OK I'm huge horror fan, favourite genre and I've never had shudder 😂 I'm very limited with time depending on situations however cutting to the chase I will subscribe. I have friends who are converting from death metal videos to short films and I have been on set (middle of the woods) and it's not easy.

Rob zombies halloween is one of the best horror movies ever its in my top 3 Rz halloween = documentary Og halloween = fantasy-movie I will never understand why the most fans dont like rob zombie atmosphere and why they dont like realism To me its like a rocky fan telling mike tyson how to do his job...

Yessss I agree, I do think that the second and this one took themselves too serious, I do like them a lot tho but I hope they can take that beautiful atmosphere from the og. I loved the whole mix between the warmness and happiness from Christmas with the terror art brings 😭

I disagree its not so much the story, but the lore and world building . the sword and the entity were fascinating to me. Hopefully they expanded on it a bit. If he didnt thats fine too. He can always slowly flesh it out in the future films.

Excellent review. Loved the editing at the start. I feel the same about this franchise. Storytelling is not its strongest suite but who cares. Its all about the kills right?

I think the remake came at the right time for me, as I was delving into even more horror in my high school years, and getting the chance to see this with my friends on opening night was everything! Although I get that most think the backstory isn't necessary, I appreciated it as a different take on the character. I think it's underrated, personally. I think in a roundabout way, it made me appreciate the OG Halloween when I watched it as a young adult in college. Great commentary! 👌👌👌

I agree that the 2007 ending did something different, but I do think that the chilling nature of the first ending is unparalleled. Especially the way Laurie starts crying and then it cuts to the shots of the homes with the theme playing while Michael breathes. 😭😭😭
