If you want to understand how it navigates I would recommend a video by Dyson about the 360 Eye robot vacuum. It basically follows a quart pattern and changes its direction when it sees a wall. This way of navigation seams to be important because in that way the 360 camera on the Eye or the Vis Nav can see contrasts from different directions.

Good to see dyson jumped into action when all the bad reviews on places like best buy and the youtube videos.
I was hopping this thing would work well given most dyson products work well. But after seeing how good the "Dreame X40 Ultra" is now im looking more at that.
Now seeing how well the dyson is working suction wise all most want to get 2 one for vac and one for mop. Or can just get dyson and mop my self.
I recommend to schedule different room in different times of the week. To don't have to empty the completely full bin.
would there be any reason to get this for a hardwood and laminate house. No carpets, just one small rug.

Glad to hear that it's doing much better! I'm extremely horrified though that you flipped it on its front on that hard surface. The instructions say not to do that so you don't damage the camera that sticks out😮

In Auto mode the squechy ok the side should pop out after it cleaned the inneres of the room. Because after that it does the parameters.

It would be interesting to see how well the squeechy helps to pic up dust or bigger particles on carped. If you have insights in that I would be highly interested in that.

Yes. I love dyson
I knew it was a software issue, the sensors and camera is what most cars use to self drive themselves and park and do quite impressive stuff. Most people would blame dyson not having lidar but it was calibration.
Basically all self driving cars do so with lidar.
@@twennywonn except they don't....they use cameras and sensors. The most advanced production cars don't use them like tesla for example
they need to have a sensor so it doesn't back up into the port, and into the vac itself. less cleaning the vac. but a self empty dock station would be best.

I have a Eufy S1Pro for downstairs (Hardfloors and Rugs) and it's mopping is unbeleivable. .
I was looking at this Dyson for upstairs it's upstairs is mainly carpet.

Don't flip it on hard floor u will damage camera, they actually warn about it 😂
