You know I find it funny you’ve been using like some characters from spy family Ghibli film and Helsing and yet we know the adopted abuse child now man is going to be Dwayne The Rock Johnson
Edward holding hands with morpho got me
10:05 😂
1:19 So I'm this far into the video, asking has anyone heard of "The Strange Thing About the Johnsons"? That's just the vibe so far. Ari Aster, man. Edit: 3:27 Oh shit, Midsommar clip!
i really like the saying “people should be able to choose when to stop suffering.” and “why should our grieve be more important than our loved ones suffering.”
2:20 Okay, I'm not cultured enough to know for sure but I'm feeling this Joan of Arc meme so hard I hope I'm right.
20:41 "How about the abused kid grows up to be a nice fucking person for once? How about that?" I added that last part cause that's how it came across to me. Love it. That's most of us, isn't it? Then again, I'm here watching this video.
Subscribed for the facts-spitting around 21:55 - I genuinely started laughing out loud because of how ridiculous it sounded when put so perfectly. Well done. "You love comparing things so much..."
Loved the video.
MORPHO YOU CAN'T MAKE THUMBNAILS LIKE THIS. I THOUGHT YOU WERE MAKING A "HEAR ME OUT "
Also this movie is low-key giving Coraline. The Other Mother was a spider like creature giving dolls that look like little girls to her victims. Daddy Longlegs?? Hello??
Hey morpho it's me again i am sorry i haven't been able to watch your videos due to my toxic parents I have two book recommendations for you this time can you please read lapvona or tender is in flesh I would love to listen your review on it You are my favorite youtuber ♥️ Please My toxic parents take my tab away from me due to me getting 95% in this exam( they expected 99% 😒) this is common here in India they think these are bad grades today they gave the tab due to me having a science exhibition in school (they only want me to win the trophy 😒) and not because i study hard for 15 hours EVERY SINGLE FUCKING DAY and my parents have no sympathy for me so i will probably be back after few days Thank you so much for reading so till then byee
I've listened to some of your splatterpunk books reviews before bed and had dreams so effed up and vile that I had to write them down in the morning just to cope with them.😵💫
I like that you included anime pictures because the plot of this could only ever be conceived by someone who definitely likes anime (or at least JP death game media) but really wishes the Rock and Hitler were also there.
its kind of incredible that the book managed to swivel so quickly from intense misogyny to intense homophobia like holy shit guy was speedrunning all his bigotry... thank you for breaking it down :')
10:27 holy fucking shit this went from 0 to 11 in an instant.😂🤣😂 Edit: wtf is that ending. Gay people don't want to become women, that's not how it works. That's WILD
That book tries so hard to be edgy💀
my thoughts as a disabled person whos also a survivor of CSA: brrrrruuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhh
this is why only queer people can be trusted with splatter punk. or can they.
I honestly think this movie would have been better as a dark comedy instead of playing it as a serious metaphor for assisted dying. Like the pieces are there! Just look at this title, it sounds like prime material for a dark horror Comedy.
I watched the movie and it kinda is a dark comedy in a way, but the comedy gets pushed to the background in the 3rd act.
As a homosexual can confirm I just want to be a man's meal. Maybe less literally though
Based😊
dude 😭
Extreme horror is such an interesting concept but it's so overtaken with just men who write nothing but assaulting and hurting women. Horror is more than just gross shit happening and misogyny and it's exhausting to try and explain that. Some disturbing horror is great, like Gone to See The Riverman? Tender is the Flesh? I ate that shit up! But the horror is less "gross thing, gross thing, sexual violence against women" and more subtle. I don't know I guess Aron Beauregard writes like a try hard, he just throws shit, vomit and misogyny against a wall hoping something sticks. Edit: Yay homophobia too wtff
“And she dies of.. death-“ The best way to describe death in horror
6:13 Woooooooow, thank you, I really needed to know that, I don’t know what I’d do if you never told me
5:03 What was this song called again? I can’t remember for the life of me
Camille Saint-Saëns - Danse Macabre

“I wasn’t weird enough in my teens someone inform me please.” I don’t think I have ever heard something so relatable in my life. Legitimately.

Horror makes me feel like in a movie. I am just glad it's over its the sensation we really look according to Hitchcock: the relief after the horror
What a treat!! As always when you upload a video 😂
The problem when you pass such laws is that most likely than not, government will end up using that as a solution rather than “wasting” money on trying to improve the lives of people that actually CAN get treatment and get better. Rather than finding solutions to for exemple, people that can’t afford treatment, they’ll simply give them the option of “MAID” and even tho it’ll seem like an informed decision, it wasn’t bcz they could’ve helped save that person and didn’t (there are already homeless people applying to get MAID not because they suffer from an illness that can’t be cured, but poverty, something we can as humans help each other out to get rid off, but don’t). It’s a slippery slope that won’t go well especially in a primarily capitalist world, slowly we will push more and more people towards it when we could cure them, and less studies will be financed bcz that option is more economical. I think we will end up with the same dilemma of death penalty, where in and of itself, it’s not morally wrong to give it out bcz some people commit crimes that genuinely can’t be reformed like war criminals, but at the same time under flawed justice systems, you always end up with cases of innocent people technically murdered by the state, and I feel like just like we ended up scrapping death penalty in most places due to cases of executing innocent people, and I like to think most people would agree one person wanting to live having been killed while innocent is already too much, we will sadly kill lots of people before waking up to the huge problems it creates and it sadly already started when I remember a mentally ill person being advised to go with MAID and him doing it even tho he wasn’t mentally capable of fully grasping it and without informing his family that was already taking care of him and didn’t have financial issues, they simply got a notice after he passed and I found that so dystopian. This isn’t a simple 4 weeks embryo that barely exists, but whole human beings that will end up pushed thru that door not bcz of sickness but desperation thinking they have no option when there could be and simply bcz governments refuse to invest in it. And sadly I feel like when governments apply it (and more will), it’ll be way harder to overthrow the decision if we end up with multiplying cases of basically assisted murder because, it’s a bonus economically, and which government would let this option go…
i don't disagree with you. i approached the topic from a more emotional and philosophical place but the reality would be close to what you said but i still think it is an option that could successfully work in a country that isn't as corrupt as the us. the story of that man is quite terrifying though. that's just insane. i can't even imagine how i would react if i were his family
that pun at the end was really cool morpho. morphites, unite!
I have BPD, and given all that I’ve been through and what I feel like is coming up in America…I wish I had access to MAID

Very interesting movie.
Serious talks with your friendly neighbourhood morpho! Dude you should talk about stuff all the time. You got good opinions and a nice voice.

6:38 MEEEOWS 🗣️
Yayyy, morpho video :D
A lot of people tend to dismiss the suffering of the mentally ill when it comes to this discussion so thank you for actually giving it a fair assessment. I don’t think it’s an issue that really has a clear answer, and I say that as someone well acquainted with mental health issues and mental disability. Thank you for not just immediately pulling out ‘the sanctity of life’ or the ‘it gets better’ cards!!
