Hi, I changed my LC to Part Time, but I did not delete the part that you removed at 9:56. Can that bring trouble? I thought that piece had to be left there. Thank you.
JUST ANOTHER LAND CRUISER thanks for the quick response. Do you need to install the switch yourself? I thought that the 80s didn’t come with a 4wd button
Been thinking of going this route. Nice research video for all us that are wanting to do this
Didn't you end up going split case later? In another vid i think i saw 3 sticks.
Why did you take the vicious coupler out?
Do you have the free wheeling hubs or is it just controlled by the centre difflock switch

Dönald Trümp Only early 80s came with switch. Others the pigtail was there and you could add the center diff lock switch switch.
JUST ANOTHER LAND CRUISER ooooh you mean the dif lock switch controls 4wd?
Dönald Trümp yes
What are the benefits to a part time TC?
It’s a preference. I prefer 2wd rather than AWD on a daily basis.
Check out ih8mud.com there is great info about all land cruisers
