Carrie Owerko is one of my favorite Iyengar teachers! I always catch her workshops when she comes to Santa fe.
Her lighthearted persona balanced with an incredible knowledge of yoga and the human body always makes her class a journey in itself! What a fun way to get smarter in our practice!

It is rather incredible that with just a few moments of instruction these students were able to lift themselves off the floor. I think Carrie has to be commended for creating such a simple set of instructions to do this pose.

Your instructions are ace! I've been struggeling with Bakasana for months but with the help of this video I've managed straigth away to lift up!! Turns out, that I always had the hands to far away and the feet too much apart. Thank you so much!

I love how yoga teacher welcomes male students as well. When I first joined yoga in a room full of women, i was a bit nervous but my yoga teacher was so welcoming like her. Since then, I am in love with yoga.
