Stretching my twists on wash day is what helped me get passed bra strap Iength. I was stuck there for a year. I had to stop the messy lazy curly bun everyday bc those fairy knots would not let me be great.

Hi, Great blog. It would be good to see how you prepare your hair before blow drying it. Also, a step by step wash routine followed by you doing your go to protective style before wearing a wing for instance or having a good protective style which you would use for 2 weeks.

Some people go as long as one week or longer.as our hair is very dry and doesn't get dirty fast it is sufficient to cleanse it. ( condition it abt twice a month) Of course you do use shampoo but seldomly like once a month. Only time I add heat is when I sit under the dryer with a shower cap to do a deep condition. I deep condition once a month. Other than that my 4c hair is healthy without heat. I have a hand held blow dryer with the cool setting. I blow dry my hair after I wash it with cool air.

My hair grows 8mm a month. Nothing has ever worked to make my hair grow faster. It breaks at the ends, it's dry. I've had to cut my hair every 12-18 months for the last 17 years. I can't retain length.
Mist your hair daily with Aloe Vera Juice and seal in moisture with the oil of your choice and apply just a little of Blue Magic hair grease to your ends.
Check your diet, get your vitamin & hormone levels checked. Double check which birth control you're on. Drink more water, at least 2 litres a day. High dose vitamins, Water & oil saved my hair, keeping it damp, drenched in Ayurvedic oil & eating good.

@@francenegayle3866 try aloe vera juice to keep from getting fairy knots but stretching is best. You need both moisture and keeping a bit taut.

Try ayurvedic method. Check out curly proverbz and green beauty on RUclips. Also chazz is awesome has a lot of good advice.
Try rice water or wild hair growth oil
