The typical error a critic does when reviewing a directorial debut. This movie was insanely good for a fand if you did not hear his voice, then you might have seen a different movie. I have seldemoly seen such a good film in the last 10 years mate. Yes it is quite rough around the edges and how a few character are introduced and or handles feel a bit clunky. The action scenes were amazing and I am the first to rant about unundertandable action scenes. Patel delivers great here. Everything is understandable and the sheer risks he takes to put different styles into one film is exactly what is needed. It's exactly what makes it great. This movie is different, it takes risks, it's extremley creative and the flaws make it feel way more organic and thus, lending it a true voice. Now yes of course, movies are a question of tastes, but it felt a bit of a stretch to me that you did not recognize actually what was done here. Then again to each his own tastes of course. But I believe we need more scrappy movies like these. Keep it up, mate.
