@hemicud4 It is the engine that came in it from the factory. 67-70 share the same engine bay, so it will bolt right in. Check out mercury cougar dot net , many guys there have done it.
It's probably been answered by now but they will fit in. That's where my Cleveland came from 67 mustang. My problem was to put it in my 64 falcon, kind of a lot of work to make the motor and the headers fit.
