Planning to trade in my Samsung S22 Ultra for a Flip 6. I checked the Samsung Shop and was surprised by the big discounts. However, I've heard many reports about issues with Samsung's trade-in program being unreliable. In your opinion, should I risk trading in my old phone or not?
@charmy_pappitson Yes, you definitely should. I say this because other than the initial original trade-in value, that might possibly be altered after your phone has been assessed, there is still an additional discount that is way bigger that you will get during this pre-ordering period. If you stack that on top of the many credit card promotions, and if you were able to pre-register prior for the pre-order, then you would get a really, really, BIG discount as well as later payment w/ installment at 0% interest for some credit card companies.
My phone indicates a weak battery status. Will this impact the trade-in value for the Samsung Trade-In program? According to their website, there is no specific requirement concerning a weak battery, only a stipulation regarding a bloated battery, which my device does not have.
@@charmy_pappitson Indeed it doesn't, but if you were able to watch the entire video, there was a portion that they did take note of battery health. I suppose that it does affect the pricing, but as I mentioned prior, it may affect the main trade-in value, however if the additional trade-in pre-order is considered, you still get a bang for your buck with that discount w/c is more than the former. Also, if in any case you are not happy with the trade-in value, you may cancel and still keep your phone, however, the new phone you purchase, is another story entirely, that I don't think you can cancel just like that.
