A decked out King on shields hits as good as a dragon. Better off to stay away and shoot a lot of poisoned arrows at him or run away from his stubby legs. :) Loved your goblin army! I wish your wolf riders had a chance to flank, that would have been awesome.

There is no panic test from casualties from "Stand and shot", but models killed from shoting count to combat resolution. Page 120 (end of "Stand&Shot" paragraf) and page 151 ("Unsaved Wounds Inflicted").
Ooops , lucky I passed my panic check that I didnt need to take , I think Ive made this mistake before as well , I will hopefully remember next time. Thanks

great battle report again! Not sure what the Dwarf rolled on that breaktest for the king, but pretty sure he would have needed a 4 or something as your unit strength is over double his. Also stops him using stubborn as he can't fall back in good order.
I think he rolled pretty low for his break test. But doesnt stubborn negate the outnumbering 2:1 anyway , unless there's been a rule change I didnt see ? "The first time this unit is required to make a Break test it may choose not to and will automatically Fall Back in Good Order instead, even if the Unit Strength of the winning side is more than twice that of the losing side."

Thanks , yeah I think I will expand the goblin side of the army , and use more poison. I like the spider riders so I might run two units of 10.
