I’ve been debating on buying this bike for quite a few months even with all the stuff going on. It’s really hard for me to make a decision between this particular motorcycle and a 2018 R1M both brand new. But I will say that this review is excellent it’s rare to find people that describe things as good as this.
The anti-lift for this bike is for the rear wheel to not come up under really heavy breaking working with the ABS, not to be confused with anti-wheelie. This bike does take some effort for the front wheel to come up and will be hard to loop.
I really like the bike, dreaming one of that someday. Anyway what camera are you using? Also mic. Im gonna be blogging and pranking soon! Shout out here from philippines whooooo!
It's a good beginner bike in rain mode. But the question is do want to start with a 16k bike as a beginner bike! Better start with a cheap 250 and learn first.
Probably not. If you're new to bikes I'd stick with a used 600cc sportbike to get your feet wet. Then if you can justify the cost of a new Ducati, and enjoy riding. Check one of these out
I feel like this may be my upgrade from my Honda CBR500r, don't want to jump straight to a supersport and 150hp sounds like a pretty good number for a sports bike
My first bike was a 13’ cbr500, then 09’ cbr600rr, and I just bought a 19’ 959. This is an extremely big jump from the 500. If you push that little bike you can be fully wrapped on the throttle at times. With the Panigale you’ll never be fully wrapped without running out of Road first. If you feel you’re skilled enough and have some self control, then go for it.
This is my first bike. I just got it yesterday, a brand new 2019. Day 2 of tryna figure it out. I don’t think that I’m shifting correctly. U were goin through those gears quick. It is super uncomfortable. Idk if it’s cuz u have gloves but the grips on the handles hurt after a while. And there’s no fuel gauge...
Randy Flores; No, I managed to not get killed when I got it and I ended up driving at night during traffic hour. The shifting is the same as any other bike, I guess. It’s true about barely pressing the clutch all the way in. Just having the hand coordination when it comes time to shifting is all. It’s gonna be rough when it gets warmer cuz u feel the heat from motor. The heat feels nice right now cuz it’s cold but a couple days ago, when it was pushin 70ish degrees outside, I was a little moist when I got off...
The riding posture has you putting most of your weight on your wrists. The 959 isn’t meant for casual rides where you’re riding straight up (not tucked). It’s meant for you to hug your tank.
I'm 5'6 and a newer rider... I can only get my tip of my toes mostly done. But it's cool otherwise but as a new rider it does make me nervous at stops lol. Like look at that guy over there I bet he is a new rider lol
I'm not even close to changing the mode from wet I take it out early in the morning like on a Sunday at 3an. I live in houston way to much aggressive drivers and traffic.

It does not have auto blipper on the down shift. Poor transmission. Definitely know your information before you do a motorcycle review, let alone a Ducati review.

Looks like I wrote the HP wrong as it is 150 and not 105, sorry for that.
Jesus fuck, that’s just the beginning of what you got wrong, you moron!!!

What a great way to read the sales brochure.
This is the Best Ducati 959 review on RUclips
I appreciate that!
Not sure what I want - Yamaha R6 or Ducati 959
959 for me, It's a lot more comfortable, a bit faster aswell

I am buying this bike in the next few months. Can’t wait.
Nice! Ducati's are definitely fun bikes!
Nice bike.. looks like fun to ride with the quick shift !! 😎😎
Yeah these Ducatis are awesome!

What’s that plastic looking container with something orange in it? What is that
That's the brake fluid reservoir for the front brakes! Every bike has that!
It's a gorgeous bike, definitely more than qualifies as a second bike :D
Hey did you feel any heat issues? That seems to be the biggest issue with Panigale? And what mode were you riding in?
It's not that bad
Great review...Can you to a review of a 2017 R1m? Or have you?

Yeah I think the R3 and CBR250 are perfect for beginners. Then get up to a 600, then to the 1000
@Private Privacy you are so out of touch with reality its hilarious.
This bike is only $13,000 USD, as equipped in this video on eBay brand new right now 0 miles
A new rider probably won't want that insurance payment with it.
I’m going to buy this bike it will be my first bike I’m so excited for it
Is that the alpinestars session jacket?
It's one of the TGP style Alpinestars jackets. I think this is a discontinued one. But can't remember. I've had it 3 years. It's a summer mesh jacket
do you recommend this for someone who is new to bikes as a first bike?
Probably not. If you're new to bikes I'd stick with a used 600cc sportbike to get your feet wet. Then if you can justify the cost of a new Ducati, and enjoy riding. Check one of these out
@BrosFOURRSpeed wrong info bro bro. It was my first bike just keep it in wet mode which is basically a 600cc bike
Pull the trigger... it was my first bike and I ride it only in wet mode
I feel like this may be my upgrade from my Honda CBR500r, don't want to jump straight to a supersport and 150hp sounds like a pretty good number for a sports bike

Hello peeps, bike noob here. Does this come with a steering damper to avoid wobbles? I can't find any info online on it
I believe it was built in so it was hidden behind the gas tank.
Yes it does.
Dream bike
Oh yeah!
why ducati got much cc with less torque and power compared to japanese 1000cc counter part?
This is not a liter bike so why are you comparing it to 1000cc? You want power? Try the panigale v4

Randy Flores be careful and learn to ride it in wet mode then sport mode dont go race mode before mastering it
This ass hat doesn’t know what he’s talking about!
How tall are you? Me being 5ft 4 i thought this would be one of the easier bikes for shorter riders. Is that true?
This bike has a seat height of 32.7 inch, so if your leg inseam is 30 inch above, your fine with it.

so does the anti-lift feature keep the front of the bike down or does it keep the back of the bike down. confused
