I was saying the same exact thing just now. Each episode I was thinking had to of had a million views each. And I look and only 7,000 views. He did really good on this series.

Props to the truck driver. People really dont understand how much they sacrafice just to get all of us what we need. We get our needs and they lose time they can never get back because there always providing. Wish that man the best
The algorithm really needs to pick this video(and channel) up. Gosh, this is so interesting and brave on both parts. To see that people still take chances on each other is so inspiring and refreshing to see!
As a person with an extremely short attention span, your videos inherit some type of power to keep me engaged. Not very often I find a series on youtube I enjoy. I don't even live in America, but i loving this series..
The guy who drove to Sudbury had a very Heavy Canadian accent! I love that. I've lived in Boston, New Mexico, Utah, Wisconsin, and Maryland... so Ive heard all the hardcore accents from Canada/USA, and it never gets old to me.
Thank you for your channel and commitment to seeking connection with strangers. Please keep sharing your story and those of others with the world. I love seeing Canada and the greatness of its people shine through your videos!!!

Brad this is absolutely incredible. Seeing you pass through my hometown and recognizing landmarks that I've grown up around warms my heart. I hope you really enjoyed this journey!
8:25 literally story of my life!! At one point he was gone for 2 weeks, and then home for 2 weeks, but that didnt last long, he would only get a few days home in a month, and there was even one time where he lived in another city for a YEAR!! Because we were really struggling with money, and we needed it, so he did what he had to do😔 it's sad, its like I didnt even have a father for almost my entire childhood, so I have a lot of sympathy that family, cause I know it sucks.
What's crazy watching this as an American is the fact that on a major highway you can ride your bike on the shoulder. Also your positivity is infectious. In todays world not everyone has malice intentions good on you man. needed
this episode give me tears in my eyes , as my dad was a story teller aswell , and all the kids that my brother ,sister and me did play with allways did see my mom and dad as xtra parents . and 15 feb it is 8 years since we lost him
I was about 11 when my dad picked up a "hitchhicker.". We were all in the car; dad, mom, myself & my kid brother. She had broken down on the way to her sister's wedding. We took her all the way to the church. My dad wanted to make sure she was safe...and she was :)
I’m from Sudbury your channels awesome man wish I woulda found it a couple years ago woulda been more then happy to help you out keep up the good work!
Also, I went about 4,000 miles on this last Adventure and camped 90% of the time. You really should consider having a nomad bag. And gorilla Camp just about anywhere. I never got in trouble but was asked to leave probably seven places. Had interactions with 10 or 15 cops but never got in trouble only asked to move or get off the highway or get out of their jurisdiction. In one of my next videos I will be sharing what's in my nomad bag. I never worry about where I'm going to sleep that night. Sorry for babbling lol. But there's something so liberating about having everything you need to sustain yourself for long periods of time in one bag 👍🤘🤙
Yeah -- I'm kind of wondering if he's ever going to camp out?? Keeps getting rescued by friends and other people from the internet :D Edit: Oh man, ok he tried but didn't know how to set up his hammock lol
@@joeomundson haha! Yeah man... you might like my show " Nomadic TWIST Adventures " haven't posted in a while but have an archive of that kind of travel footage I'm working with... check out the season 1 trailer first... on the road stuff starts on ep 11.... NOMADIC TWIST
The drive through Ontario to Manitoba is horrible. And terrifying. I definitely did it in the middle November the first time and it was blizzarding on and off so it was slippery af. It's all winding roads and ups and downs. If you skidded off the road one of like three things would happen. Crash directly into a rock mountain hill thing, drive right into a lake, or in the high up areas, drive into the tree tops. And those trees went a long way down. When you get stuck behind a semi in rain or snow it all just shoots from under the truck wheels and onto your windshield. At it was just not a safe feeling drive as there are no lights other than your headlights which don't cut through the thick darkness too well. A lot of Truckers seem to sleep during the day when the highway is busier and drive at night when roads are dead and they drive aggressively.. they know the roads well and can handle their big trucks in the dark going away over any speed limit. My husband didnt know the roads at all, and the snow made it even harder to see In the dark and you have to worry about animals crossing the road. I was sure a moose or deer or bear was goona run across the road and we would lose control in the snow and die in a lake or bottom of a forest. I was terrified and we had all 3 of my cats with us.I told my husband that I didn't care where but we were finding whatever hotel we could and were stopping until the sun was up. Thank god my cell had service .I Google and found the closest motel was about 45mins to 1 hour away. I called and check in closed in 5 mins and the the chick would be locking up and going home. I explained the situation and how long it would take us to get there and she said as long as I paid for the room right then she would hide the room key outside for me before she left. That chick was my hero that night. Ive since had to do that drive back and forth between Toronto and Winnipeg about 10 times. A few times on the Greyhound, mostly by car and one on the train. And I'll never do it again.
I'm from Kingston, ON aswell! Not sure how I found your channel, but I am glad that I did. I binged watched the first 3 episodes of your series and loved the adventure. Keep up the great content man, would love to tag along with you one day!
Well done man! "Beautiful chaos" is what I call the randomness of traveling and pudding ourselves out there like this. I'm in the process of hitchhiking all 50 states in the U.S. after working at a desk for 11 years of my life... I need to take some tips from you on interviewing people. I've got six months of footage to edit and I'm realizing I didn't interview people enough... check out my season 1 trailer. Maybe we'll meet up on the road someday.
Yeah I think that was one of the best parts about hitchhiking that people usually skip out on when filming hitchhiking! So that was my main focus for this series was the interactions with the people I met. I'm excited to see some of your trip from hitchhiking the states 🤙🏼
I completely agree and had planned on it early on but for some reason I realize I'm uncomfortable filming people and putting them on the spot. Which probably stems from my mother yelling at me every time I tried to film her as a kid LOL ...And people pick up on that lack of confidence with the camera. I interviewed plenty of people but not with the quality yours do. I plan to put more effort into this soon because there's such amazing conversations that I never catch or that die out as soon as I press record.👍🤘🤙
I've been saying for years now that truck drivers are the backbone of every economy. Because if they quit for even a week, everyone with start to go without.
I doubt you'd ever see this, but I was raised in Kingston too! That's actually crazy haha. I moved out to Saskatoon this year, but I can't believe you were out of Kingston as well!
1:02 I agree with him about hitchhiking. The media paints with a broad brush and makes it seem like it's dangerous to pick up hitchhikers. We always hear about hitchhikers getting killed because it's newsworthy, not realizing that it's unlikely statistically. It's probably more dangerous to drive on a freeway than it is to pick up a hitchhiker.
it is illegal to hitch hike on the 400 series highways but if you are at the bottom of the ramps you are usually ok. There are highways in BC where it is illegal to hitch hike and some I believe outside of Calgary where it is illegal to pick up hitchhikers now....Wawa IS Hitchhiker Hell I got stuck there overnight and slept in the bush until morning and started again

It is legal to hitchhike on any two lane road in Ontario. No 400 series highways but legal to hike on the ramp before the 'no pedestrian' sign. Here is the loophole. In the law roadway is described as the area of conveyance except the shoulder. Highway includes the shoulder. It is illegal to solicit a ride from any roadway. See my point? As long as you allow plenty of shoulder for a car to completely leave the roadway and you are facing the flow of traffic it's legal.
Yeah I eventually figured that loophole out near the end of the trip 😝 Had two interactions with cops during the drip and both were surprisingly good !
I would definitely pick you up bro as long as you were hella sweaty tbh. Im quite obsessive about cleanliness of the assets I occupy.😂 but if you had a towel to sit on that would negate the sweatiness as long as you didn’t touch anything.
