New to this Game - Thanks Terry King . Love your Humour, Tips & know How (knowledge) . Thoroughly enjoying your U-Tube presentation-this one picked at random. Looking forward to great outback Adventures , waiting on delivery LC300 GR Sports , john .
Thanks John, that is very kind of you to take the time out of your day and share, I sincerely appreciate it. Now that 300 of yours is going to be one flash rig. It will make my 200 look like a 1950’s school bus! Enjoy the ride when you get her mate😎👍
Excellent video and very informative. Thanks and I got so many inspirations from your videos. I have 100 series TD I wish Rhino hide do the kit for my car also but no luck so far... keep your shiny side up and love your videos mate😉🍻
Thank you so much for the kind words, I sincerely appreciate it and comments like yours are the reason I keep creating videos on RUclips (I do not monitise my channel, so zero dollars coming in). You too keep that shiny side up mate, cheers 😎👍
Thanks Frank, that’s very kind of you to say. I trust you will follow Jafffa Adventures for the new year, but if not I still wish you an amazing 2022 mate. Cheers😎👍
I fitted the exact same brake rotors (dba T3) all round on my LC80 (but fitted Bendix upgraded pads) I like the T3s because they're an upgrade brakes without having to do any modifications to fit them. The result is a massive braking improvements over stock.
That’s great feedback mate, thanks for sharing. I will be fitting mine in the next few weeks and I’m looking forward to sharing the results. Have a great 2022 mate, cheers😎👍
Gday mate new to the channel and really enjoying your content👌 I clean up my patrol pretty much the exact same way and order good feeling when there all clean again, 1 thing i do also because i have a caged roof rack is before chamoi time i get the garden blower out and blow all the water off my roof rack works a treat stops all those water runs when shes dry
Thanks for the kind words Shane, I sincerely appreciate it. I love your idea of the blower, sounds very well thought out. I trust you will stick with Jafffa Adventures for the coming year, lots of new content every week. Heaps of historical stuff in the library as well. Cheers👍😎
Ok, now that just super cool and super cheating, and I am VERY jealous Doug. I’m solo on the car, but Jill does do all the food planning and preparation so I can’t complain. Have a great 2022 mate, I trust you will continue to follow along with the Jafffa Adventures antics. Cheers😎👍
Thanks Jim, I try my best but with the ravages of a rough life and age I’m fighting an uphill battle 😉. Have a great 2022 Jim, I appreciate you following Jafffa Adventures, it does mean a lot to me. Cheers 😎
Thank you mate, that’s very kind of you to say. I’ll keep the content flowing in the future and I trust you will find some cool historical stuff in the library. Cheers😎👍
Good video Terry yet again. I'll be very interested in the brake upgrade in the future episode. Keep them rolling in (videos) and the red side down. Until next time, cheers
Thanks Greg, definitely keeping the red side down if I have anything to say about it😉. The brake episode will be coming in the next month or so, just have a significant amount of work related work to digest early in the new year so all I can ask is that you please be patient with me. Have a great 2022 mate, cheers😎👍
Hi Terry. All the best for the new year. Have you seen the new lockable Rhino hide yet? I'll be ordering mine when it's available. When i took out my rear seats and put the Drifter draws in, I had to notify DOT and it is now registered as a 5 seater. I was advised i might have insurance problems if i didn't. If you haven't done so already, it might pay to look into registering your vehicle as a 2 seater. To help protect my intercooler from damage, i purchased an SRW stainless screen and modified it to fit, it works a treat.
All great suggestions Peter, thanks for sharing them with me. I have seen the new lockable Rhinohide and I note that it is now available for the pre facelift 200 series like mine. If I did not have the old style, I would definitely be getting the new ones. Again thanks for comment mate, I sincerely appreciate it 😎👍
Thanks Grant, I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to comment. The clear wrap is the cheapest stuff that I can find on epray at the time. I use it once, then peel it off and discard it. There’s a video in my library on paint protection options and I go into a little more detail on that one. Cheers😎👍
@@JafffaAdventures awesome I will check it out as I only come across your channel dye to the 40 ya working on as my wife has a couple she is playing around with with the long term aim of doing them up . Cheers again
Great clip Terry, Im sure by now you have the brakes done! I hope you love them as much as I do. Ours went from useless to stopping like a V8 supercar. Cheers mate, hope to see you at Fraser. Steve
Thanks Steve, I appreciate your comments as always. I will have the brake episode coming out in the new year some time but won’t be anything earth shattering to anyone as many people have done similar videos. Cheers mate😎👍

Hi terry, I agree doing your own detailing is the go, down Side you end up with another list of to do’s looking forward to your Video on break change as I need to as well, I over heated the front rotors heading down to Tom Groggin from Thredbo very steep and long definitely damaged as have small steering wheel shutter after that
Another great video Terry,,,, You will love the brake upgrade. I did mine 12 months ago and swear by it and I don't tow either. Happy New year to you and Jill.... Mike
That’s great feedback Mike, thanks for sharing. I’m looking forward to smacking my eyeballs on the inside of my glasses once I get the upgrade done. Have a great 2022 mate, I trust it will be the best one yet. Cheers 😎👍
That question is pretty much impossible to answer as I do not have any empirical data to support a claim of preferring one over the other. I usually go with one of those two brands, and select them based on the price at the time. As I change it out every 5000km vs the 15,000km that Toyota states, I suspect there is a significant amount of useful life in both when I dump them out of the sump. Thanks for watching mate, cheers😎👍
I have an electronic version that I purchased off epray several years ago for the detailed stuff. For the simple stuff like an oil change, I have a Gregory’s manual. Cheers mate😎👍
1) I detail my LC ute every day. No, that's not true. There is more dust inside my work vehicle than outside on the road. I've never cleaned the interior and I drive around all day with the windows open - It's easier to see. 2) Biggest issue for farms is biosecurity where visitors bring foreign weed seeds. 3) I'll tell you something. Side rails are just about bloody useless. They trap logs and branches (road debris) and cause panel damage - The very thing they are supposed to protect. Also, when pushing down tight scrub tracks they don't stop scratches. And they don't help with roo strike on the side of a vehicle either. Roos unfortunately collide with our vehicles once a week so I know. Don't get me wrong - All our vehicles have them but the truth is that they don't do anything. Most people buy them to look tough and boss people around in the city traffic when they take their kids to school. Most people kid themselves that they need them. I drive every day of the year in thick scrub and heavy timber country and the side rails protect nothing. Also, ARB side rails and steps used to be strong enough to jack on but the last 15 years or so they are weaker steel. We only buy ARB because we have shares. Is it even Australian steel ?? And the alloy step treads are weak and bend up with any stick or track debris. You should see mine - They are far from farm-proof. They get bent that often that I don't bother hammering them back down any more. 4) I like the Canadian and Australian flags in your shed. No so keen on Communist China.
ARB has been a fantastic investment over the years. Their share price consistently on the rise with a senior management team that knows what they are doing. I rate them as a long term investment even with their share price as lofty as it is currently. The Russian flag is a tribute to my grandfather. He immigrated to Canada from Russia before the First World War to escape the tyranny of the communist oppression. Without his bold move I would not enjoy the life I do now. I’m grateful every day ❤️😎

Hi Ian, yes I have heard that as well. I have never seen any feedback of where someone was pulled up over the issue. If it is, I’m happy to run the gauntlet. Cheers😎👍
Yes absolutely Ian if your rear seats have airbag provisions (mine is a VX model and it does). There are two ways to address it. Toyota sell a jumper that plugs into the airbag sensor harness for the seats. You need 2. I think they are around $60 to $80 ea. Alternatively you can go to Jaycar and pick up 3.5ohms worth of resistors and make the jumper yourself. This costs about $3 and is the route I went down. I have a video called “Rig Rundown Interior” where I talk about it in a little more detail. If you remove the seats and choose to do nothing about it, the airbag light will come on and ALL airbags in the car will be inactive. Cheers
