"Buffalo '66 is one of the best films in movie history." This is not an overstatement! It is also one of the most slyly hilarious! Aspiring indie filmmakers should definitely check it out.
One of the best movies in movie history? Yeah I don’t know about that. You’re putting Buffalo 66 in the same category as casino or the godfather? Ricci was amazing in it though
Even if he doesn’t appreciate it- that movie wouldn’t have worked without Christina Richi:) it would have been weird to kidnap a girl into loving you, but she pulls off the empathy and warmth so well.
I haven’t seen this one since it was originally released. I’m not sure why because I thought this movie was fantastic back in the day. It definitely needs to be in my collection. You did a fantastic job with your review. I hope you are having a superawesome day my friend.
Hey wassup Rainbow. Glad to hear you discuss a film you truly love. How the heck did I miss that Houston and Ricci were together previously in the Adams Family movies? lol, anyway you have got my interest - I have to fire up Tubi and give this one a watch. Hey I thought of one viewer request I have been meaning to ask you about. The Clovehitch Killer from 2018. It stars Dylan McDermott. Just one to consider, be well and have a good one!
What's up, Anthony! I would be so happy to add The Clovehitch Killer to my subscriber request list. I remember really liking that one. Dylan Mcdermott is always great, especially in horror. My list keeps growing so it's on the line up for September. To anyone else reading this you can see my subscriber request waiting list on my About tab. I did consider Monster for my Christina Ricci month but I just wasn't sure, I might save that for a true crime segment. If you check out Buffalo '66 I would so love to hear your thoughts on it. It might take two to three watches to really like it, lol. I was on board with it right away though, I love everything little thing about that freakin' movie.
I read somewhere that Vincent Gallo paid Mickey Rourke his fee in notes in a brown paper bag ?. If so , it's in keeping with the bookmaker and his punter who is in hock and owes him big time.
Really great video. I've heard that the Brown Bunny is pretty poor I remember Roger Ebert describing its atrocious response at Cannes but you strike me as a bit of a completist with artists you get into. I am like that too. Once I get bitten by someone's work I have to explore even their absolute trash. I really liked how you went into the framing of the shots and the mannerisms of the characters. Nice work.
Lol, oh, yes he did. They actually hashed it out afterwards but he was still butt hurt over Siskel's comment about the film. Here is Roger and Vincent chatting about it on Howard Stern's show. The link starts where Roger comes in but it's really entertaining from the start: ruclips.net/video/E10YQWgHQDE/видео.html
A great review and I wouldn't mind you branching out and reviewing some obscure films too. Always refreshing to see a weird film that not many people know about. 🍻🍻
@@rainbowFRIGHT oh no! It’s unavailable in my region. I wish it was on Netflix or something. I guess I’ll have to find it some other way. I wrote it down though.
Yeah I got to check it out and understood what you meant by the creative dinner table scene this movie reminds me of the movie Excess Baggage.Thank you for replying and having interesting content.Have you heard of Demons 1985,Hellboy or Escape the Field? If that fits the criteria of your channel.Sorry for the long comment.
You don't have to apologize for long comments, I welcome them. I love all conversations that have to deal with horror so bring it on, lol. I haven't seen any of these films just yet. I keep stalling on Hellboy but I know it's a lot of people's favorite. I'll have to add them to my watch list! Escape the Field is reminding me of In the Tall Grass.
Great,I appreciate all that.I made quickly the same comparison to Escape the Field and In The Tall Grass.Escape the Field has more puzzle solving element to it.I normally like hidden gem like movies or unique concepts and wasn't sure if you had a preference to older movies or non gore ones and would rather mention something you would like or is popular. Most of the time it's whatever's easiest to stream. You Might Be The Killer,There's Someone Inside Your House and Tucker and Dale vs Evil are interesting but not sure if there actually popular. But also hope your well because it's not just about movies and shows.
I like it all, really. Most of the time when trying to pick movies to talk about on my channel I go for the more obscure or less popular ones that people haven't given a fair chance to. But lately I've been talking more about new release films as well. And I love gore but I don't need it in order for a movie to be enjoyable. Circle is a perfect example of an obscure film that needs so much more attention and didn't show any blood but was still effective. I reviewed that one awhile ago hoping to get more people interested in it. And I hope you're having a great weekend!

So, the football angle in the film is obviously the Buffalo Bills and the guy from the team he's mad at was the kicker. The Bills lost the Super Bowl in 1991 after their kicker, Scott Norwood, miss the kick to end the game. I'm from Buffalo and Scott Norwood was doing a signing and I brought my Blu-ray for him to sign, but lost my nerve to actually ask him to sign it. I saw this and Brown Bunny in the theater. Yikes. If you know, you know. Brown Bunny is a tough watch. I can't imagine it will ever make it to streaming.
Oh, no! It's too bad you lost your nerve, lol, at least you'll always have the memory. And actually, Brown Bunny is strangely available on the Internet Archive, I'll share the link below. Lol, was your theater full when you saw Brown Bunny? What was that crowd like? Brown Bunny (2004) Movie: archive.org/details/the-brown-bunny

Haha! I'm so glad you agree! Thank you so much for watching, Dos Incredibles!!

I really appreciate how insightful this review was. Gallo sounds like a nightmare, but damn did he make a good film. Ricci is amazing as always.
I had no idea until I started doing research and then there as no going back, I just had to share the magic of this film. Thank you, Ronald.✨
Even if he doesn’t appreciate it- that movie wouldn’t have worked without Christina Richi:) it would have been weird to kidnap a girl into loving you, but she pulls off the empathy and warmth so well.
I can definitely relate to Billy’s character. This review was interesting to watch.
I'd say the people who the love this movie the most probably relate to him, lol.
have you ever heard of a LUXURY car? have yoy ever heard of CADDILLAC? My cars Shift themselves!
Cause we're a loving couple, spanning time. 😅
@@rainbowFRIGHT lmao!! this movie is awesome i love it

Oh, yes, this should be a part of any collection with weird and dark movies. Thank you so much, j! You as well!
Excellent review! I was figuring after the video yesterday that you’d rate this one pretty high. Great video, cheers 🍻
Oh, yes, it deserves nothing less. Thank you, Ghostfake!! ✨🍻 ✨
This is my favorite movie. I’ve seen this over 50 times.
It's an absolute gem. Thank you for watching, Dean!
Damn, this movie is a trip lol. The table thing with forced perspective is neat.
Oh, yes, and gets better with every watch. Thank you for watching, Anthony.✨
Baskin!!! Yeah! I'm so excited to hear your thoughts, what a wild ride that is
I'm excited to check it out!!
He was definitely a product of his environment! This looks like a nice twisted movie!!
SO twisted, lol. That's what makes it great, along with a bunch of other things, lol.

I just revisited this film after many many years, and it still holds up. Absolute masterpiece of indy 90's cinema.
It gets better with every watch.
This movie is a flat out masterpiece and I’m awestruck by its brilliance every time I watch it.
You get it! Lol. Pure perfection.
Definitely sounds interesting! I’m gonna have to check this one out, also interesting to see Christina Ricci and Anjelica Huston together again!
It’s a good non horror that’ll still give you the creeps. Looking forward to hearing what you think about it!

@@rainbowFRIGHT nooo.
I’ve never heard of this one. Sounds interesting… I actually like movies with unlikeable protagonists sometimes
If that's the case this one will definitely have a good chance of being one of your favorites too.
Had been interested in this for a while and with the way you talk about it it does sound good.
It’s truly one of THE best. I don’t think you’ll regret it. Thank you for watching!
