This guy is delusional. I've said it all week. If Beck dosent throw those 2 interceptions against UF they win 61-10 instead of 34-20. Those UF players were putting their life on the line trying to beat UGA.
@ I don’t think he’s delusional but respect your opinion. He’s one of the best in the biz and love his show!! Was more so saying that Georgia is at their best when picked against and I know players on that team listen to pate. This will be good fuel for the fire 😊
Why is everyone so concerned about which team is picked to win? Both teams are good enough to beat the other. If both teams play well, it's gonna come down to Ole Miss' ability to stop GA's run game and GA's ability to apply pressure to Ole Miss' QB. Neither team can afford to make multiple turnovers. Carson Beck better not throw 3 INTs against Ole Miss.
@@Deep.PurpleWhat astounded me in the Bama game was how awful Beck was. It was the worst QB performance I've seen by Georgia in many years. Despite that, the Dawgs nearly pulled it off. That's why Vandy beating the Tide didn't really surprise me.
Watch film on Beck's interceptions. Half are on his decision, the other half are tips or receiver misreads. Also, stats can be misleading without considering the opponent they were generated against.
From Columbus an old UGA grad here. I can't fault you Josh. I have no idea which Carson will show up. He's either hot as Chickin Comer's or as cold as Buck ice. He'll lose at least one more game this year.
I wouldn't expect such an overreaction to Georgia's run game from Josh Pate. Did Jesse take a week off? We hold you to a higher standard. This is Brandon Walker-esque. Georgia's lack of production on the ground is due to two factors converging. First, we have a 12-team playoff now, which means Georgia may have to play 17 games to win a national title. When running back U was established in the 1980s, that number was 12 games. Last year was 15; before the playoffs, it was 14. That's a massive workload added to everyone's shoulders. Running backs are going to feel that more than most players. Second, Georgia is banged up. Roderick Robinson hasn't played all year. Branson Robinson is out now with an injury and still doesn't look like himself after the injury that ended his 2023 season before it began. So Georgia is down to 3 running backs, only two of which were highly-touted recruits. Trevor Etienne didn't play in the second half last week. Nate Frazier has been banged up at times this year as well, to the point where he missed the Alabama game. So far this year, Etienne has surpassed 4 YPC in 6 of his 7 starts (5/6 in the SEC). He has 453 yards and has 5.1 YPC on the year, though that number is skewed by the Tennessee Tech game. He also has 130 receiving yards. Frazier has passed 4 YPC in 5 games this year (3/5 SEC games). He has 4.8 YPC on the year, again slightly skewed by the Tennessee Tech game. Georgia can run the ball if it commits to it. The problem is that they can't. The potential 17-game season was already going to prompt Georgia to adjust its running back workload, but injuries forced them to adjust the workload further.
I’m thinking it depends on which version of each team shows up. Y’all have played incredibly well on occasion and looked almost pedestrian on others. The Rebels have been even more up and down at times. I’m thinking the Dawgs are the better squad but the Rebs have home field advantage and a better offensive scheme. There’s scenario aplenty for Georgia to be upset but I don’t see it happening. Dawgs take it, and I can’t even say if it’s a close one or a blowout lol 😆 I’d love to be in Oxford to see it in person though ! RTR
