I look at this game the exact same way I did the UGA vs. Tennessee game. Tennessee scored 52 points, Bama committed 17 penalties, Tennessee recovered a fumbled punt etc., and still only won by 3. Tennessee wasn’t getting those things vs. UGA and they didn’t. TCU scored 51 points vs. Michigan, got 2 pick 6’s, recovered a fumble on the 1 yard line, rushed for like 250 yards etc., and only won by 6. Those things aren’t happening vs. UGA. Dawgs on top 42-24.
Very respectable take coming from a Tcu fan, but I would like to point out that you take away turnover points for both teams and it’s 37-23 TCU. I’m not here to debate Georgia, I think they will win also, just wanted to clarify that I think TCU handled Michigan pretty well in my opinion because the wolverines needed TCU turnovers to stay in the game.
UGA win streak dates back to the playoff game vs Michigan last year. So we currently have a 16 game win streak. A win Monday night ties the Program record at 17.
Yeah, I think they know that and just made a slight mistake. That's what makes the most sense because 14 would certainly be under 15, not above it, so I think what happened is they meant it to be 16, but they're displaying 14 for whatever reason. TCU starters may be able to put up a fight against Georgia. The difference will be the 2nd and 3rd 4 and 5* players that don't start. As a 55 year huge Alabama football fan, I will be pulling Georgia because the better they look the better Bama looks when we ether beat or even lose to them.
@Josh...I'd like to see you clarify your comment on Marvin Harrison Jr. a little more. I can only assume that you believe MHJ was absolutely torching UGA. I would contend that he had a phenomenal 19 minutes of play (minus the fumble that was .05 second from disaster). Do you know when his last catch was? I was shocked to realize this as well but it was the 10:57 mark of the second quarter. So he went almost the entire 2nd quarter without a catch, then played the entire 3rd quarter without a catch. So to say he was going to greatly affect the outcome, ehh, he was trending in the wrong direction. And was the hit questionable, absolutely not, legal football hit and if you watch the backline replay again, he steps out of bounds without being pushed (would that have affected the flag, no, probably changes it to unnecessary roughness). Why Stroud threw him a lame duck, on his back foot, 32 yard rainbow is the question people really should be asking. All that being said, what a phenomenal game. OSU played about as good as they had all year, got (almost) every break they needed and still couldn't come away with the victory. Pundits and commentators seem to be missing this point when discussing this game. Case and point is the fact that Bennett outplayed Stroud and barely gets mentioned. Crazy thing is (also why Smart immediately chastises him) Bennett made a few bad decisions that had he executed properly would have most likely put the Bulldogs ahead by a substantial margin.
Hope Georgia has a 6’3” CB to put on Johnston. Johnson a freshman had Johnston on lock. As soon as our seniors got on him he started going off. Ringo will be on Johnston and this matchup will decide where he gets drafted.

Don’t think I want to bet the money line , but what do yall think about the 63.5 o/u? I can see this being a high scoring game if TCU can keep it halfway close.
@yercaddict a bit, yeah. Tcu has more recievers and dbs that break 20 mph than any team in cfb, and they have the fastest player. It's a big deal because that's what makes tcu so good. This is the championship game, the fact he doesn't know this is surprising
If statistics mattered then Air Force would be the best rushing team in the country and nobody would be able to stop them. Anyone think Georgia couldnt stop Air Force? Stats are great but how many people prior to the game against TCU said that Michigan was the best team in the country. Ohio St was going to get blown out by Georgia and it was going to be smash mouth downhill running in Georgia vs Michigan in the natty. TCU can run the football on Georgia. No they wont go for 250+ but if they get 150 that will help them in the passing game. Georgia is the better team on paper and honestly on the field I said at the beginning of the season they should win it all again. To me TCU is the 1999-2000 OU Sooners. No one gave them a chance either and we all know what happened. TCU can win but they will have to throw it around and Duggan will have to have a big game with his legs. I hope TCU wins but I think that Georgia if they play their game will win.
While on paper that might look nice, lets be realistic, Georgia and Ohio State hardly play passing teams and I wouldn't say either had their pass defense tested until that game...I don't think you want to draw this into a shootout from the start. TCU on the other hand played many pass first teams and will probably be the most pass tested defense Georgia has played. I think to be conservative is their best option an by the 4th Bennett will be able to scramble often as TCU doesn't have the depth to last on defense if Georgia is pounding them all game..I wouldn't be shocked if this game becomes a classic last minute win.
@@gorillajay9689 Yeah, Georgia is in the east and they played two teams that could pass. However Mike Lynch air raid always gets shut down against good defenses so I wouldn't really consider that.

@@TheMCJ2011 Pretty sure Smart is only picking kids that will play well in the system. Why do you think he goes so light in the portal. He wants to build and mold kids that are bought in

If TCU gets an early lead it'll be a game down to the wire. If Georgia gets more than a 7 point lead early its over.

Great analysis. First time checking you out but I’ll be back
I see 11 teams that have B2B National titles. Curious to know how many of those have had the same starting QB for both titles
Shouldn’t Georgia have 16 game winning streak not 14
I Was confused too
I believe bowl games don't count. Regular season games only

@@forwardthinkingtrucker I think they do count a streak is a streak if you lose a game then the streak is over
Stephen, yes that’s accurate bowl games do absolutely count on win streaks.

Georgia is going to win this game but I would definitely take TCU and the 12.5

Thanks for emphasizing Fort Worth, can’t tell you how many people don’t realize how far FW is from Dallas (you don’t confuse Tuscaloosa with Birmingham is what I always tell people lol)
I said Georgia by 7 because I still think this will be a Dawg fight. TCU has defeated a lot more rank teams than Georgia but despite Georgias # of struggles, they always find a way to win.
Georgia beat 6 teams ranked in the final CFP poll, TCU only beat 3 (Texas, Mich, Kansas State). So they only went 3-1 against ranked opponents
Bud early season rankings don't matter at the end. Otherwise A&M would still be relevant
Dawgs by 58 lmao 🤣
I’ll take Georgia to win, TCU to cover, and I would take the over on the 62.5
I completely agree and have already made these bets. But I also bet tcu on the money line. Go frogs!!
I want to say they cover, but I just don’t see it. I can see Georgia just running the ball down their throats the first half for a 21-7 lead and then opening up the second if needed. But Georgia will dominate time of possession and TCU won’t be able to get going. Georgia will game plan for Duggan and his running. 38-17.
@@user-tz2zz5ij1s I didn't see OSU hanging with GA either yet they sure did.
@@keithzastrow every game is different. Besides what really helped big OSU was Stroud becoming a mobile QB out of no where. Georgia was having to make adjustments on the fly. TCU doesn’t have any surprises like that that. They go in knowing Duggan can run. I hope I’m wrong as I want to see a great game, I just have the feeling Georgia is going to outmatch TCU. I think Georgia stops TCU a lot more than TCU stops Georgia. I’m a fan of neither, I went to A&M, but I’m rooting for TCU as that’s where my sister went.
over maybe. TCU + 14 loser
Die hard TCU fan here. I will say this was the most articulate arguments in favor of Georgia's victory. That being said, the beauty of football is sometimes we witness amazing things on the field that statistics cannot explain. The only thing that can explain it? The HypnoToad!

it has been amazing it's 38-7. Duggan can't throw on his back. 3 sacks and 2 int

Give me UGA 42-16
UGA TCU, Georgia vs Texas, Dawgs vs Frogs, Blue State vs Red State... LETS GO! LETS GO!!!
Georgia does have the stats, no doubt. But they did also only play just 2 ranked teams in the regular season. So, something to consider.
How many ranked teams did TCU play lmao, if you look at the current top 25 teams, UGA has 6 wins including their most recent win against Ohio State
All that matters are how many CURRENT ranked teams they have, which is more than TCU by a good bit.
ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..... counting ohio UGA has 6 teams still in the top 25. tcu only has 3 counting Michigan and they won and lost to ksu. Pre-mid season hype with a bunch of cupcakes early on ruin rankings. One teams schedule just held up better. "So, something to consider."
@@sec436 TCU played 5 in regular season, UGA played 2. What do you mean?
@@TheMCJ2011 it is not determined by current ranked teams. The schedule is the schedule. And comparing strength of schedule, TCU had a harder pathway.
TCU starters may be able to put up a fight against Georgia. The difference will be the 2nd and 3rd 4 and 5* players that don't start. TCU does not have the backups that Georgia has and rotating players will allow Georgia to keep players fresh and rested especially in the 4th qtr
just like they did against Ohio St outscoring them 18-3 to win the game and will win back to back national championships! GO DAWGS!!
To me, the betting line in this game has setup written all over it. The casuals are looking at the feel good story of TCU, Georgia struggling with the Suckeyes, and they think 13 is WAY too many points. Georgia wins 34-20 or 37-20...something in that ballpark.

Harrison went 25 minutes without a catch before he left the Peach Bowl. I know you know, that, but I wanted readers to see that stat.
What about that 1/2"?
You want to win?? Put Downtown in! Straight up!
"He talks like a horse"😂😂
So you’re saying Derius Davis isn’t the fastest player on either team?!?!?!? He almost ran 23mph earlier this year…
.......@Davis Duncan........How the fuck do you ALMOST run 23mph?
Arian Smith runs a 4.28 Davis runs a 4.39
If Georgia makes mistakes then tcu covers ,tcu won't

This aged like fine wine....
Two simple words, Go Dawgs!
Well, this aged well... 65-7 Dawgs
Do you watch SEC football? Tennessee?
@@gorillajay9689 Yeah, Georgia is in the east and they played two teams that could pass. However Mike Lynch air raid always gets shut down against good defenses so I wouldn't really consider that.
