  • Many of us start career and college guidance programs as one-person armies managing everything from curriculum development to university collaborations. It can feel lonely fighting for budgets, teaching time, etc. When we achieve "success" against all odds, we feel highly validated. Is it possible to succeed when we work alone? Can we truly help each student discover joy and purpose by working in a silo? Ultimately, we must ensure that our program becomes a shared school agenda that resonates with every member of the school. In this session, we will share school case studies that have undertaken or are undertaking such a transformation. The focus will be on learning from their experiences, the challenges they faced, the innovative ideas they implemented, and their unique journeys.
    Speakers:
    1. Sapna Goel, Career Guidance Counselor and Behavioral Counseling Consultant, Mayo College, India
    2. Nisha Singh, PGT Accountancy, Mayo College, India
