- Update 1/21/2020 ** SOLD ** This car found a great home with an Acura enthusiast! I'll update the channel with a short goodbye in the coming weeks. Thanks for all the interest!
Offering this up to subscribers before it goes to the general public, this is my 1992 Integra "DB1" sedan with only 73,400 miles. It will be on display today 1/12/2020 at the "Future Collector Car Show" in Scottsdale, Arizona from 12-6 p.m. if you are local and want to come take a look. For full details including a link to a Google Drive with 80 detailed photos and my email address to contact me, see my blog at the link below. I hope this car goes to a good home. It was an extremely difficult vehicle to find and I've only had it for two years, but need to make room for my new 'Super Sonic' 1999.

This will be the new age off classic cars soon
I agree!
not at all it’s just enthusiast hype lol
You can tell you take really great care of your cars. Good luck in your sale, someone will be getting a great classic
I hope so. Thanks for watching!
Love it . Broh I. Had one in high school and when I saw this I cried.. Really
That's awesome. I sure enjoyed owning it for a bit.
What a beautiful and well preserved Integra. I would love to own it, but have no where to park it.
That's kind of the same problem I have. I'm up to 10 cars right now!
Love seeing clean examples of older import cars.
Thanks for watching!
My first car was a black 1991 Acura Integra Ls sedan. This one you have here is definitely a rare piece in my opinion. Good luck on your sale.
I agree. It took me forever to find.
Gorgeous, unbelievable condition. Even the trim looks look, not all whited and faded from that AZ sun. Amazing.
I know. Well technically it was a Seattle car from 1992-2000, then southern Utah (garaged) 2001 through 2018, now Arizona (garaged) from 2018 through current.
Beautiful 4 door Integra. I have a 1990 Integra coupe with 78,000 miles. Looks to be the same color. 👍🏻👍🏻 Two thumbs up.
Awesome! Yep Torino Red!
Awesome!
Beautiful Integra. Someone’s gonna get a great car. Hope they appreciate it as much as it should be.
I agree!
I pray this car doesn’t go to some Honda tuner that’s going to trash this car! Please let it go to someone that’s going to keep it original and stock.
I hope so too. I got a text today about it from a high schooler. Eek.
Michael Gray I'm putting one pieces on it and coils😎
@@TysonHugie god no please don't sell it to a kid!
I saw GS sedan in the title and was like "no way!" then saw it was the Integra :D
Haha, yes, the Leg GS is here to stay!
Awesome. I had a white 93 LS 4 door until 2007, it was a fun and reliable car. Unfortunately, it was in Illinois and rust took hold. Less than 2 years later it was literally rotting apart.
That's one thing this one doesn't have a problem with is rust.
Congrats on owning such a great older great condition manual fine vehicle!!!
Well done dude, your content is very interesting
Thanks, I appreciate it!
very nicely preserved. i wish i knew u were gonna sell it i would have saved money. but i hope whoever gets it keeps as good of care of her a you did. 4 doors are becoming a rarity. i did not care for the 4 doors at first, but now i cant remember the last time i saw a 4 door integra of any generation, and man have they grown on me. they are like the perfect all around car. handling, space, great gas mileage, easy to work on by yourself, parts were cheap and plentiful, and because of all that they hold value
I know, it's so rare! Took me forever to find.
Absolutely gorgeous car. Bringing back some very fond childhood memories.
Thank you for watching!
Someone out there will be a very happy new owner of this. After watching about a dozen of your more recent uploads yesterday after discovering your channel, and the official Acura "SLX Reborn for RADwood" video, I must say I have now caught the '90s Japanese luxury sedan bug again. The last time it was in 98 when I bought a 95 Mazda 929 and then a 93 Vigor just a few months later. This was after purchasing a 94 G20 about a year earlier and wondering why I ever wasted my $ on cars like Ford Tempos and Saab 9000s and many others. Although it was nothing more than a dressed up Sentra it opened my eyes. I grew up in a family that pretty much only drove Chrysler built vehicles so never had a taste of the good stuff. I must proudly say that I've turned my 65 year old father into an import guy, no more Dodge Dakotas or Sebrings, it's now Toyota pickups and Infiniti sedans haha! Hey Tyson, when you have a minute could you check this Legend out real quick and let me know what you think would be the most I should pay for it? I'm seriously considering going to take a look at it. I wish it were more stock but it does look pretty good to me as is. Thanks! providence.craigslist.org/cto/d/foster-1994-acura-legend-gs/7048046315.html
That black Legend GS is beautiful! Best trim level, best color combo. I think it's worth his asking price or at least an offer somewhere in that range. Thanks for tuning in to my channel! The 90's Japanese bug is very real, haha.
Best of luck with the sale. I know this car deserves a good home!
I agree. Hope it goes to a good home.
Love the plates! It indeed deserves a good home!
Thank you! I know, I love the AZ copper historic tags!
Idling sooo smoothly
It runs so perfectly.
Just wow man what a true beauty. Unmolested, manual gs sedan all original. I hope whoever buys it does not ruin it with ricey mods or that it does not get stolen. It should bring top dollar for what it is
Thank you! I agree. It sold to a buyer in Florida who is a dedicated enthusiast.
Tyson is starting his oun little Acura dealership in his gaurage.
You know it :)
His collection is better than Sex Lol Lol Lol
Bro don't rush the sale! You should get at least 10k for this maybe even more for it given the condition. The wheels look mint. The engine rumbles nicely. The seats are the soft, plush variety. If you hold onto it you could get up to 20k one day guaranteed
Maybe you're right!
I almost died when you should the “white crusty stain” lol!! But beautiful car man!!
Haha seriously. I'm afraid to find out what that is.
Could be some pre
B18a1 teg brings me back to my first import back in the day a 90 ls integra very clean man
Thank you! It's definitely a survivor.
Beautiful integra! Cant wait to see the restoration of the DC2.
I know, I'm anxious to get working on that!
Love it have a regular one same color auto best gas saver ever full tank lasted me 3 weeks glws
Thank you!
Drives pretty quick for its age, I like it
It really does run great.
I have my grandmothers one owner 1992 Three door with 44,000 and it is in beautiful condition as this ones was also. Also like that you had the over sized brochure with it also.
That sounds like a real beauty! Wow. Post some videos of it if you get the chance.
This baby looks so damn cool! Sadly, my own integra is gonna be gone in a few weeks😭😭😭. The one I have is a ‘92 also, but it’s the 2 door one, in a graphite grey color. It’s been through a lot, even before I got it, but it lasted up until this past Xmas eve. Had it for about 10 years now, and unfortunately I cannot afford to fix it. If I had plenty of money, I’d restore the hell outta it, and custom make parts that have been discontinued too, and keep driving the car.
I wish you were able to keep it!
Nice ride, the 2nd gen Integras were the best-looking.
I like them a lot too!
Beautiful Integra . I'am in Ohio and you just don't see them on the roads around here anymore .
I know, it's definitely a survivor.
Some lucky person will enjoy this beauty! I wish I could
Thank you, hope it goes to a good home!
The vibration at idle, especially with ac one is definitely engine mount related. I've had that issue in several of my cars lol probably easy to replace on these cars
Sounds about right!
Damn, that's a beauty!! Wish I was in you're part of the country, I'd buy this car so fast.
Transport is always an option!
Wow! I'm totally shocked you're selling this!
I'm at 10 cars. And this one only got driven 300 miles in all of 2019. It deserves better than that! Someone needs to appreciate it and exercise it.
@@TysonHugie Well good luck Tyson! Hope it finds a nice owner. I'd love to have it if i weren't 1500+ miles away.
What were flipping Acura's now Tyson.
Tyson Hugie Man!!! This color is called Torino Red and I had a 1990 hatch 2-door from brand new as my hs graduation gift. You have no idea what this is. It is a high-speed touring marvel. You can cruise it at 120 mph with perfect stability unlike most cars today. Double wishbone suspension: amazing road feel. It actually accelerates slowly I know but going fast in top speed is not a problem!!!! Wow what a beauty!!!!😍😍😍Amazing memories!
@@TysonHugie You would never catch me say that about a car i drove 300 miles a year...at least it was driven, some sport car owners have cars for 10 years with on 500 miles. Why sell it for some ToolBag to yeet it into another car. Just my view
You didn't mention a price , what are you asking for it ? Is it listed somewhere ?
Read the video description
It's shown in the video description, I'm asking $5,900 and there's a link to my blog entry which also links to a Google Drive of about 80 photographs and details.
You know I'd love to have that one, although I do love mine, having it in red in more original condition is Def the cherry on top. I'm just gonna have to be content with mine I guess.
Yours is awesome! I hope this goes to a good home.
Yeah it deserves a good home for sure.
Tell me when the Legend goes for sale.
Haha will do!
The perfect car, but sadly, I live in New Zealand.
I'll ship it! :)
You got jdm mate
Super clean!
Thank you!
Saw your notes that the defrost turns on randomly lol
That takes me back when I had a 91 ls integra. Could never find out the solution :/ I can’t recall but it may have been a relay behind the fuse box but I never wanted to investigate it further
It's funny because my 1992 LS did the exact same thing.
Hey Tyson! I am going to look at a 94 Legend LS for sale in my area with 103k miles white over tan 5 speed, any tips and tricks to look out for?
Sounds like a beauty! For the most part it's like any other used Honda, but I'd for sure ask about any recent timing belt maintenance history. Also any cooling system issues, since those are prone to overheating & subsequent head gasket failure.
Tyson Hugie tysm for the advice! I'm super excited
I own this car now! Still clean as a whistle 😎
I'm so glad this went to a good home!
The more stock the more the price goes up plus the mileage even better
Yep and this one is original all the way down to the tape deck.
Is this still for sale?
I've accepted a deposit and have a buyer flying in on Tuesday but it's not finalized quite yet.
This one going up on BaT?
And I see you said the reason for the sale was you only drove it 300 miles last year. In the last 5yrs, I've put less than a 1000 miles on my Prelude. The S2000, 1100 miles in 1.5yrs. Guess I should get out more.....
I was thinking about BaT, but I sold a nearly identical car on there 2 years ago. It was a lower trim (LS) and had almost 50,000 more miles. It went for $4,500. This is a way nicer car for not that much more.
@@TysonHugie I remember that one. Also the Accord you listed there about a year ago.
My 04 S2000 with 41,000 will probably be up there this spring.
You think this would be a great daily driver?
It’s sad to see how small your garage is there any way to expand your collection with sheds or carports with walls on the patio/lawn? Maybe pave over parts of the lawn with bricks next to the driveway
Haha, the last thing I need is more parking. All I would do is fill it with more cars that don't get driven enough. I don't like just letting things sit, and I already have 9 other cars besides this one.
If I wasn't paralyzed I will buy this car at this moment since I miss mine especially when they stole it
i'm very sorry to hear about that
1.8 5 speed sedan the only auto setbelt that works...this car is truly the best balance of performance and reliability plus just a Beast...my opinion. If I had one ill just keep it locked up....stamp that!!
Thank you! I miss this one!
Man if I didn’t already buy my EF I would buy this in a second
Thanks for watching!
That thing is clean! I'd buy it if I was closer
Thanks for watching!
What do you reckon is a good price for a 1992 2dr RS with 63k on the clock? Only downside is it is a slushbox. Otherwise original owner and very clean for a northeast car.
Man, it's hard to say! That's really low miles!
Hello Tyson and other Acura KA7/KA8 Legend owners in the US. As some of you may know there has been a second worldwide recall on cars re airbags. This now affects amongst other Japanese cars the Honda/Acura brand re the Takata NADI 5-AT airbag. This is not to be confused with an earlier recall a few yrs ago for another type of airbag. This new recall affects Legends between 1998 - 2000. Does anyone know the type of airbag used in the KA7/KA8 Legends between 1991-1995? Thanks
I'm not aware of any recall being placed on the 91-95 Legends, or what type of airbag they use. I'll see what I can find out.
Look forward to your reply thanks. My interest is purely academic as I wanted to see if the airbags used in the 91-95 Legends are the same as used in the 98-2000 Legends.
Honda here in Australia is currently limiting the recall to 1998, probably feeling that going back even earlier is not worth it as not many 91-95 Legends will be on the road anymore!
If it is the same airbag type we here in Australia have fitted in our 91-95 cars we may have the upcoming scenario where we may not be able to re-register the car, due to Honda being unwilling to fix.
Hello Tyson any news on the potential airbag issue affecting 'our' KA7 and 8 Legends in the US.? Here in Australia (and worldwide) there has been a second recall on cars fitted with a different type of faulty bag made by Takata ie a new problem on top of the old. It is now affecting KA9 models and they are being taken off the roads, made between 1998-2000. Regards Mark
I have a 93 Acura Vigor LS and it original and it has 96000km 60000 miles and no rust
That sounds like an awesome car!
Tyson Hugie it is
Has the car been in bubble wrap since 92? so clean
I know, I'm sad to see it go!
OMG that car is so beautiful
I hope it goes to a good home!
Wow wow , gosh I wish I had extra money, I love this car so much, funny when this was new I was all about modifying cars but now I love how stock it is, I wish it was possible for me to afford but 3 kids just make it not possible but I love that u want it to get driven and not just b a garage queen, happy for whoever gets it, if it ends up in Arkansas I’d love to detail it!!
Awesome, thanks Paul!
I have the Honda integra with the db8 addition 1993 it only goes fast when I take her to track
Nice! I haven't taken any of mine on a track in a while.
Wow. I definitely wouldn’t sell it. Especially given the reason you bought it. I’d keep it and take it to car shows or out on the weekends. At least you know you’ll care for it better than anyone else would. Hate it see a rare car trashed, crashed or stolen because you never know what kind of home it’s going to.
I know, this car (or at least a similar one with this body style) was the one that started it all for me. I really want it to go to a good home.
I got the same car a automatic doe same year but is a pain in the ass I got problems, with the main relay fuse, and something about the ECU I replaced the starter once and now it again mine has the twice the miles, the moon roof window I can't find it no where,
I hope you get it figured out!
I first thought; didn’t you JUsT Buy this? Dealer service it. Clean it for Hours? Then I realize, it Cost a Fortune to insure, maintain, etc so many cars. Something has got to go. I’m always on the fence about insuring my second car I never use more than 500 miles a year.. it’s like an extra400bucks every 6 months for my 92 GTI. I can’t imagine with so many! I love that gen Integra. I’m sure someone will take great care of it. Clearly you have.
Yes, it has taken a ton of effort to get this car. But I only drove it 300 miles last year and I have too many vehicles right now. When it was time to decide which to sell, I decided on the one that I drive the least.
I would buy this car in a heartbeat but I’m in Chicago unfortunately..
Montway offers shipping between Phoenix and Chicago for about $1,100. That's where my SLX came from.
Wow beautiful car I love the sedans... how much is it?
I'm asking $5,900 and there's a link in the description of the video to a blog post that has a gallery of 80 photos.
Why are the flashers on?
I was parked on the side of an active roadway.
So? Do you use your flashers every time you park lol? Why not park somewhere else than an "active roadway" if you're worried about people not seeing you walking around filming your car in the middle of the street?
@@halohunter5217 Haha who even cares? I was trying to make myself more visible in case anyone drove by, it's a relatively narrow road. I don't see why you even cared enough to comment on such an insignificant part of the video.
Lots of cute girls in college drove these integras
I didn't notice!
So many integras are beaten up I think well running unmodified ones supply is like a few thousand in the whole country.
I agree! So rare.
Excellent example 👏...if you ever decide to sell the agp GSR I am interested
Thanks, will do!
At least ask 9 thousand for that thing. At your price you risk a Dad buying it for his 16 year old. Trust me us teens ruin cars like no tomorrow (I destroyed the trans in my first car from racing around). Really this thing is super and so close to becoming a collectible.
A high school kid is coming to drive it today. Sadly it has been difficult to find anyone interested and I've had 2 buyers flake out.
She looks better then my wife
Haha hope your wife doesn't see the comment!
I’ll take it! How do I buy it
Send me an email. tysonhugie@yahoo.com
Did you end up buying it?
Mariano Hernandez no didn’t end up making it to the show
if I wasn't looking for a house I would so pick this up!
Too bad. I hope it goes to a good home!
❤️
Thanks for watching!
Tyson Hugie you literally have my Dream car man. I had to leave a like
Still available for sale?
Sold
Do you have another Acura for sale ?
The 90/91 steering wheel was so much nicer...
Haha yep, a lot of people think this one looks like a squid.
How much? What state are you in
$5,900 AZ
Tyson ,, Are you buying a 1993 Black GS ????????????????????????
Haha, not that I know of!
@@TysonHugie Hahahahahaha, I was hoping for that answer! I am trying to buy it . There any way I can send you the link in private. I am afraid of posting it here. I really, really want it. lol trying to do some kind of business with my current 90 Sedan GS and get the other one before someone else buys it. I would Love your opinion on it. Only you would appreciate the car as much as I do. Did you sell your Beauty yet????? Thanks, Arnaldo Narvaez P.S. Wanted a Vigor until I saw the ad for the 93 Integra Hahahahahaaha
Nice👍
Thank you!
So clean db1😭
Thank you! It went to a good home.
love it
Thanks for watching!
Price?
$5,900
Over price! It should be $2,000
I m thinking 3k is fair price.
How much?
$5,900 or best offer. There is a link in the video description that has all the info as well as how to contact me.
Can’t understand 4 door Integra?
I don't understand your comment.
Integra was ahead of its time. Today's Sports cars are 4door. A BMW 3 series today has a extremely similar shape of a 1990 - 93 Integra.
@@TysonHugie Thank You :)
Post it on bring a trailer! 5900 is a solid deal
Right, I think so too. I sold a similar car on BaT 2 years ago with 40k+ more miles and a lower trim level.
How much
I was asking $5,900 but it's pending sale.
Mint
It's pretty sweet for sure!
Omg I wish I could buy this.
Please do!
Wish I could afford this...
It's going to a good home
I miss semi pillar less sedans
It's a pretty cool look!
classic
Thanks for watching!
My second car only mine was cherry red.
Pretty much the same color I'm guessing.
4door means it's worth 1/4th
Maybe to some. It's actually a lot more rare than a 2 door.
I’ll take 5 of them
Sold!
Still beautiful why not just keep it
I only drove it 300 miles last year, it deserves more regular use.
Is it sold yet?
If you finally start a used car business, & don't call it "HUGIES HEROS" I'll be very disappointed!
Haha, thanks for the idea!
No....
..way. Tyson!
Haha, something has to go!
Bring a trailer man. It is worthy. The manual trans especially
It is like having a beautiful girlfriend but you hardly use her. LoL
Haha exactly!
Wowww what I would do to own this
Come and get it!
Will you trade for 2000 si clean tittle shell
Thanks for the offer!
I want
Come and get it.
I would pay 7 gs for this car , then I would strip the shit out of it and then start a tuner project. Haha lol.
Nice!
