Believe me, Police dogs are extremely well respected, and are taken great care of. It costs a lot of money to train them and each handler gets to keep his/her dog at home with them to look after, even after the dog retires. :)

Then blame the liberal law makers that stopped children of unfit parents being taken from them and put up for adoption.
