My Fernandes LE 1 is the guitar that I just reach for the most. Simply the best most underrated strat you can buy imho. If you see one..buy it. You'll never regret it.
My son has one. He upgraded the pickups (all single coil) with some Seymour Duncan Strat replacements (don't know which ones). I think it plays and sounds better than my 95 American Strat. Fine guitar.
