Very thankful it weakened before reaching Maine and that it didn't cause more damage. Inland, we were totally fine. It was windy but not too bad and barely any rain.
😅😅😅😅😅😅
🙏
I didn’t think we had cyclones, but tropical storms, and hurricanes. At least, we do not have typhoons, and that’s a good thing.
LOL!! They're all the same thing. Just in different parts of the world. :) :)
I'm guessing, Cyclone sounds more Apocalyptic. 😂😂😂
Lol a hurricane is a typhoon silly 😂
theyre fear mongering by using another country's terminology for hurricane.
all over the world the climate is unpredictable...so we always prepare and be alert
Yeah try talking to haarp about what they are doing useing the weather as a weapon 🤡
Can you imagine how far this storm came & it’s still this strong???? Wow!!!
Most of them start off the coast of Africa.. this track is unusual, but not unheard of.
Not really. It's quite feeble.
Strong.....,WHAT?
How old are you, 10?!
It's not that serious stop getting brainwashed
umm imagine? its a normal occurrence in nature, mate. just look at the past 100 years...
Whenever there's a stray hurricane or a bad nor'easter heading into the New England coast, Scituate Massachusetts is always the go-to place for wave watching by the US news media.
Ppl always act so surprised when the ocean ocean’s. Like you’re living on an ocean front and act like you don’t see natural disaster coming
The person in that boat that they're still looking for was definitely surprised when the ocean went ocean. By the way, let's hope that they can find that person alive.
@@dwjoseph59 absolutely I hate to see ppl suffer but cmon like California has earthquakes and hurricanes every year. It’s unfortunate but it comes w the territory. Prepare or leave
I'm shocked to see vehicle parked under tree knowing what was coming.
The man died in Searsport Maine. Also he was trapped in his vehicle and it took a while for emergency workers to get them out. He died at the hospital 😔
Next week is what I’m most fearful for

I thought cyclones were a pacific thing
They are a pacific thing. In the Atlantic they are hurricanes
@@benloss2330Cyclones are found in both oceans if I remember correctly, but typhoons are in the Pacific as hurricanes are in the Atlantic.
Guess they think Cyclone sounds scarier. 😆
Called hurricanes when they develop over the North Atlantic, central North Pacific, and eastern North Pacific, these rotating storms are known as cyclones when they form over the South Pacific and Indian Ocean, and typhoons when they develop in the Northwest Pacific.

Whether it happens or not I hope New England gets massive amounts of snow and cold weather this year. Many people don't understand that certain diseases need to be killed, only deep freezers 20 below and under for a couple weeks at one time can certain larvae be killed for good as well as Airborne pathogens. Perhaps even covid-19?

Boating out in that in that small little dhingy dang
😮😮😮
They took their boat out against the storm?! Thats Chad asf, but i wouldve brought the boat ashore flipped it and tethered it to dock or tree. Hope they made it tho... that boat wasn't worth their lives 😢
They were using it to get to their boat.....
I do not like to sound like a typical "conspiracy theorist" or anything like that, but the people from New England and the Atlantic part of Canada need to make adjustments. These events are going to be more common and stronger. Let's say that you do not believe in climate change, and I respect that, but you need to prepare from now on for the worst. It is not common for a tropical storm to go to Cat 3 or 4 in less than 24 hours (is happening). The water temperature in some spots in the Atlantic is reaching 85 degrees, but it is only 80 degrees they need to form. El nin~o is not even at its peak this year and la nin`a the same (for now). I am down here in the Caribbean, and I prepare before the season and after the season for the next one.

"Post-tropical cyclone" oh look, even more words never used before.. lol *low pressure system*
No, thats 2 diffirent things.
A Post Tropical cyclone is a cyclone that no longer possesses sufficient tropical characteristics to be considered a tropical cyclone. Post-tropical cyclones can continue to carry heavy rains and high winds. Note: former tropical cyclones that become extratropical and remnant lows are 2 specific classes of post-tropical cyclones.
