I've been following this project for a while and I always thought it was cool, but wow, its come a really long way. It didn't just extend the levels, it captures the true potential of these levels and gets creative. The expanded indoors section in Arsenal Pyramid and the whole mechanic with Shadow is insanely impressive. I can't wait to see this, and P-06 completed.
Would love to to see longer versions of all the levels like this cause that reimagined sunset heights level was absolutely beautiful

I actually love the Idea of a Character trying to Slow you down as you go through the Stage. Closest thing to a Shadow Boss fight we will ever get in the game.
Oh wow I'm impressed, I was expecting just extensions to the stages not a full blown reimagining, the segment where you're being chased by Shadow was super interesting. Its actually making me consider buying Forces on steam so I can play these
If only I actually remembered what the original stages were like for comparison... Just goes to show you how little of an impact the game had in the 3 hours it took me to beat it.

Even tho I consider this a great improvement over the original levels, I still don’t feel like this would be a big enough change in order to fully fix forces as it still feels like “Hallways: The video game” in certain aspects (particularly during the pyramid level). Still, love the fact that shadow is more involved in sunset heights as a stage hazard.
Most of the time, it's just hold boost button, it's not good

what i'm glad about is that it recognizes the huge speed and ability gap for sonic and the oc, like seen in arsenal pyramid, whenever sonic boosts, he leaves the oc behind, and they slowly catch up, and I do mean slowly
I can finally listen to the music while speeding along without it ending within 30 seconds
Man, these totally give Sonic Forces the epic scope it was seriously lacking.

I remember when everyone was complaining about 7 minute stages, but we never wanted 50 second stages.
Right 3-5 minutes would have been solid for every level

Now These Are A Step Up In Comparison From The Originals And This Is Coming From Someone Who Likes Forces. My Only Complaint Is The Some Areas Of The Levels Are A Little Too Empty. If More Assets Were Added In Said Areas Then Maybe I’d Say They’re Perfect. I Cannot Wait To See What’s In Store For The Rest Of This Mod.
Incredible. The custom parts of the level are actually better. And the overall scripting of the level is just as amazing as an official work.
While I don't hate Sonic Forces like most people do, I must admit that this is the Sonic Forces that we should have gotten.
I'd buy this version of Sonic Forces in a heartbeat ! Plus I think it would be AWESOME if we could unlock the other sonic crew members as bonus characters !
I actually would have preferred these versions of the levels more then the ones we actually got in game
Definitely one of the best level-extension mods and hope the moderate continue to expand future levels in this fashion. My only complaints are that the added sections feel a little empty, moreso in arsenal pyramid where there’s a lotta empty straight line boosting with not much to do. Sunset heights is pretty ok it just needs more city-scape scenery in the rail grinding section

There is more here and additional touches like the bomber planes and barbed wire in the sunset stage are fantastic for sure but then there is parts like the beginning of Arsenal pyramid where it still looks too linear for my liking. Still appreciate the effort to make forces a better game and hope the developer of the mod can keep up the good work so far.
I was following the sunset heights progress and i was so far pretty impressed on how it expands so well over the original design of the stage, but i didnt knew about the mini cutscenes and you chasing after Virtual Shadow and him attacking you in retaliation, that's just the cherry on top of this beautiful mod.
I could had loved if you had an actual chase mini boss battle against shadow all of the sudden but its ok because it makes more sense to just chase after him and maybe later on somebody can make a proper Shadow boss battle, i mean if somebody did a battle against Chaos 0 there is chances for a Shadow Battle as well.

If Sonic Forces was finalized
Bruh that's so much better than the original.
Now we got some more Mods & addons to the Sonic Forces Stages that should have appeared in the Official Game. Arsenal Pyramid & Sunset Heights becomes more longer, better & exciting then it was before.
For Arsenal Pyramid, the start of the level is much more extended as well as an addon Chase Sequence while heading inside the Pyramid Base, a 2D Section while in the Base but is brief. And Sunset Heights, it's the same at the start, but gets extended after heading towards the original end of the stage with a special cut-in scene where Sonic & Shadow (Phantom Ruby Version) cross paths & Shadow chases him (A strong resembles & reference to Sonic Adventure 2 where Sonic & Shadow met for the first time) & tries to attack Sonic with his Chaos Spear, plus a brief chase with the Areal Attack from the Egg Bombers & with a more sensible ending where Shadow is waiting for Sonic at the more original location then in the original.
The fans are definitely making Sonic Forces even more fun then it was when it was first released. I love all they are doing to it and I hope they continue making more Re-Imagined Stages in this game. Thank you for the showcase of this, Vel. You are enjoying this was well & wishing that all this was in the original game. Not sure when the next one will be. Only time will tell for the time being. Lol.

For once, these levels were interesting! This mod is a godsend.
Honestly the last half of Sunset hights won me over getting chased and attacked down by Shadow is the best

I actually liked Sonic Forces, but I always had an issue with how long the levels were even when I was defending the game to the depths of the Earth. Sonic Forces isn't a bad game, but mods like this shows just how much potential Sonic Forces had. If there's ever a definitive edition or a Sonic Forces Ultimate, SEGA showed get in touch with whoever made the mod to really make it a definitive version. I'm not claiming Forces is the best game, but I don't think it's the worst Sonic game either. I will say this about Forces, at least it's not broken and boring, both issues Sonic Boom Rise Of Lyric suffered from. I mean that games so bad, that not even I will defend it. I'm a huge loyal Sonic fan, but I'm not delusional lol.

@@garnet2779 not yo knock on the guy's gameplay or anything but there's quite a few alternate pathways in the stage that isn't shown. OP just goes through the straight way.

Where’d you get those lines that weren’t in the original? Did you get Roger Craig Smith, Travis Willingham, Cindy Robinson, & Kirk Thornton to do them? Or did you somehow found them?

cool vid. I'm learning how to make a boost style 3d Sonic game in Unity, and I'm wondering How or where do you get the extracted Sonic model and animations from Unleashed/ Generations, and put into Unity. I'm completely lost and the forums aren't helpful.
You can rip them yourself from any Hedgehog Engine game using similar methods. You need to extract the archives (depends on the game) and then use modelfbx in the correct version. Unity supports FBX files, you can just import them. Look for modding guides for Generations.

I personally enjoyed Forces, but I can definitely admit that if they only made the levels longer, then it would have been a more enjoyable game. The levels aren't to the extent of Generations, but it would have been the same, in the sense that it would have been a game with good gameplay and a pretty standard story. It's crazy that the fans can make a more interesting design and the devs themselves! I mean, the one with Sunset Heights where you could potentially have Shadow try to mess with you as you're going around the stage is a pretty interesting idea! Honestly, if they ever think about Remaking Forces with slight adjustments, I think it would actually turn out to be a good game, but at this point, I'm just ready for Sonic Frontiers.
