I didn't know until I saw this that tripod solves can happen with less than 8 markers. It was amazing to see that solve of .20 with only 6 markers and no filtering necessary. 👍🏻
The simplest materials are those which are rough.
Better bet I’m about to put sunglasses on everyone now
Hahahah 😂
those with fake nose and mustache, please
more like Th'e'ndi huh😂
This is one of these tutorials/demo's that is so proficient that it borders between being inspiring and making You "throw in the towel"...
Wow
Great you got a new subscriber

Somehow i found it funny when you thanked each poster on blendswap!
I've been missing your tutorials, master! Thank you for taking your time to give us some more light into the trackings!
One of the most helpful blender Demos ever!!
So good to have you back. Have a good one.
So much good info here, Thanks! Please create more tutorials like this.
This is one of the best tutorials I have ever seen!!!
Really great break down. Man there is so much going on there I'd have to watch a dozen times...definitely bookmarking this for future reference. Thanks for the vid!
Such an amazing tutorial! I tracked a helmet on a head a few months back, but couldn’t figure out how to get the shadows right. Using a cryptomatte never occurred to me, such an awesome trick. Thank you for all the info!!!
OH MY GOD !
This is clearly BY FAR the best tutorial I have seen on this subject.
Pretty amazing work !
Thank you. :)
Sebastian what a great tuto! Perfectly dense, full of goodies.
Wow, this is just what I needed for a shoot I’m doing next week. I was stressing already about painting out face markers! Great tutorial.
did you make the shoot
How did it go bruh
dude i have no intentions on applying this technique but i have so much fun just hearing you and seeing you do it ! cheers!
THIS TUTORIAL IS SO DAMN GOOD!!! Thank you!! There’s such a lack of quality material on creative tracking in Blender. Please consider doing more camera + object tracking!! The whole section on making the mask move was SO inspiring. Had no idea you could use marker data to do that!!!
I'm so glad that RUclips recommended this tut. Thanks Mate.
Such an amazing tutorial!
Learned A LOT from this.

I am so glad you're back making tutorials! So long ago (about 9 years!), when you were "alcohol addicted", you were the first teacher I found that I watched over and over again to learn Blender for the first time. You were my first introduction to Blender for VFX! But being a Blender noob, I had to watch your tutorials many many times to pick up just some basics. Now I can understand more, and it's great to again see you and your teaching style! So clear (but kinda fast at points -- it's okay, I just keep replaying and replaying every few seconds ;)) and kinda funny. Keep making them please! Thank you and welcome back!
Hi, thanks a lot! Makes me happy you find it useful! :) Just a note though, I never was alcoholadicted, that was just a dude who uploaded the tutorials from the Blender training DVDs to his own RUclips channel. Which is both annoying and good, it is a bit of a ripoff, but on the other hand they are creative commons anyway, and this way they were available to more people. Anyway, cheers! :)
@@Blendfx Ooops, I'm sorry Sebastian, I didn't mean to support a ripoff! I had no idea! But watching your videos (over and over again) really was one of my first introductions/inspirations to Blender. So I'm still very thankful to you, and I'm glad, at least through one means, I found you. I gotta unsubscribe to that other dude now! I also have to buy more Blender bling to make up for my unintentional transgression ;) Take care!
Wow nice tutorial it helped a lot 🎉
Please more tutorials this was insanelly useful
From the master himself, thanks Sebastian
Woooooow, thank you for sharing. Subscribed for the next blender tutorial.
Thank you, this video was VERY helpful, an all in ONE tutorial, thank you and keep up the good work.😊😊☺☺
Nice work! When you showed the clip with the actor wearing the mask at the beginning of the video, I had a moment of not even recognizing that that wasn't the original short film, lol.
Great video. Danke

Wow that is soo amazing!! I also want to learn that! I watched the tutorial one time without remaking it and just the second time I will... hope it will work!

Mind blown. Although, I really felt like I was in over my head when it got to the compositing part.
Wow! I use Blender's tracking suite all the time because- *It's really good*- but I've never even tried to track surfaces like skin without tracking markers because it seemed crazy. I am blown away that you can do this xD

Hi Sebastian, we met years ago, when we invited you to come to Loop at Colombia in 2014. I send you transatlantic greetings... thanks for the tutorial :)
Hey Oscar, good to see you! I think of Loop every now and then. I am so grateful you invited me, it was great to be there. Even if it turned not quite the way you wanted, for various reasons... Greetings back, hope you are doing fine! :)
Please make some compositing tutorials too.
