you actually need to consider the milliseconds too to get good roles, not only the min and secs (somebody didn't watch the whole original video, i'm looking at you)

i do computer science, let me explain. Wuthering waves is programmed with unreal engine, which uses the language C++. In c++ there is only one way u can do rng, and that is srand(time(NULL)) then rand() the integer, notice that it uses time(), that means the rng is seeded from time, real time. If my assumptions is correct, they couldve made it so that they modulo the number, then the result corresponds to the stats, for example, randomNumber % 10 = stats, it could be 7 = Crit Rate, 8 = energy regen, etc2. Maybe they havent improved their algorrithm to make it random enough, so theoritically, some could actually expoloit this on banner pulls too. Remember that there is no real random in programming. EDIT: Yep I was yappin too much. First as much as y'all disagree, there really is too little evidence for this experiment, small and biased sample size, and so many lapses. Even though I could be right on the whole random through time thing, there are latencies, randomization in randomization (layered randomization), and probably, this is a speculation, echo stat bias(CUZ HOW THE HELL DID ALL 50 OF MY BELL BOSS GET CRIT DAMAGE, ALL OF EM???). So yeah, we can only trust these datas with more participants, game is still too young
I actually think that the rng seed is already set the moment the account is created and stay there forever, this explain how some account is so damn lucky like 100% of the time and the other never lucky at all My conclusion come from experience, I have multiple account and observe a lot of other acc in discord, its clear to me that only some acc is lucky as hell and only those account no matter when they tune, pull or do other things. So its not "time seed RNG" at all, its "planted/root seed rng"
if youre gonna level up echos it doesnt hurt to try this but dont expect that it would actually produce results just think of it as bonus luck i doubt they made the substat rng more complicated than it needed to be unless this research was conducted a few thousand times with thousands of people from all the servers dont expect too much if you dont wanna get disappointed
Yeah That's what I'm trying to say so far from what I've seen people don't watch the full video and think oh it's 100% crit roll every time when it legit said 13% and 14% for the crit rolls. I got 2 double Crit rolls and 4x 1 Crit roll keep in mind I didn't even roll the full 5 rolls but only 3. So out of 10 Echoes 6 rolled into Crit which gave me a 60% success rate which is higher then what it said in the doc (if I test 1000 Echoes then this number will get smaller). I also read the comments on the og video from the guy who found it and alot of people said that it worked for them and then tested it myself in this video and it worked for me too. It's a highly suspicious method without enough empirical evidence. There are not enough samples, and it could be the normal RNG for all we know. With so few tests, this is nothing but a hasty generalization.
Well the spreadsheet already has over 1000 tests and this number will probably get bigger as this method gets more known and more people share their data. If you look through the comments on my video and the og video then you will see that it actually works for those people too compared to their usual rolls. I'm not trying to force you to do anything if you don't want to try it then don't it's your account and your time :D I hope you have a nice rest of your day/night :)
You would be right, but time is an important detail with the code related to echo rng. It's not too wild when you remember that computer rng isn't truly ramdom.
@@Krows. they tested 200 people on the 7 minute marker in each region and they didnt test the other minutes, out of the 200 they got like 30 echoes with crit rate or sum, thats nowhere near enough proof
just stumble it yesterday and ohh boy what a game changer to me. Back then i get rarely crit substats on my echoes but when i tried its almost a guaranteed crit every click. Still havent get dual crit but hey at least i could get one of them compare before. to bad that my account is already low on echo expi.

Holy mother of lord this works I tried it on 9 Inferno Rider and half of them got double crit while the rest only have one crit stat. This was a major diff compared on me getting crit stats at the last two rolls
tested it multiple times and got a crit roll on 7/10 echoes, 2 had double crit. not bad honestly, much better than my usual rolls when i never get crit at all

Some people watch this and think oh I will get double crit stat 100% of the time even thought I said multiple times in the video that it's 13% and 14% for each crit rolls according to the spreadsheet at 7mins for the american server. People need to consider their ping too as the command gets sent to the server at a certain speed... Assuming the calculation is server side, not client side.
I want to point out to people, this may be a fun thing to try out but don't expect anything with this much. As much as I've already discussed it multiple times with people that, while PRNG is seed-based tied is at mostly tied with time, Kuro isn't dumb enough of a developer to have something this very predictable. Especially considering how high that factor is, like assumed 5% is already high enough for rolling a substat, but for some reason they got it well above that in a specific time range. At the most basic case here, they'd tied this down to nanos and not millis. In anycase, even if we have that information regarding some weak prng, you'd still have no way for actually making much use of it since you will lack the precision of actually pull it off. And that's just considering older or weaker algos, that's well harder for actual competent ones. Even if basing your chances on Unix time, there's most likely no recurring pattern per xN time when you convert to an integer nor even any way to confirm it entirely, that's assuming that they think that this entire thing is client-side while the server time generates the seed. However, that's not really the main gist from what I got here, considering we can't really say it's not the case since we don't know the actual code. The main issue is that, from what I've seen there's a probable large confirmation bias within that specific range of x7. Primarily because we do not have unlimited resources to actually do a proper controlled testing. This sample size is already small, from a playerbase that's probably less than 1%, and the confirmation bias towards x7 has to do with people just rolling more in the x7 zone due to the initial data findings. Basically speaking, unless we have an infinite amount of credits, tuners, and echoes, NO ONE is insane enough that is following this, to continually roll in other xN when THEY THINK x7 has the highest probable chance of rolling a CR/CD. In an ideal scenario, we would be wasting well over thousand~ten thousands tunings per hh:mm:ss:ms to test this just to see if there's a uniform distribution amongst a range, however, we just don't have that much resources to do so, nor people having the patience to do farm to do it. Instead, people with limited resources would just roll in a range they think they're most favorable at so a few thousand overall results is not good data data at all. This means, people are going in here and thinking "hey that actually looks like good statistical data", which really is gonna skew people's perceptions, and with that, we got poor understanding of statistics. If you are ever in here, take what you get from that table with a very very large grain of salt and not be too hopeful about it.
Surprisingly i got Crit rate and dmg on my first try, still skeptical about this method but I'll be using this further just to make the most out of my resources even if it's not really real

Omg I just tired- it mostly worked!! I did get a higher role of DEF% then it said I would but eh for my first try I also got Crit.DMG 13.8% and Basic Attack DMG Bonus 10.1% AND I slightly higher then said Energy Regen at 10.0%!!!!!!!!!!!
Lmao yea so true, thinking 1000 samples are enough to make a conclusion... even prng requires at least x1000 more samples to be able to simulate how the true chances are.
Not to mention that crit stats seem to appear more often no matter the minute time. That just makes it more likely to be a confirmation bias due to them appearing more often
The echo I get from the BP has better high rolls in CRIT everytime I pull them from the chest and lvl up, I don't think it's a timezone thing but more like the game itself when creating the echo in the Database has already the substat rolled inside and we are just discovering them with the tuners :) that's why I just put my echoes lv10 max 15 to see the ligns and if there's not what I need, I just try on another one until I get what's needed
I hope this is true but i think the data is small enough that we cannot be sure yet I will return in a week or two after we got a lot more data as the method is getting more popular

@@Krows. i think it depend on your sever time and your ping too, i try it at 30s get at least one crit roll each tune, and just got double crit 3 cost echos with this trick, also last time i do it with 5 echos random and none of them have crit. this ia true.
It surely ain't that simple, but it's been working great for me. I think it might also be account-bound somehow, unfortunately, it's not the same for everyone, so we should do our own statistics and see what works better. Minute 7 is my favorite.
This works to a certain degree used both 2min 5min 7 min 9 min and got C.dmg%/ER% half the time and i get lib/basic/skill bonus the rest which aint bad at all
I mean, this is really really interesting. I'm currently working on getting a broken Cryo set for my Sanhua and I have 0 luck I'll try this, maybe it'll work? So far my Echos all roll with Def/Def/HP/HP/Flat ATK. Thanks for the video!
@@mistersimple7303 So, just did about 10 echos to get a valueable reading. Keep in mind, I'm in Europe so the time I have to tune is different for me. For Europe, the highest Crit chance is at the 7th Minute, every 15 seconds. In those 10 echos, 4 of them had Crit, sadly never both, but that's alright So, maybe there's something there, but it def needs more testing and it seems to be quite random. Edit: I have no mats again lol

just did an echo tuning at 02:57:05 on the NA servers and got 10% hp bonus rather than the crit rate i was going for. i did manage to get crit damage (12%), res liberation, res skill and attack % tho for yinlin so
I have 300 tuner left and 0 echo exp, going broke for Jinshi, absolutely worth it (I'm a low spender with ton of resources from 2 BP) So yea I have no resource to try this method sadly, wish I know this sooner tho it could also be just rng

Ya it's no harm trying whether it's real or not, since we will be tuning our echoes anyway. I just hope the echo exp economy will become good soon. Now is 60 wave plates for the tiny amount of tubes... that's daylight blood sucking man lol

To be fair, some does roll to xr/cd but other substat are matter Imagine u get cr and cd but the rest is flat HP def and def.. its will be another fodder material
@@rizza1106 I mean according to the spreadsheet each time has a higher chance of getting each roll so after you get your crit rolls you can try rolling for another substat at the given time on the spreadsheet :)
3 out 13, not to mention, after you roll, the stat you get is taken out of the pool. The test should have been only doing the first roll on each echo. Because, 3 out of 13 is already 23% without this delulu sheet. In that case, you got crit on the first roll once, out of 5 echoes.
When you are trying to get *one* roll out of a *three* pull from *thirteen* possibilities you get around ~26% chance. Which is exactly what the "echomancy" gets. It has nothing to do with time. If RNG is tied to time. I doubt they are dumb enough to leave it to the minute instead of the frame, anyways.
The evidence for this seems suspect at best, and my own tests with a small sample size have yielded 0 CR or CD out of 20 rolls in time frames they've recommended. It's almost uncanny how much worse my luck has been with this method
why minute? cuz recalculating seed at every frame isn't really resource-economically efficient per minute isn't really that weird esp if they use more than one seed

If you are smart enough to know that you are smart enough that nothing gets pseudo randomized that inefficiently either. You also don't need to calculate a seed every time or at all. Since the relics don't have to come pre-randomized they can just roll for a number right there and then and save it to the server. Any operation in a program is already refreshed (when needed) by the tick-rate. Which is, at the very minimum, equal or greater than the framerate. That gives us at least 3600 different results per minute. Also, this only needs to be calculated when rolling artifacts by using the seed + the current number of the tick/frame as extra pseudo randomizer. But my point is that randomizing either by the frame or the minute is dumb and inefficient. But someone says that's how Unreal works so I don't have a reason to argue that.
I don't know how and I still dont believe this BUT I got 5 crit pieces out 7, they are not good piece but they are better than no CRIT. I will test this further and see if it is my bias or it actually works
I just try 4 times at 7 min mark on SEA. 3 Tunes from 0 -> all got crit dmg roll (with only 1 deff%). 1 Tune at 25 got 1 c dmg basicaly all got some crit stat. which I tell you I almost never did on my random tune. so It might have the tendency to happend like mentioned (edit): I did one more tune at +25 got atk flat (I have R skill, ER, Atk%, CR) so still a decent roll. 4/5 crit roll

The first three i got was amazing resonance liberation dmg, heavy attack bonus, and crit rate guess what i got for the fourth and fifth, defense% and defense flat 😢
Yes. Every game. especially MMORPG. or other online game. have their timespawn/timestamp. its the same as when the certain mobs will spawn or the other way around. the same goes to the gacha system.this system is some kind of a log file like system that the game developer set for it to work with the code they make. you need some knowledge and take notes on what time its spawn and when the pattern really shows. its either twice in 1 hour marks 1 minute mark or 30 second mark or 30minute mark for a good % chance of you getting the "rng". its kinda complicated to think about. but its actually not if you have the source and know the details of the timestamp. everygame have this system. if you are a game developer. you will know this for sure. but modern day game. they sometime change the time mark every month or use a random timestamp generator. cause they know some of the human will know about this for sure and will abuse the timestamp. yeah thats it. we are a capable creature. and this system have been here since Ragnarok Online classic. which is back from 2002. human also use this system for the jackpot number. but instead Jackpot number generates random number. which also can be abuse by the one who knows👁

I comment on another vid about this topic, that is you had ~40% get cr or cd with 3 tunes (1-(11/13)^3), that's relatively high chance. And I did try this method to see if it works or not, unfortunately I only have resource for 6 echos lv 15, I play on server SEA and choose X4 minute mark because I want skill damage bonus (data at that moment is 0% cr, 30% cd and 10% skill bonus). Tune at 0/15/30/45 second. The result is very disappointed, only 1 get double cr and cd, 5 didn't get any cr or cd. I don't say the method is bs or not, perhaps I miss a few millisecond, or I just unlucky since I only roll 6 times, but take it with a grain of salt.
I'm sorry for your results I just had a quick look at the doc and the sea server didn't have alot of tester data at x4 mins it says 33 testers right now. The x7 min mark has 319 testers I would recommend you to wait until they get more testers for the sea server and give it another shot if you want. before using the sheet make sure you're actually looking at the data collected, the 4th minute in the sheet doesnt have nearly enough data and some sections are even empty do obviously the chances arent reliable. u need to select a row with enough data on it.
@@gamosame3za374 Just test it out last night. And I knew the meaning of the sheet is possibly you have higher chance obtain cr/cd at that moment, not guarantee. I disappointed bc it 5/6 echo didn't work for me (again, maybe I'm just unlucky) while the the raw calculation I state at the beginning should be 40%.
@@khangan4334 you can always give it a try in a few weeks when the double drops event comes out by then you will have more resources and more data to make sure you have the right time :)
@@khangan4334 again its only 40% because of the limited test cases, i just checked the sheet and for sea at 4 minutes there isnt enough data for this 40% to actually be 40%. u need to make sure that there is enough test cases otherwise its biased. idk how to make it clearer
So theres this thing where players get the same exact mainstats and substats in the same echo they have theres this guy i saw where he posted his jue with CD and some decent substats and some guy commented showing that hes got the same exact echo sometimes my echos have the same exact stats but different echos and i find it really weird idk if its just me or if yall experienced it too
No it's not guaranteed. Unless everyone in the world gets 100% crit all the time, don't call it guaranteed. Remember they are doing trials on specific times. And there are 60 seconds/minutes/hours. Datas each time is separate. We also all have different number of frames. What if it's on a specific window of frame rather than the window of second/minute/hour. There is also your ping, meaning the delay of your game. And there's no way to br sure that all the submitted data are good enough to be considered valid for being added to the calculation. The amount of sample needed on each time on top of so much variable(and some we can't even sure to say it's accurate enough) makes this trick just as good as randomly doing your tuning. It's there and it won't cost anything apart from spending time and effort, so definitely do if you can and contribute the data. Just don't expect it to be something like a holy grail.
Currently on minute 7, there's a lot of data, but on minute 2 there's very little. And the amount of samples at the highest time is still not high enough to be considered good. This basically means, reliability is almost non existent. Anyways I'm not discouraging this, heck I'm encouraging it so we can build a more reliable spreadsheet. Just putting this out to give everyone an idea of what this is actually, rather than calling it a GUARANTEED trick.
Im from Eu and i tried 6 rolls atm so far cuz no tuner but i tried at like 11:38:30 45 and 59 for a piece lvl 10 that already have crit chance and i wanted crit dmg on it so i rolled till 25 one roll each 15s got Atk flat, ER, Def% then 12:17:30 i rolls 3 times in arow in a new piece i got Lib% Def% Def flat on another echo i will try to roll another 6 rolls xD praying it work !
I tried 5 rolls more since last comment at 10:27:45 3 roll into def% def flat and hp% and 2 rolls at 10:17:15 that rolls Crit chance and ER% so overall 10 rolls for 1 crit xD did i do something wrong im from euw
I think sub stat will depend on main stat. I dont know about that I am unlucky or what...my Att or crit main stat always got at least one hp or def and difficult to get one crit for sub stat but main stat with HP & DEF always got at least one Crit and sometime 2 crit. I dont know it is just coincidence... but I think if ur main stat is Att related, higher the chance to get dep or hp stat .And hp dep Main stat will get att or crit sub stat.

It worked for me. Kinda. :) 3 out of 5 rolled crit! Other rolls were, well, far from perfect :) . 1st one: def 60 - atk 50 - crit rate 6.3 -ER 10 - Heavy atk dmg 8.6, 2nd one: crit rate 6.9 - res skill 9.4 - def 10 - res liberation 10.9 - ER 9.2 , 3rd one: ER 10.8 - CritDMG 12.6 - res Liberation 7.9. Two bad ones I just recycled. After all, this was fun! To tell you the truth, I'm not so sure if this method is legit but I have materials and will to try few times more. Wish me luck!, btw, EU server , 7 was the magic number.
Yeah it's different for every server and the spreadsheet also gets updated with more data from new players. For example for the asian server it's better to roll every 10 secs instead of 15 :D

Apparently they are planning on adding an item that changes the bad substat on your echo??(prob only 1 and not like all 5 xD) I'm not sure tho saw some people mention it on my discord but again it's just leaks D:

This "worked" once out of the five echoes I upgraded. landed crit damage once and nothing noteworthy on any of the other stats. Like you, I did only level them to 15 so as not to waste too many resources. I'm not convinced that this is anything. I still have 1701 tuners left.

So every new gacha people will do "undisclosured amounts of huge tries" and pretend that the random chance of getting less random rolls on random attributes are "consistent" to the exact hour and minute of the roll... Saw the video by Bernard recommended by RUclips and just skipped it. Saw the same data on another video (this one) and decided to take a look. Pretty much what I expected. Think about it. How do you think these tests were conducted? Was it the same person doing these tests for over 2000 times? Were they on a Zoom call perhaps? Where is the data that proves that this was actually tested? If you can't provide any of those, then isn't this just a "Trust me bro" moment? Theories normally have basis on how they are made but I didn't see anything here. Who says that this isn't just a product of a bored person's mind?

And if you look at the comments on the og video from the guy who found it worked for some other people too I mean the doc legit has over 1000 tests and it also worked for me as shown in the video. @@nixnax1489 no. So on discord we separate each server for each player. Each player has to send it times with image of both game and clock. Basically we want evidence. Most of the data is coming from trusted players that have been in discord since hsr manipulation. So ya… the only thing we can’t account for is human error. Which will happen always.

Yeah, this just confirms that it doesn't work. The probability of hitting a CR roll in your first 3 is already decent as is, you're still bricking a piece if you roll like this, and you're also wasting exponentially more tuners than if you carefully picked which echo you push up.
Can't believe I actually got Double crit rolls With this let me know how it goes for you :) Guys Please Remember The Doc doesn't say 100% when I tested this it said 13% & 14% for the crit rolls so you can't expect to get Double crit rolls everytime when you only roll 1 substat each time.

i do computer science, let me explain. Wuthering waves is programmed with unreal engine, which uses the language C++. In c++ there is only one way u can do rng, and that is srand(time(NULL)) then rand() the integer, notice that it uses time(), that means the rng is seeded from time, real time. If my assumptions is correct, they couldve made it so that they modulo the number, then the result corresponds to the stats, for example, randomNumber % 10 = stats, it could be 7 = Crit Rate, 8 = energy regen, etc2. Maybe they havent improved their algorrithm to make it random enough, so theoritically, some could actually expoloit this on banner pulls too. Remember that there is no real random in programming.
EDIT: Yep I was yappin too much. First as much as y'all disagree, there really is too little evidence for this experiment, small and biased sample size, and so many lapses. Even though I could be right on the whole random through time thing, there are latencies, randomization in randomization (layered randomization), and probably, this is a speculation, echo stat bias(CUZ HOW THE HELL DID ALL 50 OF MY BELL BOSS GET CRIT DAMAGE, ALL OF EM???). So yeah, we can only trust these datas with more participants, game is still too young

I actually think that the rng seed is already set the moment the account is created and stay there forever, this explain how some account is so damn lucky like 100% of the time and the other never lucky at all
My conclusion come from experience, I have multiple account and observe a lot of other acc in discord, its clear to me that only some acc is lucky as hell and only those account no matter when they tune, pull or do other things. So its not "time seed RNG" at all, its "planted/root seed rng"

I got 2 double Crit rolls and 4x 1 Crit roll keep in mind I didn't even roll the full 5 rolls but only 3. So out of 10 Echoes 6 rolled into Crit which gave me a 60% success rate which is higher then what it said in the doc (if I test 1000 Echoes then this number will get smaller). It's a highly suspicious method without enough empirical evidence. There are not enough samples, and it could be the normal RNG for all we know. With so few tests, this is nothing but a hasty generalization.
Well the spreadsheet already has over 1000 tests and this number will probably get bigger as this method gets more known and more people share their data. If you look through the comments on my video and the og video then you will see that it actually works for those people too compared to their usual rolls. I'm not trying to force you to do anything if you don't want to try it then don't it's your account and your time :D

You would be right, but time is an important detail with the code related to echo rng. It's not too wild when you remember that computer rng isn't truly ramdom.

just stumble it yesterday and ohh boy what a game changer to me. Back then i get rarely crit substats on my echoes but when i tried its almost a guaranteed crit every click. Still havent get dual crit but hey at least i could get one of them compare before. to bad that my account is already low on echo expi.

Holy mother of lord this works I tried it on 9 Inferno Rider and half of them got double crit while the rest only have one crit stat.
This was a major diff compared on me getting crit stats at the last two rolls

People need to consider their ping too as the command gets sent to the server at a certain speed... Assuming the calculation is server side, not client side.
I want to point out to people, this may be a fun thing to try out but don't expect anything with this much. As much as I've already discussed it multiple times with people that, while PRNG is seed-based tied is at mostly tied with time, Kuro isn't dumb enough of a developer to have something this very predictable. Especially considering how high that factor is, like assumed 5% is already high enough for rolling a substat, but for some reason they got it well above that in a specific time range. At the most basic case here, they'd tied this down to nanos and not millis. In anycase, even if we have that information regarding some weak prng, you'd still have no way for actually making much use of it since you will lack the precision of actually pull it off. And that's just considering older or weaker algos, that's well harder for actual competent ones. Even if basing your chances on Unix time, there's most likely no recurring pattern per xN time when you convert to an integer nor even any way to confirm it entirely, that's assuming that they think that this entire thing is client-side while the server time generates the seed.
However, that's not really the main gist from what I got here, considering we can't really say it's not the case since we don't know the actual code. The main issue is that, from what I've seen there's a probable large confirmation bias within that specific range of x7. Primarily because we do not have unlimited resources to actually do a proper controlled testing. This sample size is already small, from a playerbase that's probably less than 1%, and the confirmation bias towards x7 has to do with people just rolling more in the x7 zone due to the initial data findings. Basically speaking, unless we have an infinite amount of credits, tuners, and echoes, NO ONE is insane enough that is following this, to continually roll in other xN when THEY THINK x7 has the highest probable chance of rolling a CR/CD. In an ideal scenario, we would be wasting well over thousand~ten thousands tunings per hh:mm:ss:ms to test this just to see if there's a uniform distribution amongst a range, however, we just don't have that much resources to do so, nor people having the patience to do farm to do it. Instead, people with limited resources would just roll in a range they think they're most favorable at so a few thousand overall results is not good data data at all.
This means, people are going in here and thinking "hey that actually looks like good statistical data", which really is gonna skew people's perceptions, and with that, we got poor understanding of statistics. If you are ever in here, take what you get from that table with a very very large grain of salt and not be too hopeful about it.

The echo I get from the BP has better high rolls in CRIT everytime I pull them from the chest and lvl up, I don't think it's a timezone thing but more like the game itself when creating the echo in the Database has already the substat rolled inside and we are just discovering them with the tuners :) that's why I just put my echoes lv10 max 15 to see the ligns and if there's not what I need, I just try on another one until I get what's needed

It surely ain't that simple, but it's been working great for me. I think it might also be account-bound somehow, unfortunately, it's not the same for everyone, so we should do our own statistics and see what works better. Minute 7 is my favorite.

This works to a certain degree used both 2min 5min 7 min 9 min and got C.dmg%/ER% half the time and i get lib/basic/skill bonus the rest which aint bad at all

So, just did about 10 echos to get a valueable reading.
Keep in mind, I'm in Europe so the time I have to tune is different for me.
For Europe, the highest Crit chance is at the 7th Minute, every 15 seconds.
In those 10 echos, 4 of them had Crit, sadly never both, but that's alright
So, maybe there's something there, but it def needs more testing and it seems to be quite random.

just did an echo tuning at 02:57:05 on the NA servers and got 10% hp bonus rather than the crit rate i was going for. i did manage to get crit damage (12%), res liberation, res skill and attack % tho for yinlin so

The test should have been only doing the first roll on each echo. Because, 3 out of 13 is already 23% without this delulu sheet.
In that case, you got crit on the first roll once, out of 5 echoes.

When you are trying to get *one* roll out of a *three* pull from *thirteen* possibilities you get around ~26% chance.
Which is exactly what the "echomancy" gets. It has nothing to do with time.
If RNG is tied to time. I doubt they are dumb enough to leave it to the minute instead of the frame, anyways.
The evidence for this seems suspect at best, and my own tests with a small sample size have yielded 0 CR or CD out of 20 rolls in time frames they've recommended. It's almost uncanny how much worse my luck has been with this method
why minute? cuz recalculating seed at every frame isn't really resource-economically efficient
per minute isn't really that weird esp if they use more than one seed

Or, conversely, you could just spin it whenever you actually make a pull.
If you are smart enough to know that you are smart enough that nothing gets pseudo randomized that inefficiently either.
You also don't need to calculate a seed every time or at all. Since the relics don't have to come pre-randomized they can just roll for a number right there and then and save it to the server.
Any operation in a program is already refreshed (when needed) by the tick-rate. Which is, at the very minimum, equal or greater than the framerate. That gives us at least 3600 different results per minute. Also, this only needs to be calculated when rolling artifacts by using the seed + the current number of the tick/frame as extra pseudo randomizer.
But my point is that randomizing either by the frame or the minute is dumb and inefficient. But someone says that's how Unreal works so I don't have a reason to argue that.
I don't know how and I still dont believe this BUT I got 5 crit pieces out 7, they are not good piece but they are better than no CRIT.
I will test this further and see if it is my bias or it actually works
I just try 4 times at 7 min mark on SEA. 3 Tunes from 0 -> all got crit dmg roll (with only 1 deff%). 1 Tune at 25 got 1 c dmg basicaly all got some crit stat. which I tell you I almost never did on my random tune. so It might have the tendency to happend like mentioned
(edit): I did one more tune at +25 got atk flat (I have R skill, ER, Atk%, CR) so still a decent roll. 4/5 crit roll

The first three i got was amazing resonance liberation dmg, heavy attack bonus, and crit rate guess what i got for the fourth and fifth, defense% and defense flat 😢

Every game. especially MMORPG. or other online game. have their timespawn/timestamp. its the same as when the certain mobs will spawn or the other way around. the same goes to the gacha system.this system is some kind of a log file like system that the game developer set for it to work with the code they make. you need some knowledge and take notes on what time its spawn and when the pattern really shows. its either twice in 1 hour marks 1 minute mark or 30 second mark or 30minute mark for a good % chance of you getting the "rng". its kinda complicated to think about. but its actually not if you have the source and know the details of the timestamp. everygame have this system. if you are a game developer. you will know this for sure. but modern day game. they sometime change the time mark every month or use a random timestamp generator. cause they know some of the human will know about this for sure and will abuse the timestamp. yeah thats it. we are a capable creature. and this system have been here since Ragnarok Online classic. which is back from 2002. human also use this system for the jackpot number. but instead Jackpot number generates random number. which also can be abuse by the one who knows👁

Well the doc doesn't say 100% crit everytime but if we look at my rolls I got 2 double crit rolls (which I usually never get) and 4x 1 crit rolls so out of 10 Echoes only 6 rolled into crit which would give me a 60% success rate. Keep in mind I rolled every Echo only 3 out of 5 times. But yeah I see what you mean like I said in the video everyone should try it themself and see how it goes for them :)
Please let me know how it goes for you when you try it and make sure you're using the right time for your server and rolling every 15 secs like it said in the doc :D

I comment on another vid about this topic, that is you had ~40% get cr or cd with 3 tunes (1-(11/13)^3), that's relatively high chance. And I did try this method to see if it works or not, unfortunately I only have resource for 6 echos lv 15, I play on server SEA and choose X4 minute mark because I want skill damage bonus (data at that moment is 0% cr, 30% cd and 10% skill bonus). Tune at 0/15/30/45 second.
The result is very disappointed, only 1 get double cr and cd, 5 didn't get any cr or cd. I don't say the method is bs or not, perhaps I miss a few millisecond, or I just unlucky since I only roll 6 times, but take it with a grain of salt.
I'm sorry for your results I just had a quick look at the doc and the sea server didn't have alot of tester data at x4 mins it says 33 testers right now. The x7 min mark has 319 testers I would recommend you to wait until they get more testers for the sea server and give it another shot if you want. There is another double Echo drop event soon you can give it another try then if you want there will probably also be more tester data by then and don't level a Echo more then 15 when you first roll them. Good luck with your rolls and I hope it goes better next time! :D
before using the sheet make sure you're actually looking at the data collected, the 4th minute in the sheet doesnt have nearly enough data and some sections are even empty do obviously the chances arent reliable. u need to select a row with enough data on it.
@@gamosame3za374 Just test it out last night. And I knew the meaning of the sheet is possibly you have higher chance obtain cr/cd at that moment, not guarantee. I disappointed bc it 5/6 echo didn't work for me (again, maybe I'm just unlucky) while the the raw calculation I state at the beginning should be 40%.
@@khangan4334 you can always give it a try in a few weeks when the double drops event comes out by then you will have more resources and more data to make sure you have the right time :)
@@khangan4334 again its only 40% because of the limited test cases, i just checked the sheet and for sea at 4 minutes there isnt enough data for this 40% to actually be 40%. u need to make sure that there is enough test cases otherwise its biased. idk how to make it clearer
So theres this thing where players get the same exact mainstats and substats in the same echo they have theres this guy i saw where he posted his jue with CD and some decent substats and some guy commented showing that hes got the same exact echo sometimes my echos have the same exact stats but different echos and i find it really weird idk if its just me or if yall experienced it too

No it's not guaranteed. Unless everyone in the world gets 100% crit all the time, don't call it guaranteed. Remember they are doing trials on specific times. And there are 60 seconds/minutes/hours. Datas each time is separate. We also all have different number of frames. What if it's on a specific window of frame rather than the window of second/minute/hour. There is also your ping, meaning the delay of your game.
And there's no way to br sure that all the submitted data are good enough to be considered valid for being added to the calculation.
The amount of sample needed on each time on top of so much variable(and some we can't even sure to say it's accurate enough) makes this trick just as good as randomly doing your tuning.
It's there and it won't cost anything apart from spending time and effort, so definitely do if you can and contribute the data. Just don't expect it to be something like a holy grail.
Currently on minute 7, there's a lot of data, but on minute 2 there's very little. And the amount of samples at the highest time is still not high enough to be considered good. This basically means, reliability is almost non existent. Anyways I'm not discouraging this, heck I'm encouraging it so we can build a more reliable spreadsheet. Just putting this out to give everyone an idea of what this is actually, rather than calling it a GUARANTEED trick.
Im from Eu and i tried 6 rolls atm so far cuz no tuner but i tried at like 11:38:30 45 and 59 for a piece lvl 10 that already have crit chance and i wanted crit dmg on it so i rolled till 25 one roll each 15s got Atk flat, ER, Def% then 12:17:30 i rolls 3 times in arow in a new piece i got Lib% Def% Def flat on another echo i will try to roll another 6 rolls xD praying it work !
I tried 5 rolls more since last comment at 10:27:45 3 roll into def% def flat and hp% and 2 rolls at 10:17:15 that rolls Crit chance and ER% so overall 10 rolls for 1 crit xD did i do something wrong im from euw
I think sub stat will depend on main stat. I dont know about that I am unlucky or what...my Att or crit main stat always got at least one hp or def and difficult to get one crit for sub stat but main stat with HP & DEF always got at least one Crit and sometime 2 crit. I dont know it is just coincidence... but I think if ur main stat is Att related, higher the chance to get dep or hp stat .And hp dep Main stat will get att or crit sub stat.

i think ur supposed to tune it at the 7th minute exactly not at the 37th one. because i tried this with three echoes and i got three crits in a row.

And on the spreadsheet it says ''Main Factors to pay attention to is Minutes, Seconds, and Miliseconds.'' I don't see why it would be the 7th minute when it clearly says X7 and X means any number. but if you have the time and want to do it every 7th minute of any hour and get better results then go ahead I might have to try it too thanks for the info :D

DAYUMM! bruh is the choosen one. and here I'm struggling with stats roll T_T.
It worked for me. Kinda. :) 3 out of 5 rolled crit! Other rolls were, well, far from perfect :) . 1st one: def 60 - atk 50 - crit rate 6.3 -ER 10 - Heavy atk dmg 8.6, 2nd one: crit rate 6.9 - res skill 9.4 - def 10 - res liberation 10.9 - ER 9.2 , 3rd one: ER 10.8 - CritDMG 12.6 - res Liberation 7.9. Two bad ones I just recycled. After all, this was fun! To tell you the truth, I'm not so sure if this method is legit but I have materials and will to try few times more. Wish me luck!, btw, EU server , 7 was the magic number.

Yeah it's different for every server and the spreadsheet also gets updated with more data from new players. For example for the asian server it's better to roll every 10 secs instead of 15 :D

This "worked" once out of the five echoes I upgraded. landed crit damage once and nothing noteworthy on any of the other stats. Like you, I did only level them to 15 so as not to waste too many resources. I'm not convinced that this is anything. I still have 1701 tuners left.

So every new gacha people will do "undisclosured amounts of huge tries" and pretend that the random chance of getting less random rolls on random attributes are "consistent" to the exact hour and minute of the roll... Saw the video by Bernard recommended by RUclips and just skipped it. Saw the same data on another video (this one) and decided to take a look. Pretty much what I expected. Think about it. How do you think these tests were conducted? Was it the same person doing these tests for over 2000 times? Were they on a Zoom call perhaps? Where is the data that proves that this was actually tested? If you can't provide any of those, then isn't this just a "Trust me bro" moment?
Theories normally have basis on how they are made but I didn't see anything here. Who says that this isn't just a product of a bored person's mind?

@@nixnax1489 no. So on discord we separate each server for each player. Each player has to send it times with image of both game and clock. Basically we want evidence. Most of the data is coming from trusted players that have been in discord since hsr manipulation. So ya… the only thing we can’t account for is human error. Which will happen always.

Yeah, this just confirms that it doesn't work. The probability of hitting a CR roll in your first 3 is already decent as is, you're still bricking a piece if you roll like this, and you're also wasting exponentially more tuners than if you carefully picked which echo you push up.
