Navia single-handedly reinvigorated my love for the game when she came out. Shotgunning down enemies is peak gameplay. Her design/story/personality are a great bonus, not to mention the BEST voice lines. One thing that Hoyo has done so well, surprise me with such fun gameplay from characters I did not expect to like at all.
Navia is a well-rounded character with a unique backstory and an actual personality. Hoyo could have made her a one dimensional character but luckily, they didn‘t.

Mono Geo team never really require 4 Geo in the team, even Gorou gets max value with only 3 Geo characters. The more likely upgrade would be replacing Zhongli. Gorou's ability to collect nearby Crystallize Shards (similar to Navia) is extremely underused, I wouldn't be surprised if some people don't even know about it. His DEF buff, Crystallize magnet & C4 healing are usually enough to keep the team alive, which makes Zhongli's shield a bit redundant. What Itto needs is an off-field PHEC character that can buff the team. Furina is close but she only works for Noelle, since Gorou alone is not enough to generate Fanfare.
they could also an furina-geo. hell, even the pyro archon if she's anything like bennet with sub-dps/off-field dps she can work as the 3rd slot (while healing) the only problem is that the abyss is becoming more and more specific to the recent characters so they get more money.
Furina works fine with Itto alongside Chiori/Xianyun. Not really Mono Geo anymore of course, that team archetype is just too limiting and under supported.
@@lonely_dolphin8923 Furina doesnt increase the damage as much as gorou, and furina still requires an team-wide healer which is hard to fit in Itto teams. And xianyun doesnt buffs itto unfortunately, charged attacks are not considered normal attacks to xianyun ult so she wont be buffing. The viable teams with furina would be like Itto as DPS, Noelle as Healer, Gorou as support damage and Furina as Support and sub-dps. Using IttoDPS, ChioriSUBDPS, XianYun/Ningguang/Geo Traveller/whatv, and Furina would be a DPS loss in general. you could use IttoDPS, ChioriDPS, Any party-wide healer (that doesnt require time on field, like jean) and Furina. And still, that would take way more time as Itto and Gorou are like husbands in a team they buff each other. Unfortunately, if they dont add an Geo Furina the way to go is still Itto,Gorou,Ning/Chiori,Flex(Bennet/Zhongli/XingQiu/Yelan)

Xianyun not buffing Itto... my man are you drunk? xD Xianyun buffs plunging attacks which she enables any character to perform, this is even shown in the video. It's arguably Itto's best team right now, at the very least it's on par with Mono Geo, you can check gcsim.
I still maintain that, if anything, Navia is the only "real" geo character we have because she's the only one that actually specifically uses its elemental reactions. Def scaling, constructs, etc. are things that can be applied to any character or element, crystallize can't.
But defense scaling, constructs, and crystallize ARE geo. You can't pretend now that Navia is out that the other Geo units aren't still a thing. Being willfully ignorant of other units just because you have a favorite one is such a weird take.

nice video! although at 7:33 just to clarify but navia's skill doesnt split the damage amongst characters it hit. if that were the case, then 2 enemies would never take the same amount of damage but they do

Navia isn't a simple character tbh, you have to know your rotations, keep in mind of shards on hand, aim with your skill and dash cancel to maximize Navia. A simple character would be arlecchino
@@tartali63 That team usually runs another off-field damage dealer in the 4th slot, so really, Noelle's damage doesn't matter that much. You have Furina and the other off-fielder to do most of the damage to trash mobs, and Navia to assassinate the high hp ones. Is it a good team? It's... solid. A good compromise to pay both the Furina's healer tax and geo resonance one, making good use of a four star.
When Fontaine got its first trailer the only unit I was looking for was Navia and she didn't disappoint, now ironically the only natlan unit I look for is Xilonen and I'm praying that they can work together.
Most fun DPS in the game imo, nothing beats running around as a blonde mob boss smacking shit with a big sword and shooting them with your umbrella shotgun 😂
Even though you hating on Albedo. He is one of the few geos that can buff out of his niche element. I hope in we get a geo deep wood set for supports. I also hope they go the path of navia involving other elements.
Itto you will always be famous, you will always be there when I just don't gaf about mechanics. Also, incidentally, I found my MonoGeo teams to clear much faster and more comfortably this first half of the Abyss than my NaviaPlunge teams solely because Navia has "less AoE" and has no room for an Electro in Plunge. Although Albedo gets strays from this video, he's still fairly flexible in his teams
She is one of the easiest high-DPS characters to play IMO. Way easier than say, Arlo. I hate waiting for the serpent spine to charge up, but it works well once it does.
Navia was such an upgrade for my account actually. I cant believe I got her by accident. Dedicated Navia main ever since I decided to give her a chance.
Can confirm, Kachina with the Elemental Nightsoul set is FANTASTIC with Navia. She makes lots of shards, gives Geo Resonance, and as a Natlan character, she gives a flat 28% to Navia' s skill damage
A geo shatter chacter would be super fun. I always imagined that smashing a frozen enemy should just insta kill them or something (or at least do more dmg). Right now, shatter is such a huge detriment because the enemy can move again plus the dmg it does is soooo not worth it. All this would take is one good cryo character for navia, furina, xianyun to work. Plus navia would max her atk buff talent
I'm glad someone else thought of shatter. I want them to change shatter to proc on cryo affected enemies instead of just frozen ones. A geo attack could shatter and crystallize. It would buff geo, cryo, physical, and claymores.
@@RareAngelz An idea that pops up in my head for shatter is to make them work like the "break" mechanic from hsr. Where if u trigger shatter, it deals a high instance of damage, then the shattered enemy takes an increased amount of damage in the duration of shatter. It'd be a such a huge buff for Physical, claymores, and geo. Plus a new playstyle for cryo teams lmao
@@mr.cheese7339 I like that idea! Since shatter scales with EM, it's very awkward for cryo and geo, especially together..but it would be perfect if they took more damage after. Everyone has 3* and 4* EM claymores building dust that would actually be f2p friendly. It would be viable since you probably only want a little EM for shatter and then the weapon passives for that extra damage.
I recommend *Ningguang* with Prototype Amber as a healer for Navia teams, as she can contribute quite a bit: Some bursty, quick-swap damage (E>Q>C>E), Crystalize shards, Geo Ressonance, 12% Geo DMG for Navia from A4, enough healing to max Furina C2 and permanent 4pc Noblesse / Petra / Song buffs... she is also one of the best shield breakers in the game for any element due to sheer number of hits from Burst and Charged at C6, even if she is weak.
Worth noting that she isn't actually weak in that quick swap role. It's her lackluster normal attack that holds her back, but in a short damage window, she's one of the hardest hitting four stars.
I've been using her in this config since the day I got Navia. She is so comfy to use, and she is there as a support I don't care about her personal damage, providing some healing and buffs let's Navia just shine.
Navia is definitely one of my Top 3 favorites from the 4.x era. She's powerful enough to clear content easily, is excellent for Speedruns with her frontloaded damage, and just feels good to play (The anti-Lyney). I hope that Geo Catra comes in as a suitable Support / Sub DPS.

@@arcofhell Yeah nah. Lyney is indeed strong, but the fact that he can't make use of elemental reactions puts him below Hu Tao. Lyney can deal more damage than Hu Tao, yes, that's a fact. The deciding factor would be the team. Hu Tao can abuse tf out of Furina, Yelan, Xingiu, and other powerful characters like them. Meanwhile Lyney is stuck with Mono-pyro, and usually tied to Xiangling and Bennett for the most part. but Imma be real, they're both practically the same lmao
@@mr.cheese7339 lyney got his own version of vape team with furina, she's the only one that can make up the pyro damage% buff loss of losing 1 pyro unit in the team. She can take the slot of either xiangling or kazuha. I agree that lyney is stuck in mono pyro and won't improve that much compared to hu tao cuz of his nature, but the same thing can be applied with hu tao being stuck in a vape team, and ofc dependant on yelan/xingqiu. U can say teams like hu tao fischl, or double geo exists, but those teams are just outdated and fischl is a better unit in a dendro team or a chevreuse overload team, unless u're stuck in 1.x patches. Yes plunge hu tao exists but it's still most of the time a vape team (furina is a must for plunge hu tao) but it's more like of a variation rather than an upgrade, the only benefit of plunge hu tao is it covers hu tao's weakness in aoe department, while for bossing a standard double hydro (or even triple hydro with furina) is still better in single target scenarios, cuz yelan and xingqiu by themselves does a huge portion of team dps by themselves.

I use Albedo since i already had him/built, and have his event weapon. He's a great replacement for Zhongli, and produces more cystals and DMG. Navia doesn't need Zhongli's sheild since she sucks in crystals, and gives herself one. Plus his construct AOE is much larger, and can be placed farther to avoid being destroyed as easy. And with Bennett on the team, no one falls below 70% health. He's great when the other team in the Abyss needs absolutely needs Zhongli... 🤔👍
I love Navia as a character. I plan on sometime (probably long in the future) pulling for her. I only have 4 Geo characters built currently(6 in total if you include traveler). Zhongli is my best/fav of them all. I use him everywhere. He saved my account/love for the game. I was using Noelle everywhere until I got Zhongli. I still take them both into spiral everytime. The other two I have build are Albedo and Gorou. Gorou is my only built bow user. I only built him because I really like his character and there are times you just need that bow. Zhongli, Albedo, Gorou are al lvl 90/triple crowded. Noelle is lvl 90/triple 9. I have traveler lvl 90, but don't know her talent lvls. She is still a work in progress. I think Geo gets crapped on to much, I love my geo characters, they have gotten me through some really hard times. I hope Xilonen will be another great unit for me to get even though I don't need her. It will totally depend on her weapon and personality.
Fun tip for crystals - if you have the moment to do so hold her skill to vacuum the nearby crystals and jump to cancel the skill to use it where you want
Navia has become my very favourite character in the game, just barely pushing Yoimiya off that spot. Playing her Plunge Team (Chiori-Navia-Furina-Xianyun) and it's the most consistently strong, least "annoying", most fun team. Especially since I also love Xianyun and are great that she works with my favourite character. Thanks to Xianyun's mobility and Furina+Chiori's off-field apocalypse, it's also my best combat AND my best overworld team at the same time, lol
I've found pretty good results from quick swap Navia on 4 GT. I know a lot of theorycrafters don't like that but I feel like her kit is decently designed for it. She just ults and then pops in whenever her skill is up, and this way I find it's ok to run Furina/Gorou/Noelle with her since Noelle can swap without losing her ult state. You do lose a little bit of Navia's kit with not guaranteeing full crystalize shells and her passive but the team as a whole feels strong and synergistic. I do agree tho that Xianyun plunge is kinda her premium team. It's also so damn satisfying to play. Easily the best Xianyun team imo, just from how it feels (might not be DPS-wise).
I still think people misunderstand her passive the big ATK boost is to fix boring banat team since you need to move around with her bust especially with Furina and if you care about abyss then that save him for another team, you could add kazowa for grouping but that’s less of Navia unique team and more copy pasted hyper carry.
I want Navia so much and the only other Geo I have is Traveler and I don't want to use him. I want C1 Chiori for Navia actually, because I want a reason to pull Chiori, I LOVE her and other characters don't interest me anyway

For me Navia is to Geo what Eula should have been to Physical. Geo has underwhelming reactions, so just give Navia and insanely high motion value on her skill. The only reaction that affects physical isn't great, so just give Eula an insanely high motion value on her burst, but they had to ruin it by giving Eula some of the worst energy problems in the game.
Do you think petra needs to be buffed to make it on par with VV? like the on field character can also pick up shards created by the petra user and still get the buff? I think petra isn't good in practice because it's annoying to get the shard from only the petra user instead of any party member utilizing the same shard.
@@moonadora5687 Geo set that buffs the DMG of the element of a crystal when it is picked up. Not as useful as VV because most geo characters don't play nice with others, the character with the set has to pick it up, and DMG buffs are pretty commonly available, so inherently less impactful than resist debuffs unless the number is considerably bigger.
As a former Ningguang, Itto, and current Arlecchino main, I'm super excited for what the future holds for geo. It's kind of like anemo where it could be very strong if certain characters are released that unlock a completely new playstyle kind of like Xianyun. Ive lost my hope for itto and Ningguang to get indirectly buffed but I still have a soft spot for geo no matter what character is wielding the element lmao.
I don't criticize Genshin devs for many things, but the initial design of Geo, and the Geo "fix-not-really-a-fix" in version 1.3 is one of such things. It's really weird that every element has tons of elemental reactions, and Anemo has Swirl which is extremely strong in the AoE, but Geo only has crystalize. Not only crystalize feels very limiting where it comes to team compositions (additional shards after the first are completely redundant), but it is also just a really underpowered mechanic. The end result is that, IMO, Geo as an element is just doesn't feel fun, and doesn't even feel particularly useful, despite attempts from the devs to improve it. Sadly, in their current framework, the only way to sell Geo characters is to make them mostly interact with other Geo characters, and give them stupidly high multipliers. A Geo Neuvillette would probably not feel very "novel", but it would sell. The "proper fix" would be to just completely rethink Geo to give it a "proper" identity, and think what would Geo elemental reactions look like if they were being implemented from scratch now. How can they make applying Geo actually fun? Sadly, because HoyoV took so long to realize Geo needed a "proper rework" and has built so much on top of it, a rework will is just not feasible in the short term. Not only Geo characters were balanced with Crystalize in mind (so any rework at the elemental reaction level might end up over-buffing Geo), but also touching the "kit" of Geo characters after HoyoV already sold them can lead to unsatisfied customers and even people suing for a refund. However, nothing stops HoyoV from releasing new Geo characters with proper elemental reactions. Maybe something like, a crystalize shard can only be created once every 10 seconds, and other Geo reactions within that period deal reaction damage, or do something else. They could also make crystalize shards stack and refresh duration, and make crystalize-only a viable sustain option. HoyoV can probably come with a solution better than I can, but what needs to be clear is that the root cause of Geo's problems is Crystalize (or rather, the lack of actually useful/fun elemental reactions). Ultimately, I belive HoyoV is already aware that Geo as an element is just not in a great place right now, but if I could send HoyoV a message it would be that more than seeing Geo become "meta", what I want to see is from the them is for Geo to be "fun".
Noelle, Gorou, Furina and Navia is my go to team - Gorou actually helped a lot with pulling all them Gem - you always has max stacks on Navia. Navia should be play as quick swap in this team and my other GEO girl could be the on field!
I'm conflicted I told myself I'd get navia on rerun but Emilie being off field dedro is very interesting, navia just feels so satisfying to play every time I get the chance to test her out
I went to soft pity three times on the Chiori and Itto banners (getting my first Dehya in the process~), and I'm mentally surrendered to doing that again for Nilou and hopefully Navia. The future of my Geo is now.
I think next thing I do is to make a geo team to get through the any kinds of shields, maybe noelle+furina is a good start, but I'd like me some navia. But as f2p, i should maybe save for xianyun or the pyro archon to secure at least either of those. Xianyun would open a lot of new teams.
I hope the two to 3 geo Characters that get added, depending on what Iansan becomes in the end will add things, that make Geo as a whole more flexible and synergetic with all other Elements. For Kachina I hope, she becomes a dedicated Geo Healer/Supporter, which turns Crystallize into Erosions, which in return causes increased Geo DMG and increased Physical DMG the more Erosion you collect, which then also scales the creased Erosion Intensity with EM, that way we have with her a Supporter, that makes especially Geo DPS and Physical DPS significantly better. For Xilonen I hope, she becomes a Sand Controler, using Sand Manipulation for defensive ways of DMG Mitigation, turning Crystallizes into Dust Devils, which attack nearby targets to blind them, so that their attacks miss targets and cause no dmg, while also having abilities, that help increasing the Party Elemental Resistances temporarely to 100% and making the party more resistant to crowd control effects to get not their attacks/skills interrupted, similar liek Dehya does that with her E Skill. She could also cause for example Quicksand Traps in order to catch targets n stop them from moving/attacking, thus making her a nice Crowd Controler that way, which is also one of Geo's specialities. Rumors say, Xilonen will powercreep Zhonglie, but I doubt MHY will ever be so dumb doing that, they might give her similar skilsl for similr roles of dmg mitigation and crowd controling, maybe, but like I'm suggestign here, I'm sure, then in a unique and different way of approaching these roles, via increasing Resistances and via Sand Control (Blindness/ Quicksand), because thats something, we havent so far in Genshin. Zhongli has his unique Petrification Effect and his Shield.. would MHY give her also a Shield Skill, that would be boring uncreative Character Design, if you ask me
Your suggestion with geo reacting specifically with other elements is what geo really needs. I could think of geo+electro reacting to sth new like "magnetize" which does the opposite of overload, pulling mobs together. Or geo+dendro = "crumble", which lasts like the burning effect but allows the next hits to become 100% crit hits. Geo+hydro can remain crystallize since hydro is powerfull enough already and sth gotta cover crystallize. Geo+pyro could serve as a pyro applicant on loop like Nahida does with her e skill for dendro. We don't have a good pyro applicant so far, do we? And Geo+cryo does the same for cryo application
I would like to see a geo character that is basically Navia's opposite. One of their passive would make it so you can't pick up crystalize shard, while their skill or passive make the crystalize shards explode, like dendro cores. Maybe something like a geo Kaveh. It wouldn't buff already strong Navia, while giving more damage to other geo teams by turning a defensive mechanic into offensive one
Imo Navia is just fancy Heizo ._. like all her kit revolve around her element skill and geo infuse , her burst is there to enhance her skill . (Heizo got infuse basic > his burst too is enhancement for his skill > skill )

I want Hoyo to make Geo and claymores proc shatter on enemies affected with cryo. Being being hit with geo will shatter and crystallize. Maybe the multiplier could be higher on frozen enemies. While it's not game-breaking, it would buff claymores, geo, physical, and cryo while working with a currently useless reaction.
Jello not sure are you aware, with MH for Navia, on paper it has no problem but it is like Lyney, MH is not for serious Navia player, the fact that you cant swap and immediately fires off her E is a downgrade, if you so happen not having furina's Q running or it has expired, this is very well a downside. I believe you have watched Jamie's explanation for lyney regarding MH not being good, in short this applies for Navia aswell, not saying players can't use it but be aware they are restricted to MH build up , if dps or frontload is a concern.
Thinking of pulling for her coz i dont have any geo char at level 70 except the traveler 😂 I might need her for imaginarium 😅 and also i kinda like her playstyle, i even kinda have her teams already so...not a bad pick for me 😊
C0 Chiori has been a godsend as a returning player this year, I use her for a lot of my teams as a pseudo shielder which still puts out good damage. I do hope that geo gains a new reaction though.
1:20 minor error, probably just misspoke, the mega magic sword is not a craftable weapon, but yes both mega magic sword and the craftable claymore in fontaine is a good f2p option at R5, though the craftable is a bit unreliable if you're using bennett as the healer.
Something that would be cool would be if a character was able to make it so that when a cristalize shield breaks or is renewed it dealt dmg of the element it was made of. This way geo unit would help even more at shield breaking and the cristalize would find a new use.
Best f2p weapon for Navia is Favonius Greatsword. Her akhe can also trigger the sword's passive, you then have 3 shots per rotation that not only deals greater damage but also ease the ER requirement as her E doesn't have particle generation cooldown whatsoever. Works especially well when teaming with Noelle as she is hungry for energy.
I use her with Albedo (omg so many crystals), and usually BennyXl. But plunge Navia is super fun too! Re: Albedo's flower. In this team in particular, his flower being fragile doesn't bother me. Navia is so flexible and his skill cooldown is so low, so it's no big thing to swap to him and lay down a new one.
I've had the idea that to buff Geo, Hoyo should buff the crystalize reaction. So that's it's no longer just a shield but it provides a buff based on the element. Say, an Electro crystalize shield would provide an attack speed buff to all non-Geo characters. And to Geo characters, they would get an extra buff on top of that. It's the simplest way that I can think that would buff all current Geo characters. And it would actually tie Geo into the other elements without having to come up with all new elemental reactions.
A geo character that buffed/gets buffed with dendro reactions, like they do more dmg the more hyperblooms that are triggered or something would be so cool
After the Chiori hangout and Summer Event I lament the fact that Navia has no synergy with Kirara. I want the pair of them to go everywhere together forever and ever.
She's the Geo DPS I want, but unfortunately, am currently in re-saving mode for Natlan, so... am not sure I'll be pulling vs a second re-run... atm. I think I'm going to see what 4* she's running with and whether I can put in a couple of pulls, but I"m probably not going to pull a lot is what I suspect... Eventually though... I just want the entire Fontaine cast tbh. The characters were such a win in my book and all of them were so strong in the storytelling sense.
navia, furina xianyun is a tremendous core to a navia team. it's the core to my abyss clearing team. and yes, my best dps navia team is navia, chiori, furina, and xianyun, but my best abyss navia team is navia, furina, xianyun, and layla (I've lost the 50/50 to zhongli two times now), c6 layla creates a lot of cryo application and her damage isn't poor anymore, spend a little time building layla and her dps difference from chiori isn't all that big anymore, put a favonius sword on her and her er generation gets good so her burst is up 24/7. and c6 layla's burst is pretty good (frankly layla before c6 has such bad dps, it's hard to even talk about it, but c6 layla with a strong set of artifacts is almost respectable dps, and her cryo application is very good feeding navia's crystalize just fine. frankly navia loves a shielder, her playstyle is to facetank, cause it guarantees her skill hits with all it's shards. and with furina you take some hp hits from time to time. and while layla is definately a copium zhongli, for people without zhongli she's "good enough" for the 36 star abyss clears
The problem with that is that you're building a damage per screenshot team, rather than a team that is, well, good. I think for that, you'd really want Chiori or Albedo over Zhongli.
@@LumpySpaceNinja it's a lot of setup for one single big hit, with damage falling off really hard outside of the one single hit. in this abyss especially that's gonna struggle a bit considering there's so many waves of weaker enemies.
As a Navia mainer since her realize I can 100% guarantee that NW set isn't her best at all. The 4 piece passive can't be triggered if you swap her after an E this means it will only buff her normals in most cases. I originaly farmed her NW set, but after Chiori release I accidentally found out that the 4 piece passive won't trigger no matter what so I switched to GT set and Navia hits significantly stronger with it. My guess the NW set might even be broken...
For chiori perhaps add a geo healer who creates a construct buffing offfield geo damage. This geo 5 ⭐️ with chiori would have amazing synergy with furina. Mabey even rivaling the xiangling Bennett furina core😮what do you think?
Chiori doesn't really out do albedo because her dolls have small aoe and albedo procs more and has a longer field skill with wider range. Chiori needs c1 or a geo with a totem to get full use where as albedo is just fine
A Geo healer that gives resonance without shield. Maybe the character prevents you from having one and if you get a shield the character breaks it and buffs the team?
Serpent Spine has two downsides: 1) You need to have the character on-field to build up the charges. This is mostly a pain for floor 12 of the Abyss, where you will potentially care whether or not you have it fully charged before you start and you can't swap characters before you start (so the SS holder has to be in slot 1 if you want to charge up the weapon). 2) Taking damage means you lose a charge, which means you either want a strong shielder or to use it on an off-fielder. So likely won't be an issue if you plan to run her with Zhongli, but if you plan to use another geo...
While i think it's technically true that Geo is the weakest element in the game right now, I think the distance is really tiny with the rest of the pack. The geo resonance is the strongest resonance in the game, geo hits through every elemental shields in the game, the geo roster has a few of the best characters in the game (zhongli, navia), and the geo characters have good account value in making your def artifacts not be trashed. Then there's all the potential for future characters bringing more value to the geo roster the same way Emilie is a dendro support for pyro characters, or even just other geo characters that support better than the current geo supports. Also we could have other Navia-lite geo characters that use crystallize shards for stuff other than just the base shield it provides.
Personally, I'd put cryo below geo right now. Its reactions are mostly bad, and yes, that includes Freeze, with Hunters eating into a bunch of the advantage that the cryo artifact set previously provided. Meanwhile, geo has two characters that benefit nicely from cons, while cryo has only gotten Wrizzy, who is one of the lesser Fontaine characters.
Navia is a dps i really like as she just dishes out so much damage especially and she can slot in with any sub dps in the game that can apply a element that isn't dendro or anemo. I think she might be a contender for top 5 like Neuvi is obviously number 1 and 2-3 are Alhaitham or Arlecchino i find them both to be interchangable one dishes out more but is riskier the other dishes less but sustainable i do find arle to better but the both of them are interchangeble.. and then 4,5 is contentious spot between Xiao, Hu, Lyney and geo queen navia.
I think Jello should see more out of the box. Noelle is very good with Navia especially a properly built C6 Noelle, together with Furina and Sigewinne(or a flex). Noelle will be the on-field, doing big dmg with her burst and shield, while healing from the hp drained of Furina. Noelle creates the geo shards this way from Furina's pets attack and Sigewinne bubbles while Sigewinne further buff Furina's pets together with Furina buffing everyone. Navia is off-field sub dps that support with her cannons and comes in to shoot big damage once gotten enough shards from Noelle, then swap off again because Noelle's burst won't disappear when swapped off. The damage from this team is power! No need to pull for any 5star geo or worse a C1 for Navia. Best thing, Noelle is guaranteed free from beginner banner!
That's... not ideal. Noelle can handle the healing, so Siggy serves little purpose, and you could instead be running a more effective character in that slot, like Yelan or one of the numerous off-field electros. Alternately, Siggy can handle the healing, and you can replace Noelle with a more effective character, though that is more limited to Albedo or Chiori, ideally.
idk why chioris c1 is being painted as the scummiest one when neuvillettes c1 (and others) exists. that thing never gets painted as a bad thing but a "big good upgrade" instead. i find it crazy. theyre either both insanely scummy or theyre fine but the characters are more premium than most

I am so curious about new geo tiger girl 🤩 I use navia with C0 chiori, before her I only had ninnguang and she kept dying all the time so I am very happy with chiori now ❤ I know she only has 1 doll but at least she applies off field geo for navia without dying 😅🎉

Really hoping that by some miracle we'll get a new character that really buffs Albedo, because I love him and I enjoy his playstyle but I just know he could be doing so much more damage. You could argue Golden Troupe is an upgrade for him, but I think Husk of Opalescent Dreams is still the better artifact set for him. I don't even know what kind of character could even boost him... like I guess Sigewinne could buff him with that skill boost? But it's not really an optimal comp. I guess a character with a better version of Sigewinne's buff who also buffs DEF? That's my best bet. I don't need him to be meta, I just want him to be a solid option for more than just mono geo and 3rd best for Navia teams. I do think it's possible though, Klee got a massive power boost with the introduction of dendro reactions, and then Furina came in and now Kleerina is an actually solid option, even if it's not quite meta. If Emilie introduces the burn meta then that could boost Klee even more. I just want that sort of buff for Albedo too.
I went for c1 Chiori for Navia and any other future Geo characters that won't have constructs and I don't regret it one bit. This also may be because I have a top 1% Chiori on Akasha, so she feels great to use 😂
Navia single-handedly reinvigorated my love for the game when she came out. Shotgunning down enemies is peak gameplay. Her design/story/personality are a great bonus, not to mention the BEST voice lines. One thing that Hoyo has done so well, surprise me with such fun gameplay from characters I did not expect to like at all.
Navia carried half the plot in Fontaine on her back. Hoyo knew a lot was riding on her.

Mono Geo team never really require 4 Geo in the team, even Gorou gets max value with only 3 Geo characters. The more likely upgrade would be replacing Zhongli. Gorou's ability to collect nearby Crystallize Shards (similar to Navia) is extremely underused, I wouldn't be surprised if some people don't even know about it. His DEF buff, Crystallize magnet & C4 healing are usually enough to keep the team alive, which makes Zhongli's shield a bit redundant.
What Itto needs is an off-field PHEC character that can buff the team. Furina is close but she only works for Noelle, since Gorou alone is not enough to generate Fanfare.
Honestly even a single target or better full team healer would work as a good upgrade for 3rd geo in team bcuz that would allow Itto to use Furina
they could also an furina-geo. hell, even the pyro archon if she's anything like bennet with sub-dps/off-field dps she can work as the 3rd slot (while healing) the only problem is that the abyss is becoming more and more specific to the recent characters so they get more money.
Furina works fine with Itto alongside Chiori/Xianyun. Not really Mono Geo anymore of course, that team archetype is just too limiting and under supported.

And xianyun doesnt buffs itto unfortunately, charged attacks are not considered normal attacks to xianyun ult so she wont be buffing.
The viable teams with furina would be like
Itto as DPS, Noelle as Healer, Gorou as support damage and Furina as Support and sub-dps.
Using IttoDPS, ChioriSUBDPS, XianYun/Ningguang/Geo Traveller/whatv, and Furina would be a DPS loss in general.
you could use IttoDPS, ChioriDPS, Any party-wide healer (that doesnt require time on field, like jean) and Furina. And still, that would take way more time as Itto and Gorou are like husbands in a team they buff each other. Unfortunately, if they dont add an Geo Furina the way to go is still Itto,Gorou,Ning/Chiori,Flex(Bennet/Zhongli/XingQiu/Yelan)

Xianyun buffs plunging attacks which she enables any character to perform, this is even shown in the video. It's arguably Itto's best team right now, at the very least it's on par with Mono Geo, you can check gcsim.
I still maintain that, if anything, Navia is the only "real" geo character we have because she's the only one that actually specifically uses its elemental reactions. Def scaling, constructs, etc. are things that can be applied to any character or element, crystallize can't.
But defense scaling, constructs, and crystallize ARE geo. You can't pretend now that Navia is out that the other Geo units aren't still a thing. Being willfully ignorant of other units just because you have a favorite one is such a weird take.

@@tartali63 That team usually runs another off-field damage dealer in the 4th slot, so really, Noelle's damage doesn't matter that much. You have Furina and the other off-fielder to do most of the damage to trash mobs, and Navia to assassinate the high hp ones.
Is it a good team? It's... solid. A good compromise to pay both the Furina's healer tax and geo resonance one, making good use of a four star.
When Fontaine got its first trailer the only unit I was looking for was Navia and she didn't disappoint, now ironically the only natlan unit I look for is Xilonen and I'm praying that they can work together.

She is one of the easiest high-DPS characters to play IMO. Way easier than say, Arlo. I hate waiting for the serpent spine to charge up, but it works well once it does.

Can confirm, Kachina with the Elemental Nightsoul set is FANTASTIC with Navia.
She makes lots of shards, gives Geo Resonance, and as a Natlan character, she gives a flat 28% to Navia' s skill damage

A geo shatter chacter would be super fun. I always imagined that smashing a frozen enemy should just insta kill them or something (or at least do more dmg). Right now, shatter is such a huge detriment because the enemy can move again plus the dmg it does is soooo not worth it.
All this would take is one good cryo character for navia, furina, xianyun to work. Plus navia would max her atk buff talent
I'm glad someone else thought of shatter. I want them to change shatter to proc on cryo affected enemies instead of just frozen ones. A geo attack could shatter and crystallize. It would buff geo, cryo, physical, and claymores.
@@RareAngelz An idea that pops up in my head for shatter is to make them work like the "break" mechanic from hsr. Where if u trigger shatter, it deals a high instance of damage, then the shattered enemy takes an increased amount of damage in the duration of shatter. It'd be a such a huge buff for Physical, claymores, and geo. Plus a new playstyle for cryo teams lmao
@@mr.cheese7339 I like that idea! Since shatter scales with EM, it's very awkward for cryo and geo, especially together..but it would be perfect if they took more damage after. Everyone has 3* and 4* EM claymores building dust that would actually be f2p friendly. It would be viable since you probably only want a little EM for shatter and then the weapon passives for that extra damage.

I recommend *Ningguang* with Prototype Amber as a healer for Navia teams, as she can contribute quite a bit: Some bursty, quick-swap damage (E>Q>C>E), Crystalize shards, Geo Ressonance, 12% Geo DMG for Navia from A4, enough healing to max Furina C2 and permanent 4pc Noblesse / Petra / Song buffs... she is also one of the best shield breakers in the game for any element due to sheer number of hits from Burst and Charged at C6, even if she is weak.
Worth noting that she isn't actually weak in that quick swap role. It's her lackluster normal attack that holds her back, but in a short damage window, she's one of the hardest hitting four stars.
I've been using her in this config since the day I got Navia. She is so comfy to use, and she is there as a support I don't care about her personal damage, providing some healing and buffs let's Navia just shine.
Navia is definitely one of my Top 3 favorites from the 4.x era. She's powerful enough to clear content easily, is excellent for Speedruns with her frontloaded damage, and just feels good to play (The anti-Lyney).
I hope that Geo Catra comes in as a suitable Support / Sub DPS.

@@arcofhell Yeah nah. Lyney is indeed strong, but the fact that he can't make use of elemental reactions puts him below Hu Tao. Lyney can deal more damage than Hu Tao, yes, that's a fact. The deciding factor would be the team. Hu Tao can abuse tf out of Furina, Yelan, Xingiu, and other powerful characters like them. Meanwhile Lyney is stuck with Mono-pyro, and usually tied to Xiangling and Bennett for the most part.

@@mr.cheese7339 lyney got his own version of vape team with furina, she's the only one that can make up the pyro damage% buff loss of losing 1 pyro unit in the team. She can take the slot of either xiangling or kazuha. I agree that lyney is stuck in mono pyro and won't improve that much compared to hu tao cuz of his nature, but the same thing can be applied with hu tao being stuck in a vape team, and ofc dependant on yelan/xingqiu. U can say teams like hu tao fischl, or double geo exists, but those teams are just outdated and fischl is a better unit in a dendro team or a chevreuse overload team, unless u're stuck in 1.x patches. Yes plunge hu tao exists but it's still most of the time a vape team (furina is a must for plunge hu tao) but it's more like of a variation rather than an upgrade, the only benefit of plunge hu tao is it covers hu tao's weakness in aoe department, while for bossing a standard double hydro (or even triple hydro with furina) is still better in single target scenarios, cuz yelan and xingqiu by themselves does a huge portion of team dps by themselves.

My plan was always to go for c2r1 pyro archon. Now just November needs to come.
I use Albedo since i already had him/built, and have his event weapon. He's a great replacement for Zhongli, and produces more cystals and DMG. Navia doesn't need Zhongli's sheild since she sucks in crystals, and gives herself one. Plus his construct AOE is much larger, and can be placed farther to avoid being destroyed as easy. And with Bennett on the team, no one falls below 70% health. He's great when the other team in the Abyss needs absolutely needs Zhongli... 🤔👍

I love Navia as a character. I plan on sometime (probably long in the future) pulling for her. I only have 4 Geo characters built currently(6 in total if you include traveler). Zhongli is my best/fav of them all. I use him everywhere. He saved my account/love for the game. I was using Noelle everywhere until I got Zhongli. I still take them both into spiral everytime. The other two I have build are Albedo and Gorou. Gorou is my only built bow user. I only built him because I really like his character and there are times you just need that bow. Zhongli, Albedo, Gorou are al lvl 90/triple crowded. Noelle is lvl 90/triple 9. I have traveler lvl 90, but don't know her talent lvls. She is still a work in progress. I think Geo gets crapped on to much, I love my geo characters, they have gotten me through some really hard times. I hope Xilonen will be another great unit for me to get even though I don't need her. It will totally depend on her weapon and personality.

Fun tip for crystals - if you have the moment to do so hold her skill to vacuum the nearby crystals and jump to cancel the skill to use it where you want
Navia has become my very favourite character in the game, just barely pushing Yoimiya off that spot. Playing her Plunge Team (Chiori-Navia-Furina-Xianyun) and it's the most consistently strong, least "annoying", most fun team. Especially since I also love Xianyun and are great that she works with my favourite character. Thanks to Xianyun's mobility and Furina+Chiori's off-field apocalypse, it's also my best combat AND my best overworld team at the same time, lol
I've found pretty good results from quick swap Navia on 4 GT. I know a lot of theorycrafters don't like that but I feel like her kit is decently designed for it. She just ults and then pops in whenever her skill is up, and this way I find it's ok to run Furina/Gorou/Noelle with her since Noelle can swap without losing her ult state. You do lose a little bit of Navia's kit with not guaranteeing full crystalize shells and her passive but the team as a whole feels strong and synergistic. I do agree tho that Xianyun plunge is kinda her premium team. It's also so damn satisfying to play. Easily the best Xianyun team imo, just from how it feels (might not be DPS-wise).
I think GT is her BIS and NW is not even working properly...
I still think people misunderstand her passive the big ATK boost is to fix boring banat team since you need to move around with her bust especially with Furina and if you care about abyss then that save him for another team, you could add kazowa for grouping but that’s less of Navia unique team and more copy pasted hyper carry.
I would also like to note that there is only one other character in the game that has something involving crystalize built into their kit: Gorou.
I want Navia so much and the only other Geo I have is Traveler and I don't want to use him. I want C1 Chiori for Navia actually, because I want a reason to pull Chiori, I LOVE her and other characters don't interest me anyway

For me Navia is to Geo what Eula should have been to Physical. Geo has underwhelming reactions, so just give Navia and insanely high motion value on her skill. The only reaction that affects physical isn't great, so just give Eula an insanely high motion value on her burst, but they had to ruin it by giving Eula some of the worst energy problems in the game.
Do you think petra needs to be buffed to make it on par with VV? like the on field character can also pick up shards created by the petra user and still get the buff? I think petra isn't good in practice because it's annoying to get the shard from only the petra user instead of any party member utilizing the same shard.

@@moonadora5687 Geo set that buffs the DMG of the element of a crystal when it is picked up. Not as useful as VV because most geo characters don't play nice with others, the character with the set has to pick it up, and DMG buffs are pretty commonly available, so inherently less impactful than resist debuffs unless the number is considerably bigger.

As a former Ningguang, Itto, and current Arlecchino main, I'm super excited for what the future holds for geo. It's kind of like anemo where it could be very strong if certain characters are released that unlock a completely new playstyle kind of like Xianyun. Ive lost my hope for itto and Ningguang to get indirectly buffed but I still have a soft spot for geo no matter what character is wielding the element lmao.
I don't criticize Genshin devs for many things, but the initial design of Geo, and the Geo "fix-not-really-a-fix" in version 1.3 is one of such things.
It's really weird that every element has tons of elemental reactions, and Anemo has Swirl which is extremely strong in the AoE, but Geo only has crystalize. Not only crystalize feels very limiting where it comes to team compositions (additional shards after the first are completely redundant), but it is also just a really underpowered mechanic. The end result is that, IMO, Geo as an element is just doesn't feel fun, and doesn't even feel particularly useful, despite attempts from the devs to improve it.
Sadly, in their current framework, the only way to sell Geo characters is to make them mostly interact with other Geo characters, and give them stupidly high multipliers. A Geo Neuvillette would probably not feel very "novel", but it would sell.
The "proper fix" would be to just completely rethink Geo to give it a "proper" identity, and think what would Geo elemental reactions look like if they were being implemented from scratch now. How can they make applying Geo actually fun?
Sadly, because HoyoV took so long to realize Geo needed a "proper rework" and has built so much on top of it, a rework will is just not feasible in the short term. Not only Geo characters were balanced with Crystalize in mind (so any rework at the elemental reaction level might end up over-buffing Geo), but also touching the "kit" of Geo characters after HoyoV already sold them can lead to unsatisfied customers and even people suing for a refund.
However, nothing stops HoyoV from releasing new Geo characters with proper elemental reactions. Maybe something like, a crystalize shard can only be created once every 10 seconds, and other Geo reactions within that period deal reaction damage, or do something else. They could also make crystalize shards stack and refresh duration, and make crystalize-only a viable sustain option. HoyoV can probably come with a solution better than I can, but what needs to be clear is that the root cause of Geo's problems is Crystalize (or rather, the lack of actually useful/fun elemental reactions).
Ultimately, I belive HoyoV is already aware that Geo as an element is just not in a great place right now, but if I could send HoyoV a message it would be that more than seeing Geo become "meta", what I want to see is from the them is for Geo to be "fun".
Noelle, Gorou, Furina and Navia is my go to team - Gorou actually helped a lot with pulling all them Gem - you always has max stacks on Navia. Navia should be play as quick swap in this team and my other GEO girl could be the on field!

I went to soft pity three times on the Chiori and Itto banners (getting my first Dehya in the process~), and I'm mentally surrendered to doing that again for Nilou and hopefully Navia. The future of my Geo is now.
I think next thing I do is to make a geo team to get through the any kinds of shields, maybe noelle+furina is a good start, but I'd like me some navia.
But as f2p, i should maybe save for xianyun or the pyro archon to secure at least either of those. Xianyun would open a lot of new teams.

Noelle Navia is honestly very strong with furina bennett if you use navia as a burst sub dps
I hope the two to 3 geo Characters that get added, depending on what Iansan becomes in the end will add things, that make Geo as a whole more flexible and synergetic with all other Elements.
For Kachina I hope, she becomes a dedicated Geo Healer/Supporter, which turns Crystallize into Erosions, which in return causes increased Geo DMG and increased Physical DMG the more Erosion you collect, which then also scales the creased Erosion Intensity with EM, that way we have with her a Supporter, that makes especially Geo DPS and Physical DPS significantly better.
For Xilonen I hope, she becomes a Sand Controler, using Sand Manipulation for defensive ways of DMG Mitigation, turning Crystallizes into Dust Devils, which attack nearby targets to blind them, so that their attacks miss targets and cause no dmg, while also having abilities, that help increasing the Party Elemental Resistances temporarely to 100% and making the party more resistant to crowd control effects to get not their attacks/skills interrupted, similar liek Dehya does that with her E Skill. She could also cause for example Quicksand Traps in order to catch targets n stop them from moving/attacking, thus making her a nice Crowd Controler that way, which is also one of Geo's specialities.
Rumors say, Xilonen will powercreep Zhonglie, but I doubt MHY will ever be so dumb doing that, they might give her similar skilsl for similr roles of dmg mitigation and crowd controling, maybe, but like I'm suggestign here, I'm sure, then in a unique and different way of approaching these roles, via increasing Resistances and via Sand Control (Blindness/ Quicksand), because thats something, we havent so far in Genshin. Zhongli has his unique Petrification Effect and his Shield.. would MHY give her also a Shield Skill, that would be boring uncreative Character Design, if you ask me

Your suggestion with geo reacting specifically with other elements is what geo really needs.
I could think of geo+electro reacting to sth new like "magnetize" which does the opposite of overload, pulling mobs together.
Or geo+dendro = "crumble", which lasts like the burning effect but allows the next hits to become 100% crit hits.
Geo+hydro can remain crystallize since hydro is powerfull enough already and sth gotta cover crystallize.
Geo+pyro could serve as a pyro applicant on loop like Nahida does with her e skill for dendro. We don't have a good pyro applicant so far, do we?
And Geo+cryo does the same for cryo application
I would like to see a geo character that is basically Navia's opposite. One of their passive would make it so you can't pick up crystalize shard, while their skill or passive make the crystalize shards explode, like dendro cores. Maybe something like a geo Kaveh. It wouldn't buff already strong Navia, while giving more damage to other geo teams by turning a defensive mechanic into offensive one

(Heizo got infuse basic > his burst too is enhancement for his skill > skill )
I got navia and don't really have other geos but plunge with lumine seems to work well enough :)

Not that surprising tbh. A whaled out frontloaded nuker having really amazing performances in those scenarios isn't that unusual.
I want Hoyo to make Geo and claymores proc shatter on enemies affected with cryo. Being being hit with geo will shatter and crystallize. Maybe the multiplier could be higher on frozen enemies. While it's not game-breaking, it would buff claymores, geo, physical, and cryo while working with a currently useless reaction.
Jello not sure are you aware, with MH for Navia, on paper it has no problem but it is like Lyney, MH is not for serious Navia player, the fact that you cant swap and immediately fires off her E is a downgrade, if you so happen not having furina's Q running or it has expired, this is very well a downside.
I believe you have watched Jamie's explanation for lyney regarding MH not being good, in short this applies for Navia aswell, not saying players can't use it but be aware they are restricted to MH build up , if dps or frontload is a concern.

C0 Chiori has been a godsend as a returning player this year, I use her for a lot of my teams as a pseudo shielder which still puts out good damage. I do hope that geo gains a new reaction though.
Itto is my favourite npc, I love when he shows up in events :^)
1:20 minor error, probably just misspoke, the mega magic sword is not a craftable weapon, but yes both mega magic sword and the craftable claymore in fontaine is a good f2p option at R5, though the craftable is a bit unreliable if you're using bennett as the healer.
Something that would be cool would be if a character was able to make it so that when a cristalize shield breaks or is renewed it dealt dmg of the element it was made of. This way geo unit would help even more at shield breaking and the cristalize would find a new use.
I like to pair my Navia with my C6 Noelle+ C6 Gorou + C1 Furina. Great damage + Noelle battery really killer combination
Best f2p weapon for Navia is Favonius Greatsword. Her akhe can also trigger the sword's passive, you then have 3 shots per rotation that not only deals greater damage but also ease the ER requirement as her E doesn't have particle generation cooldown whatsoever. Works especially well when teaming with Noelle as she is hungry for energy.
I use her with Albedo (omg so many crystals), and usually BennyXl. But plunge Navia is super fun too!
Re: Albedo's flower. In this team in particular, his flower being fragile doesn't bother me. Navia is so flexible and his skill cooldown is so low, so it's no big thing to swap to him and lay down a new one.
I've had the idea that to buff Geo, Hoyo should buff the crystalize reaction. So that's it's no longer just a shield but it provides a buff based on the element. Say, an Electro crystalize shield would provide an attack speed buff to all non-Geo characters. And to Geo characters, they would get an extra buff on top of that. It's the simplest way that I can think that would buff all current Geo characters. And it would actually tie Geo into the other elements without having to come up with all new elemental reactions.
A geo character that buffed/gets buffed with dendro reactions, like they do more dmg the more hyperblooms that are triggered or something would be so cool
After the Chiori hangout and Summer Event I lament the fact that Navia has no synergy with Kirara. I want the pair of them to go everywhere together forever and ever.
She's the Geo DPS I want, but unfortunately, am currently in re-saving mode for Natlan, so... am not sure I'll be pulling vs a second re-run... atm. I think I'm going to see what 4* she's running with and whether I can put in a couple of pulls, but I"m probably not going to pull a lot is what I suspect...
Eventually though... I just want the entire Fontaine cast tbh. The characters were such a win in my book and all of them were so strong in the storytelling sense.
navia, furina xianyun is a tremendous core to a navia team. it's the core to my abyss clearing team. and yes, my best dps navia team is navia, chiori, furina, and xianyun, but my best abyss navia team is navia, furina, xianyun, and layla (I've lost the 50/50 to zhongli two times now), c6 layla creates a lot of cryo application and her damage isn't poor anymore, spend a little time building layla and her dps difference from chiori isn't all that big anymore, put a favonius sword on her and her er generation gets good so her burst is up 24/7. and c6 layla's burst is pretty good (frankly layla before c6 has such bad dps, it's hard to even talk about it, but c6 layla with a strong set of artifacts is almost respectable dps, and her cryo application is very good feeding navia's crystalize just fine.
frankly navia loves a shielder, her playstyle is to facetank, cause it guarantees her skill hits with all it's shards. and with furina you take some hp hits from time to time. and while layla is definately a copium zhongli, for people without zhongli she's "good enough" for the 36 star abyss clears
Have you tried Mona w/ Thrilling Tales with Navia? Looks like it has big nuke potential for Navia’s skill. Team would be Navia/Zhongli/Mona/Bennett
The problem with that is that you're building a damage per screenshot team, rather than a team that is, well, good. I think for that, you'd really want Chiori or Albedo over Zhongli.

@@LumpySpaceNinja it's a lot of setup for one single big hit, with damage falling off really hard outside of the one single hit. in this abyss especially that's gonna struggle a bit considering there's so many waves of weaker enemies.

As a Navia mainer since her realize I can 100% guarantee that NW set isn't her best at all. The 4 piece passive can't be triggered if you swap her after an E this means it will only buff her normals in most cases. I originaly farmed her NW set, but after Chiori release I accidentally found out that the 4 piece passive won't trigger no matter what so I switched to GT set and Navia hits significantly stronger with it. My guess the NW set might even be broken...
For chiori perhaps add a geo healer who creates a construct buffing offfield geo damage. This geo 5 ⭐️ with chiori would have amazing synergy with furina. Mabey even rivaling the xiangling Bennett furina core😮what do you think?

Chiori doesn't really out do albedo because her dolls have small aoe and albedo procs more and has a longer field skill with wider range. Chiori needs c1 or a geo with a totem to get full use where as albedo is just fine
A Geo healer that gives resonance without shield. Maybe the character prevents you from having one and if you get a shield the character breaks it and buffs the team?
What do you mean, the Serpent Spine is a pain to use? I was thinking of pulling for her and getting Serpent Spine for her.
Serpent Spine has two downsides:
1) You need to have the character on-field to build up the charges. This is mostly a pain for floor 12 of the Abyss, where you will potentially care whether or not you have it fully charged before you start and you can't swap characters before you start (so the SS holder has to be in slot 1 if you want to charge up the weapon).
2) Taking damage means you lose a charge, which means you either want a strong shielder or to use it on an off-fielder. So likely won't be an issue if you plan to run her with Zhongli, but if you plan to use another geo...
I use a weird team, but it brings me good results, Navia - Furina - Noelle - Xingqiu / Yelan according to energy needs, and it carries a lot
I still think Itto is solid, the only thing I have a problem with a team for him is abyss lechtor shields
Itto is meta because of his voice lines.
While i think it's technically true that Geo is the weakest element in the game right now, I think the distance is really tiny with the rest of the pack. The geo resonance is the strongest resonance in the game, geo hits through every elemental shields in the game, the geo roster has a few of the best characters in the game (zhongli, navia), and the geo characters have good account value in making your def artifacts not be trashed. Then there's all the potential for future characters bringing more value to the geo roster the same way Emilie is a dendro support for pyro characters, or even just other geo characters that support better than the current geo supports. Also we could have other Navia-lite geo characters that use crystallize shards for stuff other than just the base shield it provides.
Personally, I'd put cryo below geo right now. Its reactions are mostly bad, and yes, that includes Freeze, with Hunters eating into a bunch of the advantage that the cryo artifact set previously provided. Meanwhile, geo has two characters that benefit nicely from cons, while cryo has only gotten Wrizzy, who is one of the lesser Fontaine characters.
Navia is a dps i really like as she just dishes out so much damage especially and she can slot in with any sub dps in the game that can apply a element that isn't dendro or anemo. I think she might be a contender for top 5 like Neuvi is obviously number 1 and 2-3 are Alhaitham or Arlecchino i find them both to be interchangable one dishes out more but is riskier the other dishes less but sustainable i do find arle to better but the both of them are interchangeble.. and then 4,5 is contentious spot between Xiao, Hu, Lyney and geo queen navia.

I think Jello should see more out of the box. Noelle is very good with Navia especially a properly built C6 Noelle, together with Furina and Sigewinne(or a flex). Noelle will be the on-field, doing big dmg with her burst and shield, while healing from the hp drained of Furina. Noelle creates the geo shards this way from Furina's pets attack and Sigewinne bubbles while Sigewinne further buff Furina's pets together with Furina buffing everyone. Navia is off-field sub dps that support with her cannons and comes in to shoot big damage once gotten enough shards from Noelle, then swap off again because Noelle's burst won't disappear when swapped off.
The damage from this team is power! No need to pull for any 5star geo or worse a C1 for Navia.
Best thing, Noelle is guaranteed free from beginner banner!
That's... not ideal. Noelle can handle the healing, so Siggy serves little purpose, and you could instead be running a more effective character in that slot, like Yelan or one of the numerous off-field electros. Alternately, Siggy can handle the healing, and you can replace Noelle with a more effective character, though that is more limited to Albedo or Chiori, ideally.

idk why chioris c1 is being painted as the scummiest one when neuvillettes c1 (and others) exists. that thing never gets painted as a bad thing but a "big good upgrade" instead. i find it crazy. theyre either both insanely scummy or theyre fine but the characters are more premium than most

I use navia with C0 chiori, before her I only had ninnguang and she kept dying all the time so I am very happy with chiori now ❤ I know she only has 1 doll but at least she applies off field geo for navia without dying 😅🎉

I still don't understand how we have a massive desert region in Sumeru but no sand based Geo character.
Really hoping that by some miracle we'll get a new character that really buffs Albedo, because I love him and I enjoy his playstyle but I just know he could be doing so much more damage.
You could argue Golden Troupe is an upgrade for him, but I think Husk of Opalescent Dreams is still the better artifact set for him.
I don't even know what kind of character could even boost him... like I guess Sigewinne could buff him with that skill boost? But it's not really an optimal comp. I guess a character with a better version of Sigewinne's buff who also buffs DEF? That's my best bet.
I don't need him to be meta, I just want him to be a solid option for more than just mono geo and 3rd best for Navia teams.
I do think it's possible though, Klee got a massive power boost with the introduction of dendro reactions, and then Furina came in and now Kleerina is an actually solid option, even if it's not quite meta. If Emilie introduces the burn meta then that could boost Klee even more. I just want that sort of buff for Albedo too.
I went for c1 Chiori for Navia and any other future Geo characters that won't have constructs and I don't regret it one bit. This also may be because I have a top 1% Chiori on Akasha, so she feels great to use 😂
