      Kudos for the Video! Sorry for the intrusion, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you heard the talk about - Nanmily Domain Demythification (search on google)? It is a great exclusive product for finding success and profit using this online traffic source minus the headache. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my work buddy at very last got cool success with it.

    Very true about choosing a company name, when i first opened i named it Bhimani Protective Services. A short month later we renamed the company to BPS Security and people loved it, it was easy to remember and say. And our name is also part of our logo we never use ot by itself.

    What's your favorite word? Your favorite words say a lot about what's important to you and about who you are, so it might be a good idea to use your favorite words in you company name! (But it depends of course.)

      Cecilia Elise Wallin • Clear-eyed Entrepreneur, my one word is, "encourage". I chose it easily, urged on by Evan Carmichael. as I have trained over 3 dozen men in pro tree climbing, I learned how much more important it is to encourage than to criticize.:)

    • @Inventicity
      @Inventicity 7 лет назад +1

      Jason Bean Yes, that's en excellent choice. "Encourage" is a word I love too. We should all encourage each other to do our very best! Criticizing does no good, though concise feedback embedded in encouragement often is very helpful! I haven't climbed in trees since I was a child so I'm just about to check out your channel in hope of finding some impressing tree-climbing videos! 🙂

    Tip : You can also use a name that has two parts (but not too long) with the same first letter or the two parts should rhyme for example "Coca-Cola" they used the same first letter and rhymed. The reason for this is that the brain remembers it better.

    There is a German company called " Osram". They produce light bulbs. It was founded in 1906. In Polish language, Osram literally means " I will make shit on..." . When it came to Poland, people were making fun about it like crazy but surprisingly, the company stayed and is quite successful. People forgot : )

    Selecting the right domain name for a startup business is fundamental. And if you’re wondering why, there are a number of reasons. Firstly, because a domain is one of the things that you won’t be able to change once it’s chosen (at least not without a lot of aggravation!). Secondly, because your domain will inevitably need to be your brand name, which means it will be a direct reflection of what your company stands for. You can find unique and brand-worthy ".Com" domain names with logos for your new business at www.namerific.com

    Nice talk David. Can we also reflect on scores of successful businesses which names on their own mean nothing?
    We must remember that the perception in the eyes of consumers and the public goes a long way about a business.
    The coinage of a name may simply be an additional boost.
    Many examples are abound. Just look around.
    So we shouldn't over flog it.
    Get a good product out there. Sustain a good culture and your business will be remembered for that...
    Start your business

    we spent hours trying to get our company name. But after some long hard research to see if any other company had the name and checking registries in my country we finally settled with Venatici, which derives from the latin word venaticus, meaning for hunting. so at our company we are trying to develop ourselves to become "hunters", so to speak. it's also quite easy to market as it sounds fancy like Versace. luckily for us it is real estate and not clothing

      Mall Plugs Ernst Young, Deloitte, Price Waterhouse Coopers and KPMG are the 4 biggest financial firms in my country and none of these are remotely easy to remember. Fonterra, my country's largest dairy producer who owns 90%+ market share isn't exactly memorable either. Michael Kors, Tommy Hilfigre, Louis Vuitton... These are brands who are just names and easily forgettable. The name won't make them memorable, it's the marketting and whatever google decides is what will make the company memorable.

    I see some websites have one domain having multiple serps listings like tiffany rings (ecommerce cazegory pages) or websites with multiple blog topics have category pages and get multiple serps listings.
    is category pages a good way to achieve this goal?
    or having you name with multiple similar domains (smaller one topic sites) like this;
    namemedia (podcasts and videos)
    nameguides (articles, guides)
    namequotes (quotes, notes)
    nameblogs (multiple topic blogs)
    What do you think it's best ? Multiple domains will be more of work and costs...one domains is easier to handle.
    Have a nice day to all !

    Pat, I would like to build on your "how to start a business for under $500" episode. Naming a service-oriented business with the desired market in mind is an option. Mentioning so will add value to this video. It builds on your principle of specification; narrowing and focusing on a target market/industry. For example, National City Notary or Del Mar Detailing.
    Respectfully,

      Any business name can get first place on google if the actual business name is entered into the search bar, it's getting first place when people search for your industry type, field, category or industry that matters. Those who type in your actual business name probably already know about you.

    ok. here might be a good place to try this.
    My company name is Echelon Environmental. I am changing the focus of my service and thinking of re-naming. since i will be focused on compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) regulations, I have come up with EchelonEHS as a new company name.
    Any comments or opinions? Thank you

      Vishal Mitra if its toward young ppl, go with english. We have tendency to think that english or western look/sound is cool. If its toward adult/elders go with japanese name.
      Just an opinion from japanese american :) hope it helps

      Thanks for the Video clip! Excuse me for the intrusion, I would love your opinion. Have you thought about - Rozardner Successful Handyman Reality (do a search on google)? It is an awesome exclusive product for how to start a handyman business minus the hard work. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my friend Sam got excellent success with it.
