Take care of yourself! And make sure you get enough rest. Because there is no way you can be getting enough hours of sleep! You're on fire with these videos!
The drone technology in HTTYD would be amazing. Funny enough, if they can master the tech, it can be applied to each land (flying villains in Nintendo, Dracula/bats/witches in Monsters, and magical creatures in WWHP). So much potential.
It could perhaps even be use in their other theme parks if they ever revolutionize the idea on a global scale! Though I wonder how they'll store the drone tech during bad weather 🤔
Immersive experiences like this would be incredible and I would hope to be added in the other parks. I could imagine them being a great addition to older rides that don't require any physical alterations: Elliot and E.T. on the bike, Transformers that can fly, pterodactyls at Jurassic Park and Kong, various minion shenanigans, etc.
I agree, if done right the flying elements would look amazing. Kind of similar to smart light drone shows, but better. Plus it would be a far improvement to what Disney uses over in their parks for the fire works shows. Which right now is a simple teether and harness with projected lighting. I think the use of drones is a good option for universal and will certainly make disney step up. Now if universal can stop using less screen based projection rides...
It is a lot easier to plant a tree or lay down sod than it is to build a rollercoaster, but for some reason seeing landscaping below Starfall Racers makes it feel so much closer to complete. Love to see it. Thanks for the awesome video.
You guys are by far the best and only ones I’ll watch about anything happening in Theme Parks in Orlando!! If you wanted to get more in detail, I’m sure we wouldn’t mind longer videos!

For how to train your dragon im surprised the didn’t do a ride like flight of passage at animal Kingdom but you fly the dragon. I’m assuming universal heard the critic that we don’t want more screen based rides.
I think people have been going to universal for the rollercoasters though. That sets it apart from disney and you can see rhen trying to increase their rollercoaster collection with recent additions. They just put a coaster in instead of a simulator
Back when Epic was announced Dragons was near the bottom of my most anticipated lands to see. Now, it's what I'm looking forward to the most! Love everything the Creative Team is doing to bring this area to life.
Whenever I see you uploaded a new video my entire life pauses for the duration of the video lol. It doesn’t matter what I am doing at the time, it can wait.
Everything in this park is so huge it looks small without anything to compare it to lol. I keep seeing the construction equipment next to the buildings and have to remember they aren't toys
You know one thing I think would be cool? If they did something similar to Cosmic Rewind's queue & did a video series where various Universal IP characters travel to Celestial Park via the portals and talk about what they think guests will enjoy. Imagine Ron Weasley & Rosalina being interviewed about their rides on Starfall Racers. Or Astrid discussing the best dishes at the Oak & Star Tavern. Or a Pokemon Trainer & their Eevee watching one of the park's water fountain shows.
That would be hilarious. They should talk about old rides for people who went more in the 90’s like JAWS, Kong, Back to the Future, Barney, Nickelodeon, Hitchcock and Hanna Barbera
WOW! This is a massive update video! There's been so much progress this past month. Thank you, Alicia, for your work in providing us with peeks into the permits and for compiling Bio's photos.
Correction...Epic Universe is far ahead of schedule of their "Summer 2025 AT THE LATEST opening". Their employee hiring & training schedule shows they intend to be FULLY open by early Spring 2025, possibly even earlier. They couldn't risk having supply chain issues or not enough staff fully trained so they announced their Summer time frame to give them a huge buffer if needed...but the official press release says Summer 2025 at the latest, NOT Summer 2025 at the earliest. The Kirkman Rd. extension is still on track to be completed around its October 2024 schedule, and that was the ONE thing that has to be done before they can open EU. Seriously, look at how much they have already completed and how much more they can finish by one year from today. The park will be fully landscaped before Summer 2024, and they will only be finishing off dark rides and shows after that. We could see technical rehearsals start before Christmas 2024. The people I know in Florida who work at that site say the park is still 4-5 months ahead of a Summer 2025 opening. They were told they wouldn't be working there anymore by Winter of 24/25.
I suspect technical rehearsals and soft openings will start for the holidays of 2024. It's the best way to get everyone trained when you have actual customers in the park even if it's only one third to half full. They could do 90 days of rehearsals with season pass holders and family members and then fully open with one or two of the hotels open by late Jan 2025 or late Mar 2025.@@platonymous
I was at Universal last week and was able to drive by the Epic Universe site, and these picture do not do it justice on how amazing the hotels are looking. I cannot wait to head into Epic Universe once it opens.
Lol now going into overdrive ? they have been this whole year its amazing what a park can do if they want to get something done unlike other Florida parks.
Park hasn’t opened yet and I’m already so excited about possible expansions in the 2 big land expansion pads haha. Would love to see Star Trek and lord of the rings.
If fully built out with all expansions we are talking about a park with over a dozen table service restaurants, and Harry Potter, Super Mario, Dragons, Monsters, and possible LOTR lands. 20 rides one day? Also very curious about if the hub has any room for additional rides? Im very glad that the hub is getting some rides
Part of me is really hoping there is an area before the queue in there where you can sit and walk around at leisure, would be so cool to just relax in the Ministry lobby.
The park is really coming together. Bummed so much expansion space is wasted on the helios hotel. Dragon land keeps getting crazier with all the detail!
I don't live anywhere near here so I'll probably never get to see this park in person, but watching these videos and seeing the whole place take shape is awesome. Especially can't wait to see outdoor theming progress in the DK area.
Ah man, 2025 can't get here fast enough! Epic Universe is truly shaping up to be EPIC!! I'm actually excited to see all 4 of the lands, and I've never even seen How to Train Your Dragon 😀 Thanks for the update!
Just add a slow-moving atmospheric ride like old-school Disney (Pirates, Haunted Mansion) or Tokyo (Sinbad) so grandparents can enjoy an E-ticket with their grandchildren, and this will be the best theme park in the world.
Disney World had better up it's game. This literally is just pure awesomeness. Classic on top of Classic in multiple themed areas. What could Moana, Zootopia or Encanto even offer compared to this? Worth noting: the only thing The Walt Disney Co. builds at speed are DVC resorts.
I watch many Epic Universe construction update videos from many different channels, but I can confirm that yours have the best commentary of the bunch.

That's an impressive ride list before even considering rides adult dark rides like Harry Potter FJ and the new Frankenstein and Ministry of Magic ride. Hi, from the UK. Now, this is how you build a theme park. You gotta hand it to Universal, they don't hang about, ha. Can't believe the rate of construction going on, it's mind blowing.
With another German word - "treffen" - in the mix, it looks like we are definitely in the home of Universal's Dr Frankenstein. Also, for those thinking/hoping this might open early: Hollywood's Mount Beanpole was topped off in April 2022, 10 months before Super Mario World opened. We are 15 months from the beginning of 2025. I think for transportation from Universal to Epic, there should be something similar to Disney's skyliner but the cars should be designed to be like the Weasleys' flying car. The route would go between Harry Potter worlds like the train currently does between Universal and Islands.
Looks great. My only nitpik is that on HtTYD the boards on the ground are too perfectly straight. Everything else has a handmade look, the floor boards look too manufactured. Can’t wait for this park. It’s gonna be AWESOME! You thought I was gonna say epic huh?!! 😂😆 So much theming! Just what I love. Love your content and information. Thank you 🙏🏾
The drone tech for the HTTYD land would not be the first time a theme park has incorporated drones with themed elements. When the Rise of the Resistance attraction first opened at galaxy's edge, they used SUV-sized drones (themed to X-wings) for a show in the park promoting its debut... but since then, to my knowledge, they were never used again.
