Jay is an amazing guy. It's so cool you got to walk around his shop! I've never been but I know where it is, I used to work nearby and saw him around town several times. One time I saw him at In N Out with a 1914 Premier, I think it was that car he used brand new tech at the time to 3D scan the water pump and cast a replacement part.

What an honour to meet Jay!! And what an incredible nice Integra you have. Of course it does 800 miles flawlessly. It's Honda Quality and technology. Simply the best there is. Love your Videos!

Nice GS-R, I bought a 1992 aztec pearl back in the late 90's from my brother as a first car.. which almost resulted in me losing my license a few times. This car was surprisingly quick against the mustangs and camaros of the time and I hurt a lot of egos with it.. so fun and a true automotive unicorn.
Congratulations!! What an honor it must be to meet a legend ☺️ like Jay. Thanks for representing the enthusiast community. Can't wait to watch the episode 👏
I’m impressed you were able to keep this car so clean and original. I bought a ‘92 GSR that had 260kmiles that had seen better days but still drove phenomenally, caught 3rd on the test drive. As I kept it I replaced all warn out parts with aftermarket race parts. I had to swap the engine to a JDM B18c because I could not get replacement parts for the Uber rare 1.7… I couldn’t even get a replacement head gasket for that engine. Still a lovely car to drive…slow enough to not get me into trouble but fun still. I kept it due to what I put into it cost wise, I will never get back. I have an Antique tag and collector car insurance for $300 a year. I track it every now and again. Currently has 360k + miles. Parts include; Eigbach springs, Koni adjustable shocks, poly bushings, ACT stage II clutch, and all the normal bolt ons, carbon hood, swapped in the JDM one piece lights, and got authentic RAys gram light wheels. Dyno tuned with 160 WHP weighing approximately 2700 lbs. Again, props on an all original one. As I said…my car needed serious work when I got it 18 years ago…I tried to keep it tastefully modded.

Are you possibly thinking of the late Bob Einstein (commonly known for his character "Super Dave Osborne"). Seinfeld had Einstein on CICGC twice, one of them prominently featuring the NSX that Jerry teased him with. laughed harder at those two episodes featuring Einstein than any of the others in the series that Seinfeld aired.
@@denvernn If I remember things correctly, Einstein helped out with the very commercial you speak of. I'm sure that I'll watch that particular episode of CICGC again one of these days. (In all honesty, I'd much rather have Tyson's NSX.)

Brings back memories. A friend had one same year and color and options. Epic gsr. We had a ton of fun taking it to Florida and back and I loved those b17 engines. Very rare spec
Sweet ride man, these were pretty cool cars back in the day (still are) and I can’t tell you the last time I saw one on the road. A girlfriend of mine back in 2000 had a burgundy 1996 Integra either LS or GS. It was automatic unfortunately, but still pretty cool… I opened it up one night on the way to the beach. I remember after 110 mph it started struggling, but got it almost to 120 before I chickened out. After the first Fast and Furious movie came out they all got modded and chopped up. I love that 90s teal, and it’s a 5 speed!!! 😎
Wow!!! Awesome GS-R! I thank You Tube algorithm for suggesting your channel. Subscribed! You have a nice collection, and a well organized Garage (Auto House). Back in '99, I was looking for a Type R, Yellow, but the price range was a bit high for me at the time, still, would love to acquire one.
What an amazing experience that must have been!!!! I have this somewhat insane dream, to one-day ride my 1947 Honda Type-A across the country from PA to Jay Leno's garage.
As you showed the S600, I was reminded of a story. At a past S2000 Homecoming, some of the C local S2000 owners mentioned that they were on a canyon cruise, and met Jay. He had told them that heliked the looks of the S2000, but had never driven one. He then talked to them about his S600 rebuild that he had just finished at the time. Still surprised he doesn't have one in his collection.
Tyson - I love your channel! I’m a huge Acura fan, especially the models from the 90s. Do you ever take your cars to any of the local car shows? I’d love to see some.
I used to see your type II Legend around Scottsdale and other parts of the valley, years ago. I had a 05 Aspec TL 6 mt and RSX TypeS. I was in the scene 99-2006
That's awesome. Yep that car was my daily driver during that time. I remember getting a thumbs up on the 101 freeway in Scottsdale from someone in a TL, maybe it was you.
Jeeez Tyson props for the whole experience but sheesh! You just casually glanced over the 20+ million dollar mcclaren f1… I would’ve been fanboying all over that car lol
Very much looking forward to this episode. I love Jay Leno and his collection is obviously very impressive. But at the same time, he basically has unlimited resources to make that happen. In many ways, I think your auto and swag collection is more impressive, as a guy of "normal" means. And of course, happy to see the GS-R did so well!
My first car was a 1995 GS-R (bought it used with 42k miles when I turned 18 in 1999) and I wish I still had it. Such a fun car. It was similar to your color. Teal.
Oh.Em.Gee! My face as I watched this! I had to pick my jaw up from my desk a couple times. Are all the car hoods not latched so that the engines can be viewed more easily? At times I wasn’t sure if we were seeing YOUR garage or Jay’s! He has an extensive poster and diecast model cars collection and appears to have filled his ‘garage’ to capacity. I wonder if Mavis (his wife) gets to have her pick of those cars to drive to the grocery store…. oh, and smooth move on getting the silver Sharpie sig! Bravo to all of it!

Seinfeld had Einstein on CICGC twice, one of them prominently featuring the NSX that Jerry teased him with. laughed harder at those two episodes featuring Einstein than any of the others in the series that Seinfeld aired.
@@VirtualGuth Interesting. I will look that episode up. Thanks. The Seinfeld and Leno NSX I was eluding to, was a super bowl commercial.
@@denvernn If I remember things correctly, Einstein helped out with the very commercial you speak of. I'm sure that I'll watch that particular episode of CICGC again one of these days. (In all honesty, I'd much rather have Tyson's NSX.)
So awesome ! what an opportunity!
I know, it was an honor!
Jay Leno is one of the best dudes in the World, that he’s a car guy extraordinaire is a plus. That you got to spend time with him Tyson is a tribute to your passion for cars. Good for you!
Thanks Brian! It was an honor to be a part of this!
Congrats Lenos Garage, your big time now :-)million subs coming soon
Haha thanks, not so sure about that!
Great vid, Tyson! Love that GSR!
Thank you! Me too :)
Cool to see Jays collection. And Acura looks awesome.
Thanks Rob!
@@TysonHugie Your welcome
How cool man!!!
Thanks Pete, I know, it was an honor to be part of the experience!
Brings back memories. A friend had one same year and color and options. Epic gsr. We had a ton of fun taking it to Florida and back and I loved those b17 engines. Very rare spec
Agreed, thanks!
You Lucky guy! That's awesome Tyson! Definitely want to go there one day. Jay seems like a down to earth guy
He really is, and I'm glad I got to spend some time with him!
Oh snap, congrats on the feature 😅! I can only imagine that experience bro & your GSR is pristine 🔥
Thanks Scott!
Haha yes verrrrry 90s period correct!
thats dope man, thanks for showing us the BTS
You bet, thanks for coming along
Thanks for subscribing!
What an amazing experience that must have been!!!!
I have this somewhat insane dream, to one-day ride my 1947 Honda Type-A across the country from PA to Jay Leno's garage.
That would be awesome!
I was scared it wouldn't be there in the morning.🥴 love the unsupervised visit part of the garage. I never heard about the S600. Love the NSX😍
Thank you Levonn!
@@TysonHugie I got to see your car at Tempe Acura today along with the new Integra Aspec in blue😍
Whoa, it's already up! Very cool, Tyson 😊
Woohoo, thanks Matt!
I truly love the Acura Legend you have!! Especially the white one as my parents had an ‘87 Legend Coupe!
Yes! The white coupe is sold and actually is headed to its new home in Denver as of today.
Wow what a insane collaboration
Definitely wish I had more time to soak it all in!
That was so awesome , I'am a little jealous
Thanks Adam!
I am too! He did have that little diecast car, but he needs the real deal!
This was my dream car back in the day, but simply couldn’t afford. Thanks for sharing 😎👍🏻
My pleasure!
Why didn’t I get you to sign my dash when I had you in my garage? Can’t wait to see the episode. So jacked you had this experience.
Haha, now I'll always remember to carry a silver Sharpie! Thanks Rick
I owned a 92 GS-R.But mine was red.
Greatest car I ever owned.
Thanks for the memories!
I still have the original brochure from the dealer.Your car is in it.
Awesome. They are great cars for sure! I think I have that same brochure.
You're a lucky guy getting to go there and see that!
It was awesome!
Tyson - I love your channel! I’m a huge Acura fan, especially the models from the 90s. Do you ever take your cars to any of the local car shows? I’d love to see some.
I do! I try and drive / show all the cars regularly. If you’re local in PHX send me an email and you can stop by sometime
What an achievement! Can't wait to watch the show!
Me too, thanks for coming along!
Really cool man! Congratulations
Thanks Kadafi
I used to see your type II Legend around Scottsdale and other parts of the valley, years ago. I had a 05 Aspec TL 6 mt and RSX TypeS. I was in the scene 99-2006
Always recognize that 6speed plate
That's awesome. Yep that car was my daily driver during that time. I remember getting a thumbs up on the 101 freeway in Scottsdale from someone in a TL, maybe it was you.
What a cool thing to be invited to do, Hugie/Tyson/Mr. 👏🏻
That's my name, don't wear it out! :)
Fellow Honda nut here (S2000 and Civic SI).. loved this!
Awesome, thanks Fred! Nice rides!
Car at the 8:30 time stamp ?
BMW M1
Jeeez Tyson props for the whole experience but sheesh! You just casually glanced over the 20+ million dollar mcclaren f1… I would’ve been fanboying all over that car lol
Haha I was in a daze all day!
One impressive collection.
It really is!
Yes! I'll keep you posted when I hear about the episode airing - and hopefully they include lots of positive commentary on the GS-R!
My first car was a 1995 GS-R (bought it used with 42k miles when I turned 18 in 1999) and I wish I still had it. Such a fun car. It was similar to your color. Teal.
That’s awesome. They are fun cars even today
Thanks for tuning in!
Gorgeous Car, loving that Color!!!!!
Thank you!
Nice!! Lucky dude and sweet ride. Here Jay is humble
He is! Thank you
