Yup, you are right. You definitely end up a little wider with these wider wheels/tires. For me it's still narrow enough to fit through our gate, but if you need it narrower I can definitely see how the narrow tires are better for that.
Good stuff man. Wonder if could do something similar with my 22 Ariens Edge 52 by putting the Ikon wheels and tires on it. The Edge tires are 20x8-8 and I think the Ikon's are 20x10-8. These use the 4 lug pattern just dont know if it's the exact same fit and offset. I'm having trouble on a few slopes, plus there's more tire options for the 10 inch wide ones. Thanks!

I have mine to fit thru small backyard gates. Looks like you would lose at least 4" going thru gates.

I bet that would work out perfectly for your setup. It’s amazing how much of a difference the wider tires make

@@austinschmidt5177 That's how it was for me too. I just ended up pulling the trigger and crossing my fingers and it ended up working out.

Definitely helped. The OEM skinny tires were leaving ruts everywhere.
did you notice any better in the ride? any other pros or cons?
Definitely a better ride! Not as rough and bouncy over uneven areas. Feels more stable on inclines. And when it is slippery it has better traction.
