If you're a family planning to stay at a universal hotel, only one person in the family needs to have an annual pass in order to get the annual pass discount on the hotel room. The same annual pass can be used for all in-park purchases on food and merch to save even more money. Do the math and you'll be surprised at how quickly you'll make up the purchase cost of the annual pass. It doesn't work for Epic Universe tickets though - only one ticket per annual pass per day is allowed.
Minor note: Helios grand will also be missing another perk on opening day May 22. Early Entry! Because the hotel is opening on the same day and check in isn’t until the afternoon, guests won’t have early park entry that day! However Stella nova and Terra Luna will still have early park entry!
This is our first year as Premier AP's, and we love it! I love the perks! We have our single day tickets for Epic! ❤️ Thanks, AJ, for another great Universal video!
My tip: An interactive wand purchased at Universal Studios Orlando will work at Universal Studios Hollywood and vice versa! The maps will be different, but the wands will still work! (Also, I'm so happy that Universal Studios Hollywood is open again after a scary couple of days.)
International travellers: always use a VPN to buy tickets as if you were in the USA. Universal charges a higher price when you buy internationally. Right now, a "2 day + 2 free days" ticket costs $270 in the USA site and $320 in the Brazilian site, for example
I still haven’t forgiven Universal for their parking lol. Years ago, we were in Orlando, and we were trying to get to the Hard Rock hotel. We made a wrong turn and wound up in the line for Universal parking and we couldn’t turn around. They wouldn’t let us turn around at the gate. We were forced to pay the $30 or whatever it was at the time just to go to the HRH. We had no intention of visiting the park that day. I still want my money back 😂
About the robes, you can see right away the cheap amazon robes. They dosent look good at all, especially next to people in original ones. I would recommend just buying used one original robe on resellers platforms
I really wanna go there for my fortieth this year, but 'm not sure if we'll be able to afford it. I mean, I can afford the 3-day park ticket; i.e. Universal, Islands of Adventure and Epic Universe...just not the hotel and plane tickets.
I never thought I'd be able to afford it either honestly but the 2 days + 2 days free promo was really helpful. my boyfriend and I are going in March for $2000 and thats flights, hotel, and tickets plus one day of express passes. without the 2 days free it would have been waaay more expensive.
We gearing up to go in August 2025 but are nervous about the crowd levels. We used to go in Sept before our daughter was born but now she’s older we think a Universal trip is in order. As much as we’d like to do Epic, we think this could be too busy especially if they don’t offer express pass??? Should we stick to the IOA and US?
@@dfbbreea thanks and will let you know how it is! I’m so excited! Also I was wondering can you guys upload the opening /closing music for the videos as a mp3 to the DFBwebsite & could I pay to download it coz I would love to be able to use it as my ringtone. Every time I hear the music at the start it brings a smile to my face
Everything is going as planned. The only things left to sort out are my train to Manchester Airport and back, as well as the Mears Connect Coach from Orlando Airport and back. Another 3 months and then I can move on to the final phase. I've got everything planned out for my park days, including the 2 days I'll be visiting Universal
Thank you guys for all the info you provide!!! I am wondering if there are path shortcuts to Hagrids at EPA (like by Green Eggs & Ham) and if it’s possible (&a good idea) to - while in the EPA line for Hagrids to mobile order breakfast to get the included Butterbeer and have it soon after you finish up Hagrids? With that, on mobile order can you set the order for a specific time?
Just know that that ticket does NOT include the new park, Epic Universe. You must purchase a one-day admission to Epic on top of the multi day pass. Epic tickets will not be sold separately for the foreseeable future.
It’s still WILD to me seeing the “Let’s win Disney” change to “Let’s win Universal.” Just emphases how much ground Universal is gaining in media with Epic Universe turning all the heads. I have APs to both Disney and Universal so I’m excited to experience all the new thrills in May!
Hey guys, question for the community! We're planning on travelling to Orlando from Australia in September to do Universal and Disney World. Having a look at tickets from here, while the option is available for the bundle tickets with the other parks, it's only currently showing May and June 2025 and won't show any future dates. Is this a known issue or is this just something happening for international guests? Do we have a rough idea as to when September tickets will be available for purchase?
You can get rid of the beads you collect by tossing them onto the bead tree in CitiWalk, it's just past the mini golf on the right where the people movers are.
That's not necessarily true. People who can get cheap flights to FL from home (decreasing the initial costs) get good discounts with even the seasonal (lowest tier) pass. 10% off food in your hotel, 10% off your hotel Starbucks, a percentage off hotel Universal gift shops. Plus special pricing on hotel rooms, which are released frequently and are posted on the annual passholder website. I'm talking $50+ per day discount on your room. The pass pays for itself in a couple trips. In addition, pass holders often get room upgrades, particularly if they tend to go to the same Universal hotel. They also get special deals and discounts every year during Universal passholder appreciation weeks.
yep, like tina said! Plan some extra time because that drop off is a lot further than the uber drop off at Disney parks (you have to go through City Walk to reach the park entrances after traversing the parking garage and security)
I want to go to Universal at least to just try butterbeer, but I know I can't go in the foreseeable future. I wonder if they'll ever put it in a local franchise in the US.
On a recent trip, last week, a staff member gave us a hidden tip at sea world that ending up changing my universal trip, but I cannot tell it as it would likely lead to everyone exploiting it

Tip: prioritize rides that may breakdown later, e.g., Hagrid's Motorbike coaster.

AJ, be a proud slytherin! There are no bad houses, only bad people.

Sections, we miss the sections!!!
Bring back sections
This video comes right on time! I just got my AP!
😅😂🤣😜

Express VPN did not work.. I think they must have GPS protection also. Had a go!
Disable location services and use an incognito tab should fix that problem @LJK-pw3cu
@@LJK-pw3cu or just wait till you get to the US to buy the ticket
Oh man! That is a big price difference!
I hope you make it to Dollywood! 😀
AJ needs to go - it’s SO FUN!!
The warm cinnamon bread is reason enough 😂❤😊
Extremely appreciated the Universal Orlando content. Heading there in 11 days armed with tons of food tips thanks to your content ❤
Have SO MUCH FUN!! Can’t wait to hear about your favorite parts!
Helllo, hellllo DFB, grand RISING!! Thanks for another great video lovelies 💖💖

Could you share more details about the lockers for the rides that make you use them? Where they are / how they work?

Are there any discounts for Florida residents?I mean what is the best to Florida residents.

Stay at Endless Summer, the rooms are affordable. Spirit air is a cheap option for flying if it's available at your home airport. Happy Birthday!

I’m staying at terra Luna in July so this video is awesome and perfect timing

How does the buy 2 days get 2 days free work? You get 4 days to visit the parks basically? Thank you!
Yup!!

Maybe tips for Disney World goers who want to go to one universal park for the day. Maybe factors towards the two parks. Mainly to go to Harry Potter.

Disney hates America

AJ it sounds like you would more likely get a burgundy HP shirt. If you were a Slytherin, you would be proud to sport your house green 💚🖤🐍
Would love to see a video about gluten free options in Universal! ❤ Very curious wat Epic will have to offer as well.
Do you have to be living in Florida to get annual pass for Walt Disney World and Universal Studios
Nope
No, but it's a bad investment unless your local

Going for the first time May 3rd!
Aww - that’s my momma’s bday! How awesome!
Same than Brie … I wear my Hufflepuff robe every Halloween… that’s how I justified spending that much money on it
is there a place for ubers to drop you off/ pick you up?
Yes! It takes you to the top of the parking garage. You go down 2 escalators and walk to security. 😃
yep, like tina said! Plan some extra time because that drop off is a lot further than the uber drop off at Disney parks (you have to go through City Walk to reach the park entrances after traversing the parking garage and security)
I have a 3 day ticket with Epic included, but I want another day for epic 😢
Laughs with military benefits 😂
I just got done with work.

Qunicey!
