- Let the mods commence! The mods are coming to Sonic Forces on PC and to start it off, we have the first version of the Metal Sonic mod by none other than Beatz. This includes Metal Sonic's model from the game with his sfx and voice clips.

Story: This is in fact the real Metal Sonic and not an illusion. It escaped from the Death Egg and is not fully repaired,it's malfunctioning and that is why he's destroying Eggman's forces. While escaping, the Death Egg's security system mistook Metal Sonic for the real Sonic and the motion sensors helped with this. This MIGHT'VE caused the alarm on the Death Egg when the Avatar was trying to rescue Sonic and probably why Zavok decided to go to his cell. Metal Sonic's probably affecting the Egg Pawns to,they were given false info that Sonic escaped and when they saw Metal Sonic then the real one they got confused and are probably malfunctioning, this could be why they aren't working properly during this game's events. Who knows where Metal Sonic was this whole time...

Hibub Games Seeing how Metal Sonic appeared in some if the spinoff games after Heroes,I'd say he somehow escaped Team Dark and decided to just do his own thing. He's an unlockable character in the Riders series, maybe he somehow got into the competition and knowing him I think it's safe to believe he just wanted to prove he's the best.

Metal Sonic's ticked that Eggman replaced him with Infinite AND a fake Metal Sonic.
I kinda wish Metal Sonic would be a major villain again, like in Heroes or Sonic CD, I’m not counting Forces cuz that a fake metal sonic, and doesn’t even do anything outside of cutscenes and a boss fight

The real Sonic died and the resistance reactivate and reprogram Metal Sonic to fight against Eggman
Alternatively, the real Metal Sonic reactivated himself, learned that Eggman was sending a virtual fake to fight *_HIS_* nemesis. and Metal, natch, was having _NONE OF THAT NONSENSE!!_

I really dont get why the Metal Sonic you fight is fake, Eggman can just make a new Metal Sonic so Infinite making his own is just kinda weird. Metal Sonic is even on the box art, so what gives?!
DannyTheGameboy metal wouldn’t be able to do any of the attacks he did in the fight except the boost.

DannyTheGameboy It's possible eggman doesn't wanna make a new metal sonic cus he might end up turning on him again, a fake can't do that
I figure Eggman neglected to maintain and repair his creations when he found the Phantom Ruby and learned how to churn out entire armies with it. The real Metal was probably wrecked from the last time he fought Sonic, and was stashed away somewhere, still in pieces, because Eggman figured it would be way easier to make a new Metal with the Ruby's power than it would be to get the real one working again.

Yea....some people are having the same issue. Idk how to fix it, i guess i'm lucky that it works for me. For now all I can really say is just wait until there's a solution.

why you normal mode plays
1.) Because he's showcasing a mod, and 2.) Because there's no real difference between the two difficulties. I just picked up the game a couple days ago and I am *Destroying* Hard Mode. S Ranks across the board...!
