It is toxic to animals. Definitely put it somewhere that your dogs or cats cannot get to.

We do that for inside the house for fruit flies and it works great!!! For outside we have tried it and it's okay, but I can tell you that after 4 hours with this Quickstrike, the difference is astounding! But I wouldn't use Quickstrike inside the house, only outside and away from the dog's reach.

Absolutely! It's been about 2 days and it's killed well over 40 flies. Going to dump it out and put fresh bait in the cup later today.

It was pre-seasoned meat from the local grocery store here.

I agree. I would never recommend Power Home Remodeling to anyone. They have been absolutely terrible. I could go on for hours about how horrible the experience during install and even after a year or two later has been.

That’s awesome! We have them on all the doors in the house now. The one door where it is the most helpful is the door that goes from the house into the garage. When bringing in groceries we leave it open on the magnet and it so much easier

Keep in mind, even if you have to use the new sensors you can usually use the previous wiring and just splice the sensors in if you want to avoid running new wire the entire way

We have lived here for 10yrs. Have two teenage boys. It gets messy everyday, we just do our best to keep it clean.

The large pre-filter has to be replaced about once every year. If your water is not too dirty, you can probably go a year and a half. It’s pretty inexpensive and you can replace it yourself. I think it’s about 30 or $50. Other than that, the only maintenance is to add salt pellets as it runs out. For us with a household of four we had 4 bags of salt about every six months. That’s really about it. The system should last 20 years or more as long as you maintain it well. Our last system was 25 years old and still working.

I get these a few times per year. Look at the video again, does that grass look like it is starved for water?

I have not tried that. But might be worth a shot.

You want to use distilled white vinegar. Also sometimes called “cleaning vinegar”. You can find it at grocery stores and hardware stores.

You got it. I’m glad you found the video helpful. How much filtration you add depends on your incoming water quality. If you are on city water or well water I would pass on the UV filter, because you’re mostly filtering for chemicals and minerals. If you are pulling water from a lake or water holding pond then a UV filter might be a good idea.

No. The manual didn’t state that. But I shut off the water softener feed so none of the carbon or things it has filtered accidentally gets in there. Just to be safe I guess.

If you have iron heavy water the important thing to do is make sure you use the salt in your system that is rated for iron. Shouldn't matter which system you're using.

I bet that would work out perfectly for your setup. It’s amazing how much of a difference the wider tires make
