I like the look of the old school. The solid brick wall is a lot like my Dining Room that I used to have when I moved to Verona NJ 15 years ago. I love it.
The brick is laminate brick, just 1/2" thick with enough mortar to stick them on the wall. Back in 79 or so, my Father installed this in the kitchen of a childhood home.
Such a quaint little hotel, especially for New York! Typically in these mom and pop hotels, there usually is something to criticize, but literally, this place is perfect! The grounds alone could be considered price of admission, they're beautiful.
6:35 I actually have seen pillows at a hotel some really long time ago that had pillows like those, I actually don't throw them on the floor, I actually use it for extra comfort and support for when I sleep, but that is just my opinion.
Just something to consider: By showing the key, someone could take that image and cut a key that would open that door. Odds of it being a issue are slim, but it's possible.
I work at a motel that uses metal keys, and we order the large key tags all the time, and you can specify what you want on the tag, along with the font and any graphics. Same goes for the "Do Not Disturb" signs. so those are probably not that old since they are items that can be purchased today. Great video.
My father owned the company that did all the brick work there...I was a young boy. It had to be late 70's early 80's.. I would love to see any construction photos if anyone has them...
+Connor Wenger I've had this one for about a year. There's a few different ones that I film with depending on the situation, but this one has the best quality. It's a Sony Handicam CX-430v.
Love these old school type of properties. And the brick is pure craftsmanship. This will be at the forefront if I have to stay in that area.
Very nice tour, very cool to see an old school motel that is so nice and clean.
Happy new year!!!

This is a beautiful little motel with a lot of character! I would definitely stay here if and when I go to Long Island.
This place looks absolutely charming!

Cool vintage 70’s American standard plebe toilet. And cool motel
That place is really cool! I'd love to stay there.

The old area code was 516. I used to work for a Long Island based company.
You expect to see someone walk in wearing a polyester leisure suit in Avocado Green with a Peter Pan collar and bell bottom pants.
does this hotel have a pool? because when I stay at a hotel I love to have a pool.
That was really fun I was thinking you can do a hotel tour here or in Fairbanks please

Zazur old school Chalet Inn And Suites
Hey, would you consider a Wyndham Garden? It’s one of their higher hotels.
I left a bag of chips there.
Neat place :)
Is there an elevator?
Sweet
"Route 25A" on the key-tag was renumbered by the county some 25 years ago...
No it wasn't. It's still Rt. 25A.
