    TRE - Trinity Railway Express & Northern Texas Traction Co. & T & P Station & Colorado Railcar DMU
    The Trinity Railway Express (TRE) is a commuter rail line in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
    It runs along a former Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific Railroad line that the cities of Dallas and Fort Worth.
    Equipment in this video:
    Engine 565 is an EMD F59PH - a four-axle 3,000 hp (2 MW) B-B diesel-electric locomotive built by General Motors Electro-Motive Division.
    Engine 570 is an EMD F59PHI - a 3,200 hp (2.4 MW) B-B diesel-electric locomotive built by General Motors Electro-Motive Division.
    RDC’s - The Budd Rail Diesel Car is a self-propelled diesel multiple unit (DMU) railcar.
    The Bi-Level Coach is a bilevel passenger railcar built by Bombardier.
    Car 25 - Motor Car Number 25, was operated by the Northern Texas Traction Company. The trolley car was built by the St. Louis Car Company in 1913. Number 25 carried passengers between Dallas and Fort Worth from 1913 to 1934.
    Car 411 - Parlor Car - In 1918 the North Texas Traction Company ordered 4 special first class cars to be trailers for 4 of their regular cars between Fort Worth and Dallas. At the last minute they decided to order a fifth car which was to become Car #411. These 2 car sets ran on a high-speed commuter trip between Fort Worth and Dallas.
    Colorado Railcar’s Diesel Multiple Unit (DMU) single level demonstrator is a self-propelled vehicle that can pull two other coaches with their two 600 horsepower (450 kW) Detroit Diesel engines. The single-level vehicles can carry up to 92 passengers.

    Wow TRE looked way different back than especially when Centerpoint DFW station only had one platform

    Wow 1000 and 1001. I actually got to ride in cab of 1000 and 570 back in 2000 before 9-11. Thanks for great throwback times.

    Awesome to see more footage of TRE's mythical UTDC Cab Cars. Just looking at them fills me with wonder. Even just photographs of 1000 and 1001 are very rare, so finding any actual videos of them makes me feel like I've found actual treasure. As far as I can tell, 1000 and 1001 are so strange and mysterious, that many people, even those who saw the units in person, don't even know they existed. That's saying something right there.
    The interior of that DMU car looks great. It would have actually been pretty cool if they had managed to get some of those in operation, or perhaps if Colorado Railcar hasn't collapsed, maybe TexRail could have used something like them instead of the bland Stadlers.

    I am so glad you managed to get the shots of a sign about the Texas electric railway car I think that's what it is I could be wrong or north Texas traction company they took it down I don't know why but they need to put it back up

    Okay I'm running a lot about the stations from these awesome videos you have posted and the trains themselves I just rode for fun when I was a kid I didn't really pay attention to all the details now I wish I did LOL

    12:36 At the time this was filmed where was urban car 411 being stored at and where is it located now?

      At the time this was filmed Car 411 was being restored under the highway across from the Ft. Worth T & P station.
      I believe the car is now on display in Burleson, Texas.

    Okay well I just saw an amazing shot they actually had the benches inside of the waiting area moved to where the tnp tavern now sits I was told that used to be the diner for the station many years ago

      Check out the Tandy Center Subway video. It was in Ft. Worth. It ran from February 15, 1963 to August 30, 2002.

      @@barrytrain662 I've seen it it's interesting it's the world's only privately owned Subway and probably the world's shortest Subway too LOL it was only 3/10 of a mile long still pretty cool my folks told me when I was just a little kid that took me on the McKinney avenue Charlie and the Tandy Subway but I have no memory of thathowever I do remember riding the tarantula trade when I was 5 years old from grapevines at the stockyards now that was a fun day did you film that train by the way?
