    Great video! So glad that's all fixed up and cleaned, so much gunk and dirt my goodness! As always I learn a lot from you, even just watching you work. Definitely seems like it's designed for people with small hands (like mine!) to work on and not your big ole bear paws. But of course, you knew exactly what to do and how to get to what you needed to get at. Thanks so much for sharing Chris!

    Good video! I was looking and found a video from somwone who actually made a pretty darn good 270 degree awning pretty easily from scratch here on youtube, I even think it went on the same 80 series! Definitely should check into it! Keep up these types of videos!!

    Excellent video, you made this look easy. I have a diesel 80 so a bit different set up. The diesel FSM references the “No.1 crankshaft pulley” which I think is the same thing as the harmonic balancer. The crankshaft bolt on the diesel per the FSM is torqued to 362 ft/lb 😮. I haven’t done and lower end seal replacement yet but your video makes it look easy! Thank you for posting.

    That dang crank bolt is sometimes easy, and sometimes IMPOSSIBLE. Great video bud!

    10 mm on the battery is really a lottery, one of the weaknesses is the battery loom, if it hasn’t been upgraded already, those thin slip terminals should be chucked., and whilst your there, the power steering feed hose from directly below the reservoir, after 25 years, the rubber has deteriorated to the point, that it perspires steering fluid, if yours feels gummy to touch, it’s most probably the reason your pump area is wet. Took me a while to figure it out, a quality hose returned that side of block and hoses dry again.

    Balancer bolts are the tightest things ever. RB skyline engines you need like a 3m bar to remove and tighten.

    I like the idea of cardboard over the radiator to save time. Do you think you would have been able to get a 20v impact on the pump cover screws with the radiator still in? Seems like they weren’t too seized for you, but it looks like the safest way to get them out is to hammer your bit in and then zip them out with an impact.

    Where did you buy the blue ring you installed on the harmonic balancer that allowed you to mount the breaker bar?

    • @benagol7215

      Hey did anyone find out where he got that tool to break the harmonic balancer loose??

    • @justsomeguy4941
      @justsomeguy4941 3 месяца назад

      @@benagol7215 I am not sure where he got his, but it looks just like the one I have. I purchased it from OTRAMM as in OTRAMMs Garage. The guy is a Land Cruiser repair specialist. He puts up LC videos. If you do a search on RUclips, he will come up. He created the plate to make it easy to get bold loose without having to bump the engine.
