We should do a carpet comparison between that and the top Roomba
I’m a big fan of the dust heat map
The technology you are refearing to that let Dyson vacuums help to not clock filters that much, can be called “cyclone technology". There are some different models that can be differentiated, but in essence, by modeling the air path, such vacuums create cyclones that separate air and dust particles that decelerate and end up in the dustbin in the end. Because of that technology, Dyson could create its first bagless vacuums. Today, of course, not only Dyson vacuums have this technology, and while Dyson may be still leading in that aspect the bagless station of the Roborock S7 uses the same technology (as well as many cordless vacuums in general). Great video, thank you!
thanks for explaining!!
Not sure about the roborock customer support so please keep us posted on your experience (waiting for that video) but please remind people that the roborock s8 maxv ultra does come with a 5 year warranty. I notice you don’t mention that.
Thanks for your update!!
That’s what Kia owners say too. “It’s got a 10 year warranty” then spends 3 years in and out of the repair shop 😂😂
@@BlazingNina That would only make sense if KIA was the top 3 best cars. You can barely insure a KIA. So… there’s that. 🚙 Roborock S8 Maxv Ultra is rated one of the best vacuums on the market so mentioning it has a 5 year warranty on that specific model is meaningful to some people. Just saying.
He posted and it sucks!!!!
@@vasiliy2394 Well, there goes that. Going to check it out now. Thanks buddy
I don't think there is any need to take the roller off and clean the airways when the bin gets full, as when you empty the bin and turn it on the backed up dirt will have space to sucked into the bin.
14:55 when u said this I fully understood you
I'm curious on how the Dyson 360 compares with the Roomba S9. The S9 is one of the best for vacuuming due to its D shape design and wide brush roller. I would love to see a comparison video of the two.
Where can I buy the air blower to clean things out? It’s a perfect fathersday gift
amzn.to/4eeOD1x
Does it do a better job than the high-end Dreame and Eufy?
Further evidence that it really needs a self-emptying dock. Love the power it seems to have but seems to require a lot of user maintenance. My Roombas are much more "hands off" with their self-emptying docks.
Not if you empty it every few days or close to it being full. Its quick easy and doesn't need much maintenence, just go over your bin and press a button
I agree 100%. The problem is that if they include a self-emptying dock the price will probably be over $2500. I am sure their next version will have it though. Maybe an integreted mop too.
Exactly, $2500...for that kind of money, it better make lunch..lol
@@kirkbullard4302 its 1.199$ hardly 2500

Okay, so the vacuum looks great. What about the navigation? I’m waiting for the Rommba j9+ to arrive, ultimately because the reviews say they have the better object avoidance and doesn’t get stuck often. Several reviews I watched with Dyson showed it getting stuck frequently.
Because the vac came out like a year ago but has only been good since the last few months due to the updates
@@jose-Maki Still looking for feedback regarding the navigation. Does the Dyson still get stuck on everything?
@@donvergara8182 it has a climb feature where it tries to climb over low objects like the legs in the video, i would turn it off and navigation has got better and is being updated. Personally a month ago or 2 i wouldn't buy it, now days with the latest version i would. The problem is dyson released it with bad software and it was junk and it was junk for like a year so all reviews are bad but how the robot is today its completely different. This channel basically shows the robot going from bad to good
@@jose-Maki Thank you. I really wanted the Dyson vac, I just didn’t want to have to babysit it. I’ve been searching for other reviews to show the difference as well. TBH, the way the channel reversed it’s original reviews made me think Dyson might’ve paid a little extra to the channel new to get their products moving again. It basically went from horrible bot to amazing in a week.
roomba will avoid small object like pet waste and iphone cords better than the dyson but the dyson has superior suction
Do you recommend this over dreame x40?
yes, if you only need vacuum.
Great review!
I still see it banging into a bunch of stuff. I thought a Dyson wasn't supposed to do that. I don't think it's going to go on sale anytime soon how difficult it is to get.
Have you changed your opinion on the value of this post updates? Is it worth the price tag of $1200?
So what robot mop would you recommend pairing with this? Was considering the combos from roborock but seeing your issues with them and having used dyson stick vacs at home, I'm open to multiple units
It will replace a vacuum once they make a self empty base. Also once they catch up to shark which they never do
I have a 1400 square foot home, will it be able to clean it like my Roborock S6 pure in one charge? What would you recommend for a new robot vacuum, my home is 95 percent carpet. Thanks
yes I love the dyson
You could have just turned it on....
It’s a great vacuum but who wants to deal with the dust bin?!?
