I own one of your v4S and thanks so much for the absolutely brilliant bike. It is a beautiful machine that sounds orgasmic, rides and handles so amazing I just can’t articulate the words necessary for the magic performance. I’m a six foot five big boy and that bike is just so comfortable to ride on a long distance gallivant and just amazing for all out performance. Master piece. I’m used to the magic of safety electronics from cars like the corvette z06 or zr1, or Porsche, but man have you all made the same kind of controlled insanity with the v4S and midrange application like the 959S.
A guy who actually wrings out the bike when in Review, thank fucking god. Getting tired of the ~20% throttle "i'm breaking it in" evaluations from others.
+44Teeth yeah really enjoyed that! i really appreciate all the effort that has gone into the making of these vids aswell as the channel AND the website!
+Tomas Thornton I hope the channel goes well because I think the Baron/Fagan mix works very well and I'd like to see a shit load of bikes being reviewed. New and old, sports and tourers. The Chinese 125 video was bloody good as well.
love this kind of testing video. For me it always feels more real to see someone riding a bike an talking about it than simply answerig questions about a bike he has been on 1 week ago... anyway...amazing video. Hope the channel grows as much as I think it will in the near futur. cheers
Looks really professionally put together - the music with the voiced bits at the beginning and the end was a nice touch, and the editing for the 44 teeth intro and outro is so smooth and slick. Great work Baron :)
Just wanted to say, that you guys (44T & Baron), along with other motovloggers and websites have really fueled my love for bikes, and I went and bought my first helmet today, will be taking the safety course in the next few weeks, and then a bike. So thank you for your love of motorcycles that has fueled my love for motorcycles to the breaking point where I just have to go and do it.
Love the videos. I feel like I can trust your reviews more than the other channels (i.e. MCN, motousa), and definitely more entertaining! Hope 2016 brings big things for 44Teeth!
I must say, this review/first test was probably one of the most professional you have done. Totally different feeling from ones you have done before and on the other channel. Keep it up looking forward to more from this bike .
I love the fact you did it on a frigid January day. Really, if you're talking about the utility of a bike, that's perfectly realistic. Anybody can haul a bike around on a commute on a dry summer morning, but you've got to be able to do it when you're wiping frost off the windscreen. I really like your presentation tone, BVG. It works.
Ive just bought a 959 after viewing this vid, the panigale was always a bike i considered.... And i absolutely love it...... I wanted a good bike for the road, its cornering ability is sublime, as you say makes you look good..... It just feels so good underneath you....
I've live in one of the wettest parts of Australia, I love riding in the wet across the elevated Atherton Tablelands on little country lanes where no one else really wants to go. It's really good to see you test bikes in wet weather conditions mate...good on ya.
Let the vids I have just bought a 959 and part of my desicion was based on the reviews on here and I must say that yours in the wet conditions of this video swung it for me,and I must say what a machine loving it ,love your honesty on here not biased at all keep up the great work with the reviews and vids jon.
Mike Smith hia I love the looks of the single sided swingarm and the underslung exhausts on the 1299 but to be honest with you I couldn’t afford a 1299 in as good As condition of my 959 and as for power I think the 1299 would be too much for me just my opinion I love the 959 just enough for me without been too scary but each to there own it suits me but would I buy a 1299 maybe in a fit of madness lol but each to there own I’ll stick with the 959 plenty of power for me
Eye contact! Nice one C. Great to see you're expressions. Your identity is hardly a secret nowadays, so it's good to see the person who is behind the camera.
Great start to the year Baron, hope this year will be a lot less stressful for you.Keep the good work coming mate, always good to see an upload from you 👍🏻😎
Wow, You were pinning it in that conditions. Also that exhaust note above blurred RPM, it's like it hits VTEC but is less gay. Great work. The 44th will conquer the world of motorcycle journalism in 2016.
I learned about this channel from your other one...and subscribed...great job keep it up. I appreciate your honesty and impressions on your bike reviews...
We want more videos this year! Seriously, 44teeth & BvG... 🐢 I always enjoy watching an honest review rather than boring number reading in front of a camera and a badge of "motorcycle magazine" in the bottom right corner. (especially in the winter 😢) P. S. I miss summer.
Baron. I sense a move towards a full unveiling. Seeing more of your face makes the vids more 'personal' and a big step forwards. I commend you for it and hope to see more of you in the future
+UKRR yeah - its got to point where it really limits the content we can make if i (BvG) have to constantly be wearing a helmet or blurring etc. And for interviews its just plain rude. So, watch this space....
Finally I can put a face (well a part of it) to the voice. Super job on all your videos and general banter. Well done and keep up a good job. Would love to meet up but I think my 125cc will put me to shame. But GS Adventure is a plan for a near future.
It's been told before but.... i do really like the 44 Teeth stuff and the combo with Allister is Briljant!! i do read a lot of motorbike stuff magazines testing etc etc on a daily basis as being a motorcycle mechenic in the Netherlands and i think it is one of the best i've seen for ages !!! The fast bikes vids where briljant at it;s time also but this is a whole new level!! keep up the good work!!!! greetz from the Netherlands . Dirk
I test rode one of these today. To put that into perspective, the only bikes I have ever owned are two G1 ZX6Rs. What a machine! Trouble is, I have nothing comparable to compare it with. So anything modern is going to feel fantastic compared to my trusty G1 Ninja. I guess I'll have to go and test ride a modern equivalent in line 4 to get a decent comparison. Bit silly really, jumping on a 2016 959 onto a 1998 Ninja.... The 959 though - more comfortable that I thought it would be (apart from aching wrists after 2 ours). Quick shift is a delight. Astonishing induction howl/roar. and the looks....ummmmphh. and it's light and nimble way beyond my lardy G1.
Really enjoying the reviews you guys do! As others have said I don't feel I can necessarily trust the other reviewers (MCN, etc) where as you guys don't seem to be worried about telling the negatives. I would love one of these 959's in the future, damn sexy bike.
Great review indeed love the chesty mount footage, Ive just bought one to use for enduro riding but can see its going to be good on the sports bike also! Love the selfy stick footage :)
man, you have a lot confidence in those tires. The panigale throttle is super jerky in race and sport. Have you ever tried putting wet mode in the HIGH engine output? That's how i use mine all the time. All the power without the jerky throttle.
Talking about middleweight oddball bikes, what's your take on Triumph's Daytona 675? No particular version in mind. A discussion on this motorcycle sounds fitting on your channel.
Nice one 44teeth and I know every single road that you went on lol. The location to start on is just perfect. I have a few selfies on that exact spot!! But the gravel on them roads is dangerous well on my 749 it is!!
not really when i just started riding 3 months in i had a ride on a street fighter with worst conditions people think you're riding a bicycle or something its a motorcycle they're made to handle above 120mph and racing tracks so a bit of rain won't be that hard.
Your eybrows makes you look like Max Biaggi.... your "Multistrada" pronounce was very good..... this short test on open roads was really nice, I wouldn't be so confident on such conditions with a brand new Panigale under my ass.... THUMB UP!
+44Teeth, which do you prefer, a base 1299 or a 959? Bike would be used primarily on the street. Part of me REALLY wants that single sided swingarm and nicer dash.
+44Teeth, +BaronVonGrumble,, if you were still an 899 owner such as myself, would the 959 have you thinking seriously about shelling out for the upgrade? Curious about your thoughts. Oh, and thanks for the quick review. Cheers.
No doubt. Look at 1:39. We don't get them like that in the US. There's no drainage ditch but they even have walls/banks to keep the water on the road. In a hard rain they probably turn into rivers.
Have Ducati just gone too big on cc? 916 was a seminal bike derived from the 851. Then the 748/749 in a smaller package. As you comment, the 899 could be pinned but this is closer to Superbike territory. Has Euro 4 caused problems? I wonder. A 600 to 700_ cc Ducati to bring in new riders. Will watch to find out.
personally, i would like to see a smaller cc sports bike from them.. could be a great entry level bike and open Ducati up to millions of snotty teenagers with swag..
+TheCcponyboy The 600 market is dead looking at uk sale's there is little chance of Ducati making a smaller cc bike. If any chance it would be a 675 like triumph or mv. but Just look at the price of new 600's the R6 is £9669 brand new .... ZX6R & £8999 & GSXR £8699 if anything new riders haven't got that cash
If I were to switch to one of these from my '07 Daytona 675, what would I notice switching over? Would I be making any sacrifices? What would be improved? I'd really like a Ducati (1198/848 is probably my favourite styling wise) but I'm also tempted to go for something naked due to the fact that I've been getting a bit sick of sports bikes in British weather, something like an MT-10 would interest me greatly.
The Cheshire Cat I went from a 1199 street to a Triumph 675r for the trackday/streetbike. For the track I think I would be faster on the 675 but that's just because of the 1199's massive power. I then bought a 848 Streetfighter for the street and kept the 675 for the track, I have a lot of sportbikes and some standards and I definitely rank the Streetfighter as one of my favorite bikes. I'm thinking about either a 1299 (has enough safety features to keep me from highsiding) or a 959 for the track now.
Nicely grumbled, Baron. What tyres were you riding with? They seemed pretty sticky for those wet and cold conditions or is it all a merit of the duca's electronics? Keep up the good stuff.
Love your work, your video's are great to watch infact addictive, following your trip to spain looks like you guys are having a ball, keep up the good work and stay safe, from stewart a Welshman in oz
I think for me it would probably be a bit to powerful. I have a 118hp zx6r and absolutly love it. You can pin it first gear and actually hold it there for a few seconds without going twice or three times the speed limit. Yet it is still gets moving. I might however be totally wrong and this bike is still "weak" enough that you can actually open it up. I loved the vid. Keep it up :)
I had a question...what is the heat like coming up under the seat?...I know previous models 1198, & 1299 both seemed to suffer from 'boiling egg' syndrome...what's this one like?
I like the way the speedo has a self blurring feature....useful for damp conditions I imagine? 😆
oooor it's some cheap speedo which is fogging up all the time...
+Nor Treblig Ooooor +Bigsmokeandthemonster was joking and Grumble's edited out his dashboard.
+Pyxel Dust whoooosh
***** Well, if there was a joke there or a reference I definitely completely missed it.
+Nor Treblig Baron blurs it when editing for legal reasons.. Because speeding is a common thing on those things ;)
brits!! wheelies under narrow bridges, on bumpy, potholed tarmac, in the wet......love it!!
Great review Baron, hope you and Fagan enjoy the rest of your time with the bike.
+Ducati UK Thanks guys! More to come and can't wait - who needs sunshine eh?!
At last a really good, pragmatic, honest, bike review. If that's how '44' will deliver reviews, keep em coming...
Every bike review should be like this. That was awesome!
Thumbs up from me for the new style of presenting.
+MrMentalackack Thanks! :)
+MrMentalackack strongly agree on that. best of luck for both of them! I can't wait for them to have a go on the new zx10!
great channel.....A grown up top gear for two wheeled fanatics!
love this kind of testing video. For me it always feels more real to see someone riding a bike an talking about it than simply answerig questions about a bike he has been on 1 week ago... anyway...amazing video. Hope the channel grows as much as I think it will in the near futur.

I'm not sure if I'm feeling the side exhaust. I liked the bottom stealth version or even the undertail style much more aesthetic.
Lots of USA fans here that truly enjoy your vids. The biker views are awesome!
Baron von Eyebrow
that should be a sticker
+Kalimerakis Double Bloody Eyebrow
+Kalimerakis Haha now that's funny. Sticker that one for sure.
Really great impartial review, as ever. 44 teeth deserves to really grow, exceptional, and funny.
Love the videos. I feel like I can trust your reviews more than the other channels (i.e. MCN, motousa), and definitely more entertaining! Hope 2016 brings big things for 44Teeth!
+Ian Pinon thanks Ian :)
You two are easily becoming my favourite bike reviewers online. Looking forward to more.
I'm loving the 44Teeth reviews, keep 'em coming :-)
Love that you're being more open on the channel, videos are absolutely awesome :)
I must say, this review/first test was probably one of the most professional you have done. Totally different feeling from ones you have done before and on the other channel. Keep it up looking forward to more from this bike .

How does this channel not have more Subscribers this and MCN are the only motorcycle review channels I really watch anymore.
Ive just bought a 959 after viewing this vid, the panigale was always a bike i considered.... And i absolutely love it...... I wanted a good bike for the road, its cornering ability is sublime, as you say makes you look good..... It just feels so good underneath you....

Think there about 155 Bhp which is plenty I had a 2017 gsxr1000 way too much power never used it way too fast for our uk roads don’t need it
Eye contact! Nice one C. Great to see you're expressions. Your identity is hardly a secret nowadays, so it's good to see the person who is behind the camera.
Love Love Love the new format keep it up , most trust worthy reviews on the web :)
It keeps getting better and better every video, really love your work guys !
Great start to the year Baron, hope this year will be a lot less stressful for you.Keep the good work coming mate, always good to see an upload from you 👍🏻😎
It's amazing to see what you've become man. Fair play. You've started something truly remarkable for bikers.
BvG and 44teeth... Best out there at the moment.. Keep it up fellas!!!
Wow, You were pinning it in that conditions. Also that exhaust note above blurred RPM, it's like it hits VTEC but is less gay.
Great work. The 44th will conquer the world of motorcycle journalism in 2016.
I must have watched this video 100 times now. Do more vlogs brother. Love your vids :)
Love this. I feel your reviews are "real" not generic like other motorcycle media platforms. Please do more.
flawless performance from Baron and the Ducati
That induction noise is amazing!
I learned about this channel from your other one...and subscribed...great job keep it up. I appreciate your honesty and impressions on your bike reviews...
Great as usual ! Keep up the awesome work coming Baron and Alistair !

Would love to see a comparison between this and the MV f4 800.

Extremely dank video baron. Glad to see your happier.
Great vlog and great edit, loved it Baron!
Looks like you had an unfortunate water droplet on your camera when you started to speed up sometimes....
Liked the new style of reviewing, very nice work!
Finally I can put a face (well a part of it) to the voice. Super job on all your videos and general banter. Well done and keep up a good job. Would love to meet up but I think my 125cc will put me to shame. But GS Adventure is a plan for a near future.
Top gear version of motorcycle! Cant wait for other reviews guys! Good job.
Slick graphics and presentation, really into 44 teeth.Maybe a motorbike top gear style tv series in the future....... Good work
Really love this vid. You guys always have great stuff.
I think the 959 corse has clutchless up and down shifting. These are great, my girl had an 899 trackbike.
Another great review BvG. My only suggestion would be perhaps a few more 44Teeth stickers on your helmet for the next one?
Love the sound and your eyes
Baron you are quite an actor...You should give it a shot!. Great Review
Wasn't expecting that eye reveal :D good review, look forward to this head to head
I test rode one of these today. To put that into perspective, the only bikes I have ever owned are two G1 ZX6Rs. What a machine! Trouble is, I have nothing comparable to compare it with. That Panigale second and third gear sound though😍
Really enjoying the reviews you guys do! As others have said I don't feel I can necessarily trust the other reviewers (MCN, etc) where as you guys don't seem to be worried about telling the negatives.
I would love one of these 959's in the future, damn sexy bike.
This is my favorite channel
Great review indeed love the chesty mount footage, Ive just bought one to use for enduro riding but can see its going to be good on the sports bike also! Love the selfy stick footage :)
Love the new angle Baron, looks much better and nice little test of the bike :)
At least there is no music dude hiding the Ducati music thanks for that good review 👍🏻
quality video, as always! Keep up the good work!
Speedo seems intermittently blurry, they should fix that 😏
Can't wait to test ride the 959 next week!
That front brake res flapping around would do my swede in
Would be great to see a 916 or 996 review. Relive the glory days of WSB.
man, you have a lot confidence in those tires. The panigale throttle is super jerky in race and sport. Have you ever tried putting wet mode in the HIGH engine output? That's how i use mine all the time. All the power without the jerky throttle.

Nice review Baron, watch the wheelies though after the few items recently on the Beeb News website
Yet another "cold" eh Baron????
"Lets get on it!!!"
Indeed.
Baron Von RUMBLED!!!
Brilliant show just subscribed. The bikes on this show are mental
I stumbled across your channel from across the pond. loving the vids! finally some honest unbiased reviews. Anything planned for a rc213v test ride??
Ugh those fixed mirrors. Banana fist waving!!
Great review and some committed riding on very moist roads.
Lets be honest, it takes a lot of skill to ride hard in those conditions too Mr. BvG.
and good bloody tyres!
not really when i just started riding 3 months in i had a ride on a street fighter with worst conditions people think you're riding a bicycle or something its a motorcycle they're made to handle above 120mph and racing tracks so a bit of rain won't be that hard.
Your eybrows makes you look like Max Biaggi.... your "Multistrada" pronounce was very good..... this short test on open roads was really nice, I wouldn't be so confident on such conditions with a brand new Panigale under my ass.... THUMB UP!
Wish videos could reproduce engine sounds properly... Is there a sw update for the instrument pack? It keeps going blurry!
+44Teeth, which do you prefer, a base 1299 or a 959? Bike would be used primarily on the street. Part of me REALLY wants that single sided swingarm and nicer dash.
Great video, that 949 looks like great fun :D
What is the brand and model of the tires? The grip in those conditions looked very good.
loved the review guys and loving the channel...but how does it handle in aldershot your always so close=]
+44Teeth, +BaronVonGrumble,, if you were still an 899 owner such as myself, would the 959 have you thinking seriously about shelling out for the upgrade? Curious about your thoughts. Oh, and thanks for the quick review. Cheers.
Mind BLOWN!!! Baron!!
Really enjoyed the review and kudos for corner speed on those tyres in those conditions.
Dang, some of those roads over there look like riverbeds that happen to have a bit of asphalt in them. I can't tell if there's one lane or two.
they're country lanes...
No doubt. Look at 1:39. We don't get them like that in the US. There's no drainage ditch but they even have walls/banks to keep the water on the road. In a hard rain they probably turn into rivers.
A 959 Panigale S would be sooooo sick!!!
The smallest cc engine they have is the 400cc Scrambler. Pretty cool looking thing but its only 500 US Dollars cheaper than the full 800cc scrambler
that is probably one of the nicest bikes I've ever seen
good bike review, probably beyond my price range but something to dream about! I was amazed at the handling, especially on a wet and greasy road.
Enjoyed that review geez, subbed
Awesome stuff, When the GSXR concept comes out please test drive it asap. For value for money its going to be the daddy again.
Baron, please do a first thoughts video on the new 2016 ZX10R.
Great review! I'll stick with my 899 for the time being but the 959, especially with the Akra pipes, actually looks quite nice..
Keep it up :)
what zx you got mate? 600 or 636?
therealmrcheese 03 636B
I had a question...what is the heat like coming up under the seat?...I know previous models 1198, & 1299 both seemed to suffer from 'boiling egg' syndrome...what's this one like?
