also shout out for being the first "disturbing film" video out of dozens I've watched to mention only movies I haven't seen and mostly haven't heard of. I hope you can redeem these points for free therapy
I mean, they're all kinda dogshit. XD That's probably why people don't bother talking about them. It's easier to go for Audition, Visitor Q, or Antichrist than it is to go for discount Battle Royale, I wanna be a horror wait no I wanna be arthouse wait no I wanna be home invasion wait no I wanna be social commentary but follow none of that through infinity pool, or 'you've seen every part of this movie somewhere else' creek. Womb was okay.
i was thinking the same lol whenever theres a video like this its either things ive heard of/are extremely popular or its just like straight up porn. these are messed up without just being porn. also idc if theyre dogshit im one of those people who will read and watch anything in the specific genre i like just because its that genre
Mean Creek has probably the most relatable bully story ever for me because the kid who bullied me would refer to me as a friend to others. And we kinda were friends, we'd hang out and I legit thought it was just normal to do stuff like this. But like you said, he was a kid and the choice they made was undoubtedly the wrong choice.
_Mayhem_ is probably a better excecution of the idea of a bunch of white-collar workers killing eachother in an office building... and has Samara Weaving in it, which is always a plus
I remember Womb- honestly, if anyone told me that this was a part of the Black Mirror universe I would believe them. All of the implications and the ending of the movie just makes you question...So much....Too much.
Me watching womb: I mean therapy would be the cheaper, healthier option but eff it! Let's throw reason out the window and be dysfunctional for no reason
It's so funny to me that out of all of these, Belko is the only one I'd heard of before. (BTW if you want a way more fun take on an office blood-bath I'd recommend Mayhem.) Also that last line killed me, I wouldn't want those dollars either
Mean Creek sounds a bit similar to Nerdy Prudes Must Die, just in the initial set up, the rest is very different. Have you seen that musical from Team Starkid or others from their Hatchetfield series in the horror genre? They're very good! (as are all their shows)
Idk if youre taking reccomendations but “The coffee table” by Caye Casas made my heart freeze, the movie constantly keeps you on edge, you can see a man losing his sanity minute by minute while trying to be composed around his wife and brother because none of them know about the atrocities that happened while he was home alone, and all of that because of some ugly ass coffee table (btw the movie is in spanish bc it was filmed in spain)
Im not sure if you'll see this but a better horror movies set in an office is mayhem, it's horror comedy and it's about a virus that makes people angry getting spread in an office building with two infected people deciding to team up to kill their boss, it's very cool and very funny
If you want a Belko experiment that actually uses its setting, watch Mayem ! It's pretty fun. Plus Mean Creek sounds a bit like Super Dark Times, but the latter ends even worsly
I feel like i have seen another movie similar to belko experiment, but there they actually get gritty and violent with people murking each other with office appliances and stuff. Ah yess!! Mayhem! (2017) that's the one basically a virus makes people go crazy and violent.
mean creek is like that one plot line of the disturbing movie all about lily chou chou, the plot where the characters went to a trip and came back different.
Messed up films that will stay with me. Girl Next Door (An American Crime is also inspired by the same true story), I Spit On Your Grave, Last House on the Left (Remake) Concrete, Bedeviled and Funny Games.
@prettyhatemachinexoxo it's a hard watch. I cry everytime. And knowing that the real life girl (Sylvia Likens) went through WORSE than that is heartbreaking.
Ok the OG Last House on the Left is kinda funny (not what’s happening) bc it has this thing where there’s dumb songs narrating what’s happening and one of them is this wacky sounding songs with lyrics like “gonna have fun with these children and then off them as soon as we’re doooooone!!” It’s really goofy. I haven’t seen the remake tho
@xafilmbyx yeah the music score and the b plot with the sheriff and his deputy seem so out of place in that film 😅 they take the stuff out of the remake.
4:09 If you want a fun horror movie with white collar workers battle royale-esque (and they are very smart in utilizing the items in the office) and somewhat commentary on American corporate hierarchy, really recommend Mayhem
The Infinity Pool sounds a little bit similar to the 1966 film Seconds starring Rock Hudson. An aging man talks to his recently deceased best friend over the phone who tells him he can get a new life far removed from his current dull one. away from his loveless marriage, away from his boring job. the company he finds thru his friend, stages his death with a body double. they completely change his look, making him appear younger, they have a pre built occupation for him as a painter. he has a guide to help him adjust to this new dream life of his. But of course. He ends up learning this new life may not be what it seems. its a decent movie. kinda slow in the middle but might be worth watching atleast once.
“If I had a dollar for every time Eva green played a mother figure that’s attached to the child she’s supposed to protect, then I would have two dollars. I don’t want these dollars!” This made me lol.
So, I'm about 11 years old(appx), and it's 2 am in the morning after Saturday while watching TV as kids and teens who get away with it at the time. And there's this completely strange film on the local channel that plays all the blue movies after the late night talk shows are done. I really, really don't remember the plot, but it looked like something from the mid 70's to the early 80's and it was set in a really weird post- dystopian Greek or Roman commune with a lot of hippies and kids. But the last scene was trippy to say the least. The young bohemian couple who are the leads, step into this big green garden bed, almost naked and go into a lying embrace and they're surrounded by all the kids in the group.
this was a great video!! loved hearing you discuss these films. i think my only suggestion may be to equalize the volume of your voice and the Pikmin sound between each film, the pikmin noise can be kinda loud compared to your voice.
Ty for bringing these suggestions to me. I loved infity pool and belco like tou said was ok. So im interested in the last 2 i haven't seen. I am curious about what you think of some horror movies. not the super gory ones but ones that make u genuinely scared.
Seeing a lot of people recommend Mayhem bc of Belko and I just want to promote the Last Drive In showing of the film! Goes into the making of it, reveals fun facts (there’s real sex in the movie) all over a great time!
also shout out for being the first "disturbing film" video out of dozens I've watched to mention only movies I haven't seen and mostly haven't heard of. I hope you can redeem these points for free therapy
Not even belko experiment? That was HUGE back then
I mean, they're all kinda dogshit.

@@allihavearepasta-basedthou2890I dunno, these seem fine. I'd rock with Mean Creek heavy.
You seen Minions? Those lil guys are pretty messed up if you ask me
They look like clones too, and this video shows there's only two ways that can end.
“consent is doing cartwheels in the air” 😭 what a turn of phrase. but from everything you’ve said truly the only way to describe it i fear
Oh god i just got to that part and Oh my god i can't believe Matt smith is in this movie!!
"i dont want these dollars" lmao
Killed me
yeah Belko Experiment sounds like it failed to meet any of its possible advantages
when fun scenarios find mediocre heads 😪
_Mayhem_ is probably a better excecution of the idea of a bunch of white-collar workers killing eachother in an office building... and has Samara Weaving in it, which is always a plus
@@Mario_Angel_Medina my gigantic crushes, Steven Yeun and Samara Weaving, are both in it so I'm *here* for this
The Belko Experiment is just the poor mans battle royal
@geektanic that’s a different movie called “mayhem “
"Why is giving birth to your lover your first plan, Rebecca?!" got me dead AF over here....
Thank god u disclosed saying "thats messed up" as a necessary feature of messed up movies
it's just a lil intro leave me alone 😭
Where is the lie tho
My favorite part was when Morpho said "It's Morphin time." And Morphed all over those guys
The joke has come full circle 😌
I'm tired of this grandpa
LOL
@@RatEatRatTHAT’S TOO DAMN BAD!
"It's morphin time" then they died from overdosed
"i don't want these dollars" has me dying
"I don't want these dollars" got me
To think I was about to eat without a video but morpho came in clutch
as always i save the day 💅
How do you eat to Morpho video, half of them describe horrors beyond human comprehension
@thatonebonkchoyguy morpho fans just have a strong stomach
@@somebodyknowitall7131 I was eating noodles too double fun
I cannot believe Josh Peck was in a horror movie. Well, maybe not a horror movie but a drama movie where he fuckin dies.
Ironically he's in another one called ATM I think and the same thing happens 😭😭
Matt Smith jumpscare
I remember Womb- honestly, if anyone told me that this was a part of the Black Mirror universe I would believe them. All of the implications and the ending of the movie just makes you question...So much....Too much.

hey, it makes a fascinating watch and answers questions nobody wanted answers to
I like this channel. The deadpan delivery and the dry humor is just *chef's kiss*
IS THAT JOSH PECK
It is. And Rory Culkin
Oh my god that's why he looked familiar
Yeah.
Infinity Pool sounds like something Butterscotch Horseman would go trough.
morpho i love the horrible information you bring to us
It's so funny to me that out of all of these, Belko is the only one I'd heard of before. (BTW if you want a way more fun take on an office blood-bath I'd recommend Mayhem.) Also that last line killed me, I wouldn't want those dollars either
I was trying to remember the name of that one. It was pretty good!
There’s real fornication in mayhem! Just fun fact
Surprisingly, I heard of two of these, the first two, and now I think I know too much.
mayhem was pretty fun
Mean Creek sounds a bit similar to Nerdy Prudes Must Die, just in the initial set up, the rest is very different. Have you seen that musical from Team Starkid or others from their Hatchetfield series in the horror genre? They're very good! (as are all their shows)
Can’t believe you covered the movie from the meme where they took george’s homophobic rant and edited it into the drake and josh intro
I was just thinking, “I wish I had some new morpho” and you did it! Tysm ❤
8:00 I can still hear Mia from these scenes. Her acting with her voice is just so great
Idk if youre taking reccomendations but “The coffee table” by Caye Casas made my heart freeze, the movie constantly keeps you on edge, you can see a man losing his sanity minute by minute while trying to be composed around his wife and brother because none of them know about the atrocities that happened while he was home alone, and all of that because of some ugly ass coffee table (btw the movie is in spanish bc it was filmed in spain)
I hate being that guy, but the first movie is basically Danganronpa set in an office lmao
That's exactly what I was thinking and hoping someone else said!
You hate the guy, yet you became him regardless 😞
The last one, the last one sure is something
“BABE! NEW MORPHO DROPPED!” I yell into my empty apartment.
I wish i was a barbie doll too
Earliest I’ve ever been to a morpho video, Ive been chosen 🙏
Im not sure if you'll see this but a better horror movies set in an office is mayhem, it's horror comedy and it's about a virus that makes people angry getting spread in an office building with two infected people deciding to team up to kill their boss, it's very cool and very funny
Maybe “better” but less applicable to the qualifier “messed up” which is in the title thus a requirement
@maddieb.4282 myeah myeah i know, still this is just a recommendation :p
Oh nahh…the second someone wants to put anything in your body for any reason that’s it. You in danger.
People with pacemakers start sweating.

omg pls talk abt cracks, that movie disturbed me sm
idk whats goin on with your accent/voice but its very relaxing and i want to hear you talkin bout movies to fall asleep to
I always remember Mean Creek because Josh Peck circa Drake and Josh goes off on a tyrade in it.
Would love to hear your thoughts on Pearl, and maybe the other movies in the X trilogy as well!! Love your videos
The Nightingale, Incendies, Amores Perros, Babel. I want my sanity back.
