During my school years in El Salvador, ALL of the schools at the high school level were required to do "horas sociales". This consisted in being a volunteer in hospitals, or nursing homes. It's great to know that Escuela americana is doing the same at different grade levels.

As long as you pay the school will treat your kids with white gloves , and even allow them like you stated to eat in the library . I am a Salvadorean , who has lived in the US in nice community with the second best public elementary school in the state , my daughter will never get away with anything, even when she is sick her teacher will call to let us know that if she is able to do anything , she should get some homework done . So escuela Americana won’t be my choice for my daughter when I moved to El Salvador .

There are lots of other options here- EA was the only school that wanted to do a video with me…I do what I can.
