The "Raising the Bar" quote never gets old. The break down of tithing is spot on. So grateful that in every area Chuck was humble and set in reality - not in concern with man's opinions. Good post Jesse! Thanks.
Sorry to see and hear people doubting the tithe, or even considering it a lie. When I read Mal3:8-10, 20 years ago, I decided to take God up on His offer to "test" Him. I can testify that He indeed fulfilled His promise after the "test". Warning! Dont give, to get. Honor God in everything.
The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit. Chuck Missler is a wonderful steward of Spiritual and Worldly knowledge. God gave him an extremely intelligent mind, a yearning heart, for God and the faith, hope and courage to speak and teach The Truth. I pray that I could have even a fraction of his understanding. Since I don't, I praise God for His gift to us, in Chuck Missler. I only wish I had known of him sooner. He is sorely missed.
I really like this guy and enjoy listening to him. Disappointing that he is continuing with the tithing lie. First thing I have found to disagree with him on. Keep studying Chuck :). Right on just about everything. Wrong on tithing. Read up on Earl Russell Kelly! God bless.
......hey......how about reading the Bible instead........I have chosen to tithe for most of my life.....the greatest thing I can is having my faith increased as God provides for our family.
bassmanjr100 Tithing is not a lie. Read the Bible, do searches in the Bible. If it were a lie, why did Abraham give tithes to Melchizedek? He knew something that is not explained to us, in Genesis, but God gave him knowledge. God gave the knowledge to Moses, and God has never said that He would stop requiring it. But He wants a cheerful giver. So, if you can't do tithing with joy, obedience, or desire, then don't tithe. But, do not go around telling people falsehoods about the Word of God.
Please tell us how "it is a lie"? You can't just throw out a statement with zero scripture to back it up. Tithing WORKS! I can tell you about an hour of stories about how just as soon as I make a tithe, or even better - a donation to something that I felt the Lord was telling me to donate to, I was almost immediately blessed in return. Not that I was doing it just for the blessing, keep that in mind! If your motives are wrong, then it doesn't work.

Well done!

Earl Russel Kelly? Is he now greater than God's own Word? And who is he to be telling lies, about God's Word?
