RUclipsr John Doc holds the 1/8mile Hydraulic roller LS record of 4.12 at 176mph. Engine is TKM built pushing over 50psi down track, John claimed “around 300 passes” on his Aluminium rods before the most recent engine refresh. Still made over 2200whp on the dyno right before the engine was refreshed. I know 1/8mile isn’t comparable wear/tear also John doesn’t street drive at all. Just mentioning a RUclipsr capable of pushing the LS platform’s limits successfully

It's crazy how minimal the cages are in our drag & drive cars. Anything in the US running into the 7s will have a funny car cage! Check out 1320s interview with Benny (MCM) he had to slow down his Barra powered Cressida at Sick Week to run no faster than 8.50 because he only has a cage like this Torana.

@fullboost nice! I know a few of the drag and drive guys here in the US use dual systems and is blended in the tune. So pump gas until x amout of boost then the meth system turns on and is on under boost.

The only thing that is changed is the fuel itself. The car still uses a (modified) factory tank.
