1:50 it's bad handwriting but I think it says "Passport Rush Charge" not clark. The arc connecting both sides of the 'h' is there, but barely visible, and you can see a vertical line on the left side of the 'a.' The 'g' has no "spine" and the tail is very faint but you can see at least the beginning of one in the dividing column between the item and the price.
Oh wow, I'm surprised this has less than 200 views. Very nice video, thanks! In your position I would have already halted the idea of this video, but you just positively went on and actually estimated and answer. Also, I love how you just started smiling more and more in the video as more and more guesses took place :D I hope your channel succeeds!
Flight prices were more expensive at the time. Nuuk does not have a long enough runway for most international planes, thus most people would have to get eventually rerouted to Kangerlussuaq, a military airport nearby. That is unless you take a stop in Rekyavik, Iceland first. Also right around 2013-2017, Icelandair's non stop offerings exploded due to it being a popular stop for cross Atlantic travel. With this expansion, it freed up its small fleet to trips like Nuuk. Nuuk is planned to open its expanded runway in 2024 which will also drive prices down, opening it up to more commercial airlines. So comparing what I had to pay to go to Iceland in 2016, $600/person on a black friday deal for a 1-stop flight in March vs the same price for a non-stop flight in this year in June. It's a weird example of flights getting cheaper, even though for most other areas, it has become more expensive.
I am almost positive the rush charge in the photo is about expediting the passport process. I know this is an option they offer as I have had to use it. I don't remember it being 400 though.
@@Kinophiles You actually used to be able to get same day turnaround on passports. The price looks about right. I don't know if this is still possible. You can get expedition through the passport office, or through an outside agency, which is what he probably used. He's in NY, and I think his passport would still be going through Philadelphia. The passport itself used to cost like... $90? It's $130 or so now, if I'm remembering correctly. In case anyone cares. 😂
It says "rush charge". It's shitty handwriting. This looks about right. As far as the flight charge is absolutely possible. Depends on time, day and how much the ticket seller hates him. Same day sales used to be ridiculous. Not sure how it differs to now. Ok, back to watching the rest!
That'll be approx. MYR 31,300 after converting to my country currency. My friend just came back from Iceland and it cost her approx. MYR13k. Tq for the video mate!

Yeah that makes a lot more sense 😅

Yeah I definitely thought it would be more straight forward when I first thought of the video idea, but you gotta see it through sometimes 😂
Absolutely fire video, can't wait to see your channel blow up
Appreciate that! 😁

Glad you liked it! 😁
Didn’t realize I had that question rattling around till I watched this. Keep it up!

Yeah it feels like the only logical conclusion 😅, but I'm also pretty sure that still doesn't mean you can get a new passport same day or am I wrong?

Awesome content brother! Stoked to be an early sub to a soon to be massive channel. Keep it up!
Thank you! 😁
Seems pretty obvious but the $400.00 charge was to rush getting a passport.
Kinda makes sense instantly, tbh.

Considering that Airbus holds more than 300 people I think the seller must have been making up for the lack of customers 😅

Ufff pretty expensive😂 but it seems worth it
I bet that Severance package made up for it anyways 😅
