How sweet do black 335s look? I think it's an underrated finish.

I have a '64 just like this (2021 Custom Shop), the neck is phenomenal. It's chunky and full without being too big. Very, very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Those high notes on the bridge pickup on the 64 is why the 335 is the best guitar of all time

Very nice 335’s but wow, your guitar playing mastery especially your blues riffs would make Eric Clapton sit up and take notice! You’ve got it bro 👍 I live in the Daytona Beach area and definitely want to get to South FL and check out the store. Thanks for the videos! 😃

Sem tocar os mesmos riffs nas duas fica difícil perceber se há diferença mas me parece que a 59 tem mais brilho.

I've got a 59 and honestly would like to sell. My 2005 with 57 classics gets played and gigged all the time. In the end it boils down to 2 very important things. Tone and playability. Bringing a custom shop to a gig never turned me in to Super star nor did the outcome of a gig become magically different. They are beautiful no doubt but craftmanship doesn't change the individual. Its still an instrument with 6 strings, 2 pickups, and a human being.

I have played all three - 59 is the fattest, 61 is the slimmest and 64 is in between them. But the playing feel is quite different among these. To each its own!

So the memphis historic spec 59 neck and the true historic 59 neck were not historic or true enough so now we have the authentic 59 neck ? Gibson was telling us for the last several years that all
the reissue necks were based on scans of the originals so why are they trying to pass this process off as a new thing when its not or are they telling US they were not actually doing the scans of original 50s and 60s neck profiles all allong ?
Its rather silly to scan 1 59 neck and say this the historically accurate 59 neck when they were all wildly different from one neck to the next. Those vintage necks were all carved and profiled completelh by hand . The necks very in thckness and profile alot

Hi there! Gibson underwent some exciting changes in 2019 when a new owner group stepped in after a bit of a financial rollercoaster. They decided to shake things up by dismantling the Memphis factory and shifting production to the USA and Custom Shop factory.
Now, with the fresh management at Gibson's helm, they've given many models a makeover to match the expectations of their new leaders. They've tinkered with the nomenclature and introduced new vintage role-model specimens that paved the way for their new line of reissues. So, worrying about whether old reissues were vintage-accurate? Not a concern with the current production.
Let's give credit where it's due - Gibson deserves a a lot of credit for crafting excellent instruments over the past four years. Seriously, these babies could give their golden years a run for their money, especially the Custom Shop models in the ES line.
We totally get it - vintage instruments varied quite a bit, and no two necks were carved the same. But check this out: the current lineup from Gibson? Consistency is the name of the game. Now you can shop for your dream guitar with confidence, without that "shot in the dark" feeling that sometimes comes with vintage gear.
Sure, vintage instruments had their quirks, but hey, these new Gibson guitars are absolute rockstars. People are loving them, and we think you might too!

1959 more airy, it will intereting if u test with fingerstyle
1964 more full, very clapton cream tone
I think the bridge play major role

Just because he morphed into the style of Eric Clapton doesn't mean it's the guitar itself.
