- Hello everyone,
In this episode we meet Salas and his super clean Integra DA. Salas first fell in love with the import scene thanks to his brother and the fast and furious movie. Sounds familiar huh? Well, after stumbling on a couple of Hondas he ended up going to one one of his first loves, this beautiful milano red Integra hatch. He knew he wanted this car and he drove a bit of a distance for it. Now, he is able to build something that he was not able to back in his earlier years. You cant run that fender trim on the east coast. Shit will cause rust so so quick. It’s the first thing we remove. They don’t look bad tho. Super clean Da. Love it.
miss my Acura Integra back between 2000-2005 while in high school LS/vetec b18c5/B18a With Wire 5 speed transmission my car was all motor pushing like guesstimate 280-290hp to crank 250- 275whp with 9,000 Redline With All Parts 10,000rpm safe with jg eldorbrok intake manifold, str fuel rail, haimlian fuel pressure regulator, eclispe gsx injectiors, bbk 70mm throttle body full Aem cold air full Ported and polished GSR head with Bronze Valve Guides Stainless steel valves with 3 way angle job and dual springs, block girdle with 20 over type r pistons on eagle h beams rods, with stock crank knife edged motor fully balanced and blueprinted mugan header from Japan not Megan, kevlar tomi timing belt, type r cams, bigger oil pump with a aftermarket oil pan that held extra quart of oil, full 2.5 to 3 inch exhaust, apexi vetec controller first one and replaced with the 2nd version + much more I'm leaving out like racing clutch AND LIMITED SLIP DIFF all in a 1991-92 Integra RS hatch! WAS SWEET oh yeah engine made 11:1 compression high reving all motor
I put 5 years of my teen years into build every dime bought it $500 bent valves and my dad died when I was 17 and I lost my way doing drugs and depression until I went to the Marine Corps that I was able to get my life together and wish I had my car biggest regret ever
It's funny when I was growing up in late 90s, racing starting popping, Hondas and Acuras were being modified like crazy. I would of thought my parents said no honda or Acura because of racing but instead they insisted us to get a honda lol

I love this build! The car is clean and the dude kept it OEM as much as he can. Which I respect ✊🏽 also he has a very nice exhaust system very clean, and no fart can muffler 💨 double respect ✊🏽✊🏽 for that. All in all I can’t wait to see what he does next ✌🏼😁

People be sleeping on Federal Tires. I've had mine for over 2 years. They've survived multiple pot holes at speed, racing, hard cornering (Touge driving), and they also perform great in the wet.
Been running the tires for years man..they are great IMO

Good gosh this thing is beautiful. I love the floor mats. Seats look pretty good for an older car too. Oh and that gloss black & red combo is wonderful.

Shot out to Salas. Dude is personable and very knowledgeable while being super humble. His beginnings remind me a lot of myself. That red hit different on those DA's. Thing is gem. OEM + all the way. Honestly wouldn't change much if anything. Plus, the red/blue combination means he good no matter where he rolls through south central....

I got a 92 ls da in silver. I had a 93 ls da in milano red.
Edit: my 92 has no spoiler aswell but my 93 had the factory spoiler.

I love this Integra. The red looks perfect on it. One thing that stood out to me for some reason was the wheel well trim on the fenders. His looked super clean. I wonder if those are oem?
