havent been doing my research but i love a boat ride. I am dissapointed monsters is a kukaride. Forbidden journey is my most dissapointing ride experience ever based on my entire life experiences on ride systems have mostly been unchanged in the 20 years previous.
The small facial animations on the mosters eyes and eyebrows really sells it! Truly next level stuff. Just hope they come with "reinforced foundations" 😅
I think they look great but it has not changed the fact that I will be prioritizing the Ministry of Magic then Super Nintendo World then Dark Universe then Isle of Berk
As a Universal Orlando Resort Bus Driver, I'm looking forward to the new routes! Training begins in January and all the brand new battery operated buses are already there on the property staging and waiting for us! They're purple instead of the usual blue.
Good that they have gone with electric busses, though I hoped to see solar panels being utilized as covers or on top of roofs... That massive bare parking lot is wasting so much space
The perfect environment for a new Halloween horror night experience. I wonder if they planning something in this direction here or is it left to the studios?
I just got word that I’m going to be an attractions attendant for the grand opening of Epic Universe. These videos are really helping me overcome my nerves and turn them into excitement!
I hope this channels turns into a “DFB” for like what Disney has. That channel posts the “tips and tricks” and news of everything Disney from hotels to rides to food. Hoping this channel becomes like that.
Universal is starting construction for the Universal Kids resort in Texas soon, and Universal Horror unleashed details are coming out tomorrow, Universal doesn't seem to be slowing down, so she'll always have something to report on.
At least a little recignition would be nice. She's been doing years of free advertising. Just a little thank you shout out would be kind (but comped tickets or a press preview would be better.)
Why? For spoiling every surprise? 😅 I tend not to watch every video, I like to see things first and say “that’s cool”, rather than “yeah, I saw that on a video” in seriousness though, they do have some good work between them.
When I first saw a still picture of the Creature from the Black Lagoon animatronic, I genuinely thought it was a just a really good 3D rendering before realizing that WAS the one from the actual ride. Same thing happened before with the Death Eater animatronic that was shown for the HP ride, assumed it was an actor cause of how realistic it moved. I don't do horror, but wow the ones for Monsters Unchained are absolutely stunning. Can't believe there are 15 of those for a single ride 😆
I've watched every one of your videos on this park but damn there seems to be an extraordinary amount of eye-candy i this particular update. Every single photo shot contains a WOW, and in every aspect of construction, from the forest of green life to the animatronics and everything in-between. Fanfreakingtastic!
I love the look of the Black Lagoon creature! Just like the original in the classic film. I really hope it gets its own attraction as a boat ride in the future expansion!
I think there's a YT video that was taken at the NYCC.... Universal Creative was there discussing Epic Universe and there was confirmation of Creature From The Black Lagoon and a Phantom Of The Opera attractions...❤
@@feliciasingleton4849 Universal Creative didn’t say they would be getting their own rides. They said that the Creature from the Black Lagoon and Phantom of the Opera would be a part of Monsters Unchained and that there were other characters as well that will be a part of the ride but they weren’t revealing them
All we've seen of this park has been from the air...so I'm fascinated to eventually see everything from ground level (without all the roofs, HVAc systems, etc.). I know so much attention has gone into minimizing sight-line issues, and some of that will require trees to grow in and block some show buildings, etc. It will be fun to see it as a guest!
Every update from this park is just amazing! Those animatronics are crazy and they still have 10 more to reveal. 😮 Universal killing it with this park and cannot wait to explore it
I know it sounds crazy, but I'm more fascinated by the park's supporting infrastructure than the park itself. It's insane to think about all the new roads, natural gas, sewer, water, and electrical infrastructure that had to be built to support this new development. 😊
@Zveebo I'd love a video analyzing backstage infrastructure, too. I am curious about the proposed train link--where would that go? I'd also like to know whether the new bus depot that Universal is building will free up expansion space near the other parks
Plenty of land. Back to the Future is timeless, and a property they already own. Would be cool to license Ghostbusters, since they originally had an attraction there.
another great update, I've watched so many of these that if I get a chance to visit the park it'll feel strange to not hear your music choices when walking around each area lol
The Frankenstein's Monster animatronic is my absolute favorite, followed by Dracula. I really like the design of the monsters, the look is a nice balance of old and new.
Not being able to go there for the forseeable future, I'm glad you make these videos so at least I can experience the park and stuff while far away from it Thank you
Love your content ! Got our tickets for October and this is the only channel I will watch about epic universe (and Tyler Pugh about universal stuff) as you are so passionate and knowledgeable about this park. Definitely the leading authority on epic universe in my humble opinion 😊❤
Yes they are just amazing. Very informative and extremely well put together. Let’s hope Universal come to the Uk and you can follow that construction. 🤞🤞
It actually feels surreal that this park is going to actually open soon. These robots got me so pumped. I can’t for that Dracula to scream in my face. lol 😂
Hopefully Disney steps up their game with the Villains land when it opens, its so obvious they are only building one in response to Epic Universe. I bet you if Universal didn't make Dark Universe then disney would have never proposed the idea of building villains land any time soon 🤣
Honestly, Villains land shouldn't just be a section in a Disney park, it should be the bedrock idea for an entirely new theme park altogether. There's so much to work with both old and new in the company's history. Unforgettable characters, great themes, the opportunity to build aggressive rides, create interesting shows, and dive into interactive experiences. I'm honestly disappointed they're using that idea for a land and not an entire park.
@@jaredwilliamwilder3295 I agree, they definitely decided to build it in response to dark universe, but Disney proposed a villains themed land 20+ years ago
Villains land has been on the cards for over 15 years, why be bitchy towards it when you will clearly be first in line when it's ready and Dark Universe is old news?
I always watch these updates and it's amazing to see how things come along. The Dark Universe section is the one I'm most excited about and the Monsters Unchained ride looks incredable. It's something I so want to do at night. That wolfman is gonna make me freak but I'll so do the ride over and over. Can't wait to see continued updates on construction on the lands.
I would love to see a video of each area showing the progress from the beginning to now or when it is fully completed. I think it would be cool to see how these all evolved over time.
2 early Epic rumors that I'm super happy DIDN'T come true: 1) The open hub concept for Celestial Park. I was always super against that concept & love that the Park will be fully ticket-only for full immersion 2) The "Splash Battle" ride system that was rumored to go where the Celestial Park carousel is going. I rode that ride system at a Park in Spain & it was legitimately the worst ride ive ever been on hahaha Amazing coverage, Alicia & everyone that helps her (Ian, Bio, Adventures with Annie, etc) Were almost to opening day!!!

Universal had a lot of issues with rides when they opened up back in 1991, so they did extensive ride testing prior to opening up Islands of Adventure to make sure everything worked properly. It looks like they're following that with this park; their completed rides have already been testing for several months now. I'm sure they'll still have some bumps for the first few months (as is normal for a new park), but the bulk of the problems will have been sorted out prior to opening.
In my opinion, how impressive the animatronics and effects are at opening isn't quite as important as how well they will age and be maintained. They can have the coolest animatronics and interactive elements, but will they still be working in 5 years? 10? I'm interested to see how well this tech will keep up, because I probably won't get a chance to go for a few years.
Don't know if you follow the Nintendo of America channel, but they just posted a full walk through of Donkey Kong Country in Universal Japan (it's in Japanese), but their DKC is basically a clone of what it is coming to Epic. They even showed the official Donkey Kong meet and greet character and he is amazing!
What do you think of the Monsters animatronics, and does they change your mind on what ride to do first?
Those animatronics look next level!!
