Just use ChatGPT, feed in the Pokémon, what you’re trying to accomplish, the rest of your team and their roles, and ChatGPT should be able to give you a decent IV/EV spread + Nature
This is quite a helpful video ngl, i would have liked a sheet or something in the description that links us to a spread sheet of all of these Speed Tiers, but regardless this is quite helpful
Really good video The only thing I will say is that you should have mentioned the speed stat of Adamant Talonflame You need Adamant life orb to one shot Amoongus with Brave bird
Amazing video and great info!! Thanks a lot :) However, I think there is a mistake on the Tailwind slide at 9:35, or I am misunderstanding something. Timid Bloodmoon Ursaluna has 114, so 115 would be the normal speed or if both teams have tailwind up. Otherwise, to match the other examples logic, the Bloodmoon Ursaluna would be out sped (if only your team has Tailwind up) at 57 Spd, respectively at 76 Spds if no Tail Wind is up and you have either choice scarf on a slow mon (which would be ridiculous in most cases xD) or if you have a speed buffing move at stage 1. Am I missing something and the page shown is correct and I am wrong?
So someone who dables with both Smogon and Official VGC rules, in games both are set to 50 because that's the rules etc, most competitive online battles do things at 50 as well, at level 50, 0-30, every 2 IVs are called the same, so 0 spd IV and 1 Spd IV are the same
@@ScooteezyVGC yeah should have said I’ll be rain spamming. I only use the shinys I hunt which is sometimes sub optimal using trick room lol. But I just caught a duraldon and a overquill so I’ll try use them.
Barraskewda doesn't even need the rain to outspeed because the only other Pokemon left are dragapult and electrode, and electrode is pretty ass, so I like propeller tail to make follow me and rage powder useless, also they mentioned kilowattrel and Jolteon which I've never seen anyone use either
@@ScooteezyVGC : so far so good. Modest nature, max speed and special attack with choice specs. Definitely hits like a truck with Chloroblast. I think my opponents are always wary of its aftermath ability so it doesn’t seem to get attacked too much. Mostly it dies from the recoil of Chloroblast. I have ice terra blast. But I’m probably gonna have to change that because I never get to use it.🥲
It was supposed to be on my sun team. I plan on giving the Dragapult max spA and Speed. It's moveset will be Shadow Ball, Dragon Darts, Solar Beam, and Sunny Day. With a tera grass to abuse the solar beam and for coverage.
You would need your own speed control, keep in mind these are common benchmarks, not a must follow guide, you might find that you don't need speed investment on your Rilla even in a TW team
I don't think it's speed is worth noting, it's not common on TR teams, but if you want it to underspeed Pokemon you always have the option of underspeeding mons like the spider
Thank you scoot, now i can ev without using a random number generator

the most confusing thing in reg h is learning the speeds , this video was super usefull
It’s obvious a lot of work went into this video. Thank you! Now I don’t have to run max speed on everything!

I don't plan to upload the the PowerPoint, but I do have a document in my discord with a graphic that might help
Wow this is such an amazing video holy cap. 9:54 this slide is 🔥
Glad you liked it
Great vid mate, going to share this with a friend too as he didn't play earlier regs and only got into VGC in Reg E.
@@pmShane302 glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for the share :)

i suck at learning speed tiers tysm for talking through it!
Thank you for making this!
This was Extremely helpful. i really appreciate the helpful vids brother ❤
This was really helpful, thanks!
Scot thank you so much this video. This is actually so important. Thank you
Glad it helps :)
Exactly waiting for this to drop
Omg thank you - I'm making a tailwind team and I've been sitting here trying to do math to figure out how fast my folks need to be

I just saw Conkeldur, I LIKE
Odds of this slide show being posted somewhere to browse after watching lmao
I don't have plans to upload it anywhere yet, but as the format develops I'll be putting together a spreadsheet
That 100-102 tier is so true. But then theres me, refusing to acknowledge garchomp in the meta since rillaboom is #1😂
Don't sleep on the King
@ScooteezyVGC definitely working on how to build a solid team around it myself. Just feels bad running EQ Chomp specifically with rilla around
I wanted to get into competitive Pokémon, just understood EVs, never could get into IVs and now all this… GF gotta do some tweaking or something
I would definitely like to see them simplify it as the numbers are kinda random, let's hope they make some changes in gen 10
I haven’t played vgc since season 3 lol. Is overquill better with swift swim or intimidate ?
It depends on the team, but in rain, you want swift swim
@@ScooteezyVGC yeah should have said I’ll be rain spamming. I only use the shinys I hunt which is sometimes sub optimal using trick room lol. But I just caught a duraldon and a overquill so I’ll try use them.
Goateezy
Bro forgot about my goat barraskewda
lol no one is using it that’s why it wasn’t included. Most rain teams are using either Basculegion or Overqwuill

I actually have a hisuian Electrode on my Reg H team.😭🤣🤣🤣

I was thinking replacing Flutter Mane with my Dragapult does that sound good?
@@JustAChillGuy009 well flutter isn't available anymore, and I don't know the team you're replacing it on so it's probably fine

It's weird seeing spd being used for spe.
My bad
@ScooteezyVGC your fine lol was mostly commenting for your engagement algorithm keep up the good work my guy

Isn't bloodmoon ursaluna locked to hardy nature?
@@Henkita2 you can use a mint to change it's nature
Not to be silly, but if these fast mons that we’re trying to outspeed are also in tailwind, won’t we just never outspeed them?
