You might want to make a condition with the car about doing that sort of thing to it, cause the attitude he has means that he's not responsible to be in charge of it. For the cars sake, in originality, but also for his safety and potentially others safety. Its kind of like handing a double barrel shot gun to a kid.. And also put the condition with the car in your Will.
