Aside from the massive amounts of talent and style, she was always sheer class, on and off stage. She may be gone, but she has legendary status which will never die.
Well said RIP Tina❤
... Thank you for saying that... my words exactly. She came from nothing and became a legend. And yes, she did it with CLASS all the way.
Gracious too
simply the best
Gone but never forgotten 💔 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Tina was an absolute superstar and a blueprint for a lot of the girlies of today
sadly the girlies of today are the opposite of Anna Mae...violent talentless & tacky egomaniacs
Tina is one of my heroes. May she rest in power. 🙏🏻💙
What a genuinely lovely woman. RIP Tina. ❤
RIP Tina. Thank you!❤
I'm at that age where a lot of the icons of my time are dying, it's inevitable but very sad.
May I ask how old are you now
I was thinking the same thing! You born in the 70’s?
I feel the same😢. Guess who will be the next?
Same . We are here one moment and gone the other
Same here hun xx i hate it 😢
There will never be another one like her. Even today's artists can't touch her. Miss you Tina but you're music will live forever ❤
Absolute truth!!!
👍👍

She lived her life on her terms. What an icon. Classy, funny, talented, a ray of light. Dancing with Bowie I bet.
Sinatra did it his way too. O well. "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" Hebrews 9:27!
"And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."
Revelation 20:15!
REPENT AND RECEIVE JESUS AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOUR TO HAVE YOUR NAME SECURED IN HIS BOOK OF LIFE!
THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY!
BELOVED! PLEASE DON'T DIE WITHOUT JESUS IN YOUR HEART!
ST JOHN 3:16! 🙏🏼🙌🏼❤️
Such a hot shit!! (said with the deepest respect queen!)🙏❤️
@@SOULRELIEF22 MEH Sinatra was lucky
I believe they did get a room ❤️
David Bowie seemed to adore her. Yes, they are in Heaven singing together.
She lived her life to the fullest ❤ and she said her happiest moments were after she retired, what more can one ask from life ? She will be missed
She was 77 in this interview. That's insane. The flawless skin, the dance moves, the vibrancy. A classy and incredible woman.
Also after health problems that disfigure a common man and, or woman, phenomenally beautiful ❤️
oh come ON flawless skinn. Those cheeks are so blown up with botox that I wonder how she could even smile
Rest In Peace, Tina Turner. She was a definition of fire.
She was overcoming a recent battle of cancer, a stroke and total kidney failure which resulted in a transplant. What a still powerful woman
Right? Her speaking voice is just so commanding and powerful.
In 2018 the death of her oldest son Craig by suicide, she was a fighter. Much love ❤️
Given her health issues I truly hope that she was able to enjoy her retirement years at home with her husband. A rest well deserved…RIP 🙏
She did enjoy it for about 5 years then the health woes began
I saw Tina Turner live in 1990 in the UK....such a class act! RIP Anna Mae. You were a legend in your own lifetime.
Bullshet stop telling lies ya
Me too at Wembley. Class act.
A highly intelligent, fascinating and brilliant performer. I've watched her interviewed several times, she was a remarkable woman and talented in so many ways, not just as a singer, but as a brilliant speaker as well. Her fight through adversity and how she came through Ike's abuse of her is legendary. RIP Tina, millions around the world will miss you, your music and what you stood for.
Tina was the epitome of living to the fullest! An extraordinary American Black woman who took hold of unending possibilities to become a multicultural ICON.
Tina was and will always be "Simply the Best", she really really was an amazing woman.....may she RIP... 💗
Such good people who are willing to take Tina under their wings and help her elevate to the stardom she wish to be and deserve to be. The world has a serious empty space now she has departed...for sure she will be welcomed by people familiar to her and live on.
I did not know she was such an awesome, unassuming, normal, sweet lady. So authentic. RIP dear Tina
This clip moved me to tears of joy, because she is just so lovely, humble and graceful 😌
Many who've met her said the same thing
Even old interviews over the last 50 yrs you watch she’s always been this humble just sweet always humble a smile even when she talks about ike she never trashes him but stays truthful about everything that happened. She was definitely a fighter and had to go through a lot to get to where she did❤
She was the epitome of resilience and endurance. Rest EASY Queen❤
Hey there! I came across your comment and I just had to reach out and say hi. Your perspective really caught my attention and I would love to get to know you better. Would you be interested in chatting sometime? Looking forward to hearing back from you! 🤗 0:22
Nowadays young people say "legend" every time a person does something they admire. They have no real concept of what legend really means. Tina embodies that word as well or better than anyone else. Rest in Love. You'll be missed . . .
Watching her gives me goosebumps. What a star
Tina Turner was always smiling. Regardless of the topic, good or bad, she always smiled. She appreciated all of the adulation she received and never let it get to her head. She is one of a kind. Distinctive in voice, looks, performance, everything. She is the best.
Yes! I couldn't have said it better. So special. ❤️
Even in death she will outlive most of us! Her music & videos of her performances, legacy will never die ❤

😩 such a lovely tribute Jonathan 😘 an amazing talented lady. Wish I’d of seen her in concert 🥲
Pure class, pure talent, pure humility and I've no doubt you saved many women with your story. God bless you Tina, you're one of a kind and we will forever miss you.
In 1973 I heard and bought the Nutbush city limits album I was 22 years old and followed her music throughout my life which helped me in good and bad times. In the interview here we never heard her utter a bad word about Ike, she was a lady of humility and compassion and a model for humanity. She will be sadly missed but NEVER forgotten. We love you Tina.
Love the audience for giving this fabulous woman all her flowers!👑🎤💐
She was an all round class act!
Tina Turner has earned her rest and her wings. I've loved her all of my life. What a blessing we have lived in the time of Tina Turner - blessed to have witnessed her musical gifts and loving spirit.
What chemistry between David and Tina! That's real love right there. What the world needs.
I agree, better than with Mick Jagger. Bowie seemed sincere, respectful and genuine.
Wow, I never saw this before but what a great interview, Jonathan has a knack for making his guests feel relaxed and comfortable, and she has such an amazing personality. A life well lived.
She had such Grace and a quiet dignity, yet at the same time she was this powerhouse. I don’t think we will ever see the likes of Tina again. I’m beyond upset that she has passed away
Her death hit everybody hard. Not many stars have that affect on people.
It's crazy to miss someone you've never met❤
This was a brilliant interview. The host was in many ways for more respectful and kind than many American TV show hosts.
I agree. I'm not normally a big fan of JR but he handled this interview well.
Maybe apart from Oprah the rest of American talk show hosts are artificial and as fake as my grandpa's false tooth
I don’t like how he asked her about Ike. I wish he didn’t ask her.
The Ike story is the inly thing that many hosts hammered on as if she hadn't over come that life for decades alreadyz. She met Erwin Bach in 1986 in Germany when he picked her up with his companies car. And they lived together fir 27 years and were married fir 10 years. So
37 years happiness with Erwin Bach and all they talk is about a marriage that had decades decades decades died before. Why do people need that old story, why do they hold on to that? Tina has walked on long ago and has gotten all she wanted on her own due to her struggles and incredible talent and strength and hard hard work without any drugs or alcohol, as she said proudly when she received an award.
He only mentioned ike cos she’s there talking about the show about her life and career so he naturally asked if that would be covered, in fact she brought him up first. She appreciated the chance to talk about it for other people. They would’ve cleared everything they were going to talk about.
She is one of the most real people of music.....beautiful inside and out. Love her. ❤ RIP TT.
Simple music can make you sing, simple hug can make you feel better and simple thing can make you happy. i hope my simple "Hello" bring smile on your face 😊 0:22
Standing ovation just for showing up ❤ icon
She’s an icon. I’m 42 years of age and there aren’t many left. Cher? Kylie? Elton? Madonna? I’m just glad that I’ve been alive to witness them. Popular music these days will never create icons such as these. It’s very sad.
Same age as you and agree. Sadly one by one icons of our time are disappearing. However the younger generation would argue they have their own icons like Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran etc
@@whathappendnext5887 Yes, but not on the scale of Michael Jackson or Bowie. These guys changed pop culture, not just be part of it. That, to me, is true iconography!
Try Courtney Hadwin.
@@petebradt Sorry, I don't know who that is!
@@paddysworld3978 I hear you man. MJ, Prince, Bowie, Kurt Cobain then you have bands like U2. Just for fun though I’m trying to think who could possibly fit the bill for the current generation. Kanye? He certainly changed the sneaker game. Adele?
Forever beautiful, strong and an amazing woman. Rest in peace Queen 🙏🏿😢
RIP Miss Turner, Your Simply the Best!! ❤🌹🙏🏻
A month off 78 years old and not a wrinkle in sight....good genes or what.
The LIONESS is gone. 😢😢😢
Farewell legendary Queen 😢Thank you for the music and your inspiration...your songs have helped me thru hardships in life. You're loved and terribly missed! You were and always will be the best!
Such a remarkable woman she really was so much talent. A shining light has left the stage. You were definitely the best Tina. Thank you for your music and voice and your moves. 🇬🇧
I’m still in a saddened shock but fully understand that we are not eternal, no one.
Despise my lack of opportunity to see her perform.
I am grateful that her genuine persona and remarkable talent and artistry are ETERNALLY CAPTURED on video for posterity.
She will continue to provide humanity with moments of happiness and joy, sprinkled with gems of wisdom.
Thank you, Ms. Tina!
She had it all, great entertainer, beautiful Lady, infectious smile, amazing voice!!! RIP Tina, we'll love you forever!!!❤❤❤❤
I think she’s the only celebrity who has died where I have felt a profound loss. I saw her in concert 24 years ago and she blew me away. What a singer, what a performer and what an incredible human being she was after everything she endured. The world is a poorer place without Tina in it. She was classy right until the end. ❤
I feel the same. A real loss❗️
HER DEATH WAS AS SHOCKING AS MICHEAL JACKSON PRINCE AND WHITNEY HOUSTON
Yes, me too. I really felt sad.
I still cry for Tina. Especially when I see her with Erwin and hear her singing and performing. I listen and watch her EVERY day .
Her, Whitney and Bowie really touched me too ❤
Lucky to have seen great Tina perform. Classy talented and BEAUTIFUL. From that day she became my role model. She inspired me greatly. Much love Tina. So much love. Simply the Best.
One wonders what was running through Ike's mind as he watched Tina totally eclipse his own performance career. She became a rock queen and he became a...well, you chose the word.
Excatly hun he was a nasty man
He never got over her success, their son said Ike watched old Ike and Tina performances almost daily for years until he died.
@@edmundsishange3608 My goodness, so sad for him and astonishing for her. Life does have its twists and turns. Thanks for the thought, Edmund.
Maybe, he felt betrayed that she didn't like the hits she had with him
We love you Tina-what a fabulous, fabulous talent-you really were the best!💝
Tina had such a big presence onstage that I never realized what a tiny person she was. We've truly lost a treasure.
Her unique personality her powerful voice her Unstoppable energetic Spirit her loss it hurts, thanks Queen for increasing my knowledge in music & buddhism 🙏🏼
A beautiful lady tina turner I'm so sad shes passed away you was part of my teenage years in the 80s rest in peace fly high now singing with the Angels thank you I will never forget you 😢 ❤❤🙏🕊🌹
I refuse to accept that she's gone. She was - is - a beautiful soul. Pure class. She's alive. But in another world. You are loved, Queen.
She did a version of 'He Lives in You' from the Lion King - feels fitting to how her legacy will live on
Everyone, famous or not, will always be alive. If you are Born Again, Saved by Jesus Christ, you will eternally in heaven. If you are not, your eternity will be eternally in hell! Choose Life, choose Jesus! Time is very short! Maranatha!
Then I'm going to hell. Because I don't believe in your crap.
@@oksills Amen.
@@oksills yes, but she became a Buddhist.
Anyhow , God Judges.
Tina you will be missed 😢thank you for the wonderful music ❤❤ RIP Anna Mae 😢😢😢
Tina had the most lovely husband. How many men would give their wife one of their kidneys? I'm sure they're both glad they eventually married. Oprah said she married for security. She was one of the biggest (if not the biggest) singer in Europe. She didn't need to marry for security. She loved that man from 1st sight but she was hesitant due to her previous abusive marriage. This was a lovely interview. Jonathan was so kind to her.
A great rock legend and a great human being. Stunningly beautiful and always a lady. May Tina forever Rest In Peace. Many blessings. We love you. 🧡🧡🙏🙏
Wow she is such a beautiful soul. So humble. RIP Tina Turner.
"When you leave...you leave like you came". That statement is as narcissistic as it gets. She had her own traumas in her life before meeting Ike...but she never chose to become him. God bless her beautiful soul 🙏💚💌
Tina always had a beautiful smile and knew how to keep the crowd involved in her show. A beautiful talented singer dancer who overcame so much to bring us great intertainment! God bless her soul. ❤ 🕊⚘
I felt sad when I read the fabulous Tina Turner died as she has been my favourite female artist through the years.
My friend said, she was 83 and she had good innings, but I said, yeah but it's Tina Turner.
Apparently, when Tina and David were dancing up close and personal he whispered in her ear " My cock is still sore"
I have read that exact same thing about what was whispered elsewhere too lol
What an enormous talent. Such respect for the lady! RIP.
That brought a tear to my eyes what a legend.
Great tribute to Tina Turner 💕
Damn 😢 this one stings. I don't mind admitting.
Rest in peace❤ she is and will always be remembered as a legend!
Tina always with tonns of energy and great smile.
R.I.P Tina.
What a legend
Love, love, love Tina!!! She will be missed.
What a great, energetic friendly lady. Rest in piece Mrs Turner ❤
Its very hard to imagine a life as TT says on buses planes trains cars etc no time at home....money in the bank sure but i cant imagine how nice it must have been for her to retire and enjoy down time at home.....
She was so sweet and inviting Tina will surely be missed.!!!
Wow to think she is just 3 years away from her 80th birthday here is crazy ❤
Simple music can make you sing, simple hug can make you feel better and simple thing can make you happy. i hope my simple "Hello" bring smile on your face 😊
Love Tina 🤙🏻💃🏾🙏🏾🙏🏻😊 I wish he focused more on her solo career… I thought it was a bit odd how he focused mainly on the controlled time…
Are you seriously asking Tina about Ike Turner?! Even after all those years you want her to repeat old ground just to get her to tell the same old tragic story on your channel. It's not like you didnt already know the answer to the question already. It was pretty much known that the woman hated being asked about her abusive past.
What a beautiful soul! RIP
What a legend. I feel sad. She was so vibrant and alive on stage. So glad I got to see her concert in 90’s.
“I will love you till I die, I will see you in the sky…” that’s the soundtrack angels must be chanting tonight and forever!
She will deeply be Missing.
I feel sad That All our legends, figures and rôles models are leaving 😢😢😢😢

She was a special human being, incredible human being.
Jonathan Ross always is so respectful of his guests. Wonderful interview. RIP Tina Turner ❤
I was also lucky enough to see Tina in concert seated right in front of the stage, she was amazing, she danced & sang around the stage all night...Such a beautiful woman inside & out.
RIP Tina Turner 💜💜

I didn't know Tina had a stroke until yesterday
I know just how hard it is to cope with having a stroke because I had two of them myself 😢😢😢
