Best sounding guitar I've ever heard on this show.
Lemmo goin’ off tonight. He was in the zone. These ES’s are flame throwers!
Epic guitar. And the playing is world class. Can’t think of anyone better.
You can argue about nature vs nurture till the cows come home, & undoubtedly Mr. Lemmoe has practised his arse off, but this lad was born to play!!!! Music for the ears & art for the eyes - top job!!!
Hope Greg can do a tribute to ZZ Top bassist Dusty Hill who passed today, on thumpin' Thursday tomorrow.
Maybe a MK1 precision or telecaster bass could work well.
What!?!?!? 😞
They are on tour. I guess he's had a hip issue and went back home for a bit while his tech, Elwood Francis (?) took his spot for a bit. Saying he died in his sleep. Sounds like maybe an OD on pills if he was in a lot of pain, or maybe he just decided it was time. Big loss. What a giant of a band they've been for decades. My best friend in high school committed suicide - ZZ Top was his favorite band. Lot of memories when hearing them.
Just read that sad day for the blues
RIP
Micheal Lemmo, I don't think you may read this comment but I am a 64 year old man from South Africa and I don't know if many people will agree with me but I have to say that in my life time I have never seen a person so in touch with a guitar as you are. I personally rate you as the best guitar player currently in the world. I love your VanHalen renditions and covers, sorry bud but you are the very best ever. I've been around for a while. Love and safe wishes from South Africa.
Just shred! Nothing sounds like PAFs on a 335. What a treat to hear ML shred on a vintage guitar with so much vibe. Love the Clapton tribute and all the creative Lemmo mojo. Nice capture Jen and thanks for bringing us GOTD each and every day.
Brings back great memories. Thanks Michael.
Lemmo in the ZONE! Beautiful.
That thing will sell in a second if it hasn’t already. Would have loved to hear some jazzy sounds on the neck pup just to show what it can do.
And me!
It’s hard not to agree with that.
I think I just Cream'ed my 🤔. Lemmo was killing it on that Gibson. For us living in Canada, we were raised on Alex Lifeson and his ES. Good times indeed.
Plenty of us American boys grew up on Rush too.
Lemmo and the guitar were both on fire today!!!!
You said you don't think it'll ever get old. I was born in the same year that guitar was made. If I win the lottery tonight will you please keep that guitar for me?
It was a very good year !
BEST Guitar of the day in awhile !!! Well done!! Excellent playing !!!
Awesome video. Best ever. Will be hitting the replay on this one a couple hundred times
unbelievable! no words can describe this monster guitar and monster player! amazing show ML and Jen
Cherry red is the best color on these guitars!! Not the mention PAF's!!!!! lol .
Yeah man the red on that for sure🤘🏼
what about the Blueberry burst, I always liked that color on these 335's
Hell yeah man, especially in person! Red like this is so damn gorgeous! So bright, nostalgic, and clean. 😎🤘
That was fantastic. Enjoyed it immensely.
Unbelievable sound and playing!! 🤩 amazing!
Sweet Jebus Michael, you blew the roof of Norman's with that set! Scorching...... That guitar is already SOLD I bet.
Lemmo plays with so much of his own flavor when doing a demo but when he decides to give us a classic it's such a treat!!!!!! Said it before and so has everyone else but "Glad you are here!!!!"
Lemmo tore it up. Well done sir.
WOW ! It sounds as perfect as it looks ... .. . .. .. .. .. ... . ...... ..
Loved the Cream stuff Lemmo, Yeah man started with a lasting sunshine ☀️ of Your Love!!! That was blazin!!!
Another Lemmo rockstar performance.
Never miss your posts. Thanks, Man
Another beauty.......sounds great!
What a fab guitar 🔥🔥
Holy cow, that was totally insane Lemmo, freaking insane man . Beautiful rig , but man that was insane . If my volume had an 11 on it I be trying to get 15 .
Just 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯!! Lemmo is a freaking beast!!!
This was a smokin'' good one...you really got me !!
Damn .... holy crap .... plain bad ass ... u continue to amaze me bro ... .. love this channel...😎
Lemmo is always killing it but sometimes he is killing it with fire.
Sounds amazing
Some tasty tunes! Thanks for the Cream!!
Norm please realize what a talent you have on staff. Great Michael.
I was expecting clean tones so much but your playing was stellar Mike
WOOOB WOOOOB
Changed my mind about 335’s. A great guitar player can do that. Wow.
Awesome cover on Sunshine of Your Love by Clapton Lemmo! Very cool!
mr lemo the best playing from you ive heard and on my fav too the 335 . fab.
That sounded great. Love an es 335
my favorite player ever...
Lemmo ON FIRE 🔥
God damn what a sound
Wow, 5 stars, was that possibly the best GOTD ever? Up there with Agnesi and the Billy Gibbons Broadcaster
Proof that every guitar player has to randomly break into Iron Man once in a while.
Great Stuff.......had a 67 Epiphone MIJ many years ago....wish I kept.
Wow that guitar sings
This is the one.
LC's SB is cool but this is it.
Actually like the neck 'wear'.
haven't seen this in years.
Agreed, it's been loved.
Rock on! 🤟😁
I love that I can hear traces of Eddie Van Halen’s tone in the bridge pickup even though the amp doesn’t seem to be the same or if it is, the settings aren’t the same. It’s that sharp, crass, clean distortion (minus the heavy reverb getting in the way; I love reverb, don’t get me wrong but Eddie’s reverb was panned right while normal signal left if in stereo).
Id love to visit someday.
My Memphis 2017 cherry 335 is really a great guitar. You can hear similarities in tone for sure.
Love 335's. They are the Swiss Army Knives of guitars.
WoW
Nice work Lemmo Cream and Sabbath you were shredding today
Nice jammin man, that thing is a fn harmonic monster and still has the chunk too. Very cool :)
🏅👍 awesome 😎
This guitar is one of my favourite dream guitar and in my country the price is fantastic for my kind because i only have a $66 guitar, gibson guitars all awesome
Lemmo is a beast!
The sunshine of your love.
Lemmo said “The Clean ones can be Stiff”
Love my Murphy lab 335 so much but their is always room for another
WOOOHOOOO is Right!
Do you think you guys can also show the amp lemmo’s playing with each Guitar of the Day? I think everyone would love to see the beauty he’s playing through each time! Just a suggestion though, we love you Norman’s Rare Guitars!!!!
Nice. I was playing my 345 today, but certainly not as well as that.
wow.
Lemmo u just a killer guitar player was going back threw watching a bunch some old EVH utube videos couple hrs before this come on thought of u
❤
Okay, I clicked like. But HOLY SHIT! Thanks for the inspired playing man.
I remember the Alex lifeson's 335 he use in First álbuns
Michael Lemmo is terrific. One day last week he plays like Eddie Van Halen, today he is channeling "Slow Hand" Clapton. He is so much fun to watch & listen to!
Superb Lemmo!
woah dude!
Lemmo weaponises 6 strings - again, and has to apologise to Jen.....!
But, nicely done, sir.
I have a real problem with your playing today, Lemmo…YOU STOPPED!!!!
same! why would he?!
Damm!!! How loud is it in Norm’s!!! It seemed like you were mouthing your words! Hahahaha!! Rock on brother!!!!!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘
Holy shit! Lemmo at his best. Like he was inhabited by the ghost of EVH?!? That guitar sounds unbelievably bitchin...
Request I’m coming home on a 335 is epic good sounds n great playing Lemmo Jen could you remind him next time 😍 Thanking you in advance 🖖😆🖖🌹☮️
I remember going to party in the early 70's and a fellow there showed me his red 335 and let me play it. About 4 hours later, I had probably completely destroyed his strings. Possibly the most comfortable guitar to play sittin' on the couch. A few years later I had a 68 SB one and frankly didn't like it that much playing in a bar band.
Yeah Cream rockt. THX
Nice
🤘🏼
Nice jacket dude
Great Jam, Great Guitar...Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :)
Cherry Hi Jen
You weren't kiddin' when you said it was versatile!
I normally never comment but jezus christ Lemmo, that playing was insane.. (and there's a reason I wrote Lemmo with a capital letter and the other dude without...) 😉
ES Wednesday
Killin it with Clapton! Thanks.
Michael, what's your opinion on VH 3?
Breakin' out the heavy Cream!
This sounds amazing!! Name of the second song he played?
„Crossroads“ in Cream style
Why is the stop block bridge more desirable than the trapeze bridge?
? Dear Michael Lemmo, next time you break out a 335, how about a little "Stepping Out" from the John Mayal and the Bluesbreakers ?
I wish normans guitar store give some give away guitar for me
8:49 he activated star power.
What do you use to play pedal?
Talk about leaving Mark A. ES-335 videos in the dust.
So how exactly does he get that feedback sound at 8:26? Is it just about controlling that tone knob, or is there something going on with the left hand as well?
Natural feedback from the hollowbody I bet
loud amp
