    It's interesting to hear your experience. One of the things the new government of El Salvador is doing is "cleaning the swamp" sort to speak because like you said, there was A LOT of corruption in ES. There still is but the govt is everyday cracking down on all kinds of corruption from evasion of taxes, predatory bank and credit cards fees, labor abuse, etc. All this cannot, ofc, be fixed overnight. The slogan of the president of ES is "Building a country that we all dream of".
    Anyway, another great informative episode! Thanks!

      Mine too! Btw, a small correction. I said "there still a lot of corruption". What I meant is that there is still corruption that needs to be straightened out but not a lot like it was before. The citizens of ES have noticed that and that's why the president of ES has the best presidential ratings in all of Latin America:)

    Sweet lady, why don’t you become a Salvadoran citizen and be part of the Renaissance of that beautiful country? It is changing drastically and you’re a pioneer of the new El Salvador. Open your own Zumba studio, be a liaison to gringos and surfers, El Salvador’s future is up for grabs.

    I believe that to become US Ucitizen
    Is more difficult than any other country.
    For example it took me 14 years to become a us citizen, and I hire four attorney, three them where rip off.
    Basically they stole my money about $20,000 but luckily the attorney number four only charge me $1500 and it took like one year to be legal in the us, pretty good lawyer.
    Thanks for sharing your experience.
    I always follow you with your nice video, and I like your Spanish oh by the way.
    Asta luego.

      But once you become a Salvadoran citizen, you can go anywhere you please if you just want to go somewhere else, but why you would like to do that when things are changing for better, things in El Salvador were horrible through the hellish years that marenafrente were in the govt, now under President Bukele's leadership a new and improved El Salvador is possible.

    One thing you stated is most likely not true; you stated that once you obtain Salvadoran citizenship, you'll retain it for life, even if you leave the El Salvador and never return. I'm almost certain that that isn't true; if you leave the country, you have to return within a certain time period.... even if it's just for a couple of days; and if you fail to return, you lose the citizenship. And this is actually quite common (for citizenship-by-naturalization); for example, that's the policy in Mexico and Colombia. Argentina won't revoke your citizenship (for this reason), but they're the exception.

    • @PerfectChaosSV
      @PerfectChaosSV  9 месяцев назад +1

      You are right if you leave for more than 5 years without returning. I made another video to explain that.
